Opis:
The article describes both theoretical and practical application of thought methods supporting the creation of innovative solutions. The “ideas crushing” technique was presented, which helps to discover as many defects as possible in a crushed object in order to use them to create a new, better object. The technique of “Six Thinking Hats” using lateral thinking was also characterized. This type of thinking is characterized by problem-solving by looking at things differently than usual. The article shows how to create creative solutions using heuristic methods. The list of requirements for innovative cleaning equipment was made through the use of an “ideas crushing” method called reverse brainstorming. After answering a series of crushing questions, appropriate conclusions were drawn. Subsequently, the defects found were catalogued according to their type, and those that did not bring tangible benefits in relation to the costs of their removal, were rejected. At the last stage of the method, possible solutions to the most important disadvantages were proposed. The practical application of the “Six Thinking Hats” method was also presented. It allowed to consider the problem from the point of view of several areas: emotions, facts, optimism, pessimism, innovative ideas, logical thought process. The described methods can be used in other areas of industry and life.

Opis:
This article presents the assessment of the creative culture and the level of innovativeness in selected manufacture enterprises. The theoretical part of the article discusses the space for creativity in the company and the microfoundations of the pyramid of needs related to creative culture. The pyramid consists of different microfoundations, which were used to create a questionnaire to assess the level of creative culture. This study assessed creative culture according to a model of the hierarchy of needs, developed by the author of this study based on Maslow’s pyramid of needs. The assessment used an innovation questionnaire and a creative culture questionnaire. This article presents a sample analysis of the results obtained from two of the companies that participated in the study. Furthermore, the article summarizes the results obtained from all participating companies and gives recommendations related to establishing creative culture based on these results. Every company should implement appropriate standards to help it develop a creative working environment. The goal of assessing creative culture in a company is to assist managers in building a workplace that fosters creativity, since such a workplace is a significant factor affecting the emergence of innovation. The analysis of the creative culture of the companies revealed their weaknesses and strengths in this respect. The developed methodology will undoubtedly influence an increase of awareness and knowledge of enterprises in the field of creating a pro-creative company culture. Such actions will contribute to the increase of company’s innovation, thus influencing its development.

The article deals with research on pro-innovation culture on a selected example. The analysis was based on the Copacking Department in a food industry company. In order to do the research, factors that influence the creation of a pro-innovative corporate culture and the essence of an approach focused on innovation were indicated. A survey of individual climate perception of the workplace was conducted on a group of 20 line employees of the Copacking Department. The developed questionnaire contained closed questions about the selfassessment of the employee and his team, development, motivation and attitude of superiors. Analysis of individual elements of the organization and the results of the survey allowed to identify areas that positively affect the functioning of a pro-innovative culture in the enterprise. Factors that require further research and improvement are also indicated. Proposals for corrective action that could support the development of these elements were presented.

The article deals with the subject of recruitment of a candidate for a creative team in manufacturing company. For this purpose, a recruitment model has been developed. It consists of three main stages: preliminary selection of candidates, assessment of the predispositions of the selected candidates to work in a team and creative team building. The authors developed recruitment model of a candidate for a creative team includes a set of tools supporting the assessment at each stage. In the first stage concerning the preliminary selection, a competence Questionnaire for working in a creative team, was developed. The second stage includes the assessment of a candidate’s predispositions with the use of original tools for assessing creativity, a tool supporting the monitoring of employees’ activity in proposing innovative solutions and assessment center methodology. The principles of AC remained the same. The competences that a creative team should possess were adjusted to the tool. Tasks were proposed in order to assess these competences. The tool itself is ready for application. In the subsequent stage of research, the tool in question will be tested in selected companies and evaluated. The last stage concerns the team building. The tool used at this stage is the Questionnaire for assessing the role in the team. While creating a recruitment model of a candidate for a creative team, of the selected companies team leaders were consulted.
