Asset market interconnectedness can give rise to significant contagion risks during periods of financial crises that extend beyond the risks associated with changes in volatilities and correlations. These channels include the transmission of shocks operating through changes in the higher order co-movements of asset returns, including changes in co-skewness arising from changes in the interaction between volatility and average returns across asset markets. These additional contagion channels have nontrivial implications for the pricing of options through changes in the payoff probability structure and more generally, in the management of financial risks. The purpose of this study was to investigate the financial risk contagion from the financial sector to the real sector of the economy using VAR-BEKK-GARCH for the active industries in the Tehran Stock Exchange during the period of 1388-1395. The estimated coefficients for considering the period of the crisis and the recession in the stock market indicate that the coefficients are positive for the effect of the outflow in the stock market. Also, in the case study, there is a probability of financial risk fluctuation between the investigated industries. In addition, the results indicate that the risk and turmoil among the active industries in the stock market and the real sector of the Iranian economy are tangible.

Opis:
The objective of this paper is to examine the asymmetric effects of corporate liquidity and dividend in banking sector and stock market on economic growth in Iran. For this purpose we used the Smooth Transition Regression (STR) method based on period 1980-2018. The results indicate that the impact of corporate liquidity and dividend indices on economic growth is different for economic growth rates above and below 8.5%. Results show that earnings have a net positive impact on firm value in the presence of growth options, high external financing costs and low default risk. High levels of retained earnings enhance debt capacity but have a negative effect on equity value due to the likelihood of losing accumulated cash balances in case of default, unless offset by high external financing costs. Opposite directional effects of retained earnings on equity and debt create a U-shaped relation with firm value.

Aluminized melt cast formulations based on 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT) deliver an enhanced blast effect because the secondary combustion process of aluminum (Al) occurs beyond the detonation zone. A new method is introduced to assess the detonation performance and characteristics of aluminized TNT explosives on the basis of the laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technique, in both air and argon (Ar) atmospheres. The plasma emissions of the prepared samples were recorded, where the atomic lines of Al, C, O and H as well as the molecular bands of AlO, CN and C2 were identified. A good discrimination and separation between the samples was possible using LIBS and principle component analysis (PCA), although they had similar atomic compositions. The quantitative calibration curve obtained using the relative intensity of Al/O was used to determine the detonation velocity/pressure and aluminum content of the TNT/Al samples. Comparisons between experimental and theoretical spectra were made using a Nelder–Mead temperature program for CN bands, which provided good agreement with the fitted spectra. Finally, CN vibrational temperatures were calculated from these spectral fittings. These temperatures have higher values in an Ar atmosphere than in an air atmosphere. Thus, increasing the oxygen concentration can decrease these temperatures in TNT/Al standard samples.
