- Opis:
- The Roman-Catholic Church possesses its own legal order that evolves through the time and has its origin in Judaistic and Roman traditions. Its form is determinated by the principles given by Ecclesiology which theologians are developed in every epoch. The internal dynamic of Church’s development determinates the direction of reforms the Canon Law which includes the deposit of faith as a constant element and the Signs of the Time as the variable counterpart. Past experiences teach that a law will not endure/exist without a legal tradition. Durability of the legal system is necessary in order to provide the community of feeling of stability of the Church. The sources of existence of Canon Law and its cognition are the guarantors for the continuity of the Church's legal system as well as the living monuments of tradition. The eminent proofs of the canonical tradition are the Code of Canon Law 1917 and the Code of Canon Law 1983. The application and teaching of norms within or extra the Code of Canon Law presupposes and demands an understanding of the aforementioned sources of law.
