The authors suggest a uniform system for the diagnostics of the whole machine fleet of the company, which involved isolation of groups of machines with different importance and assigning them with a specific and defined way of collecting diagnostic information. Because of the operating, diagnostic, protection and management system, utility machines in the company belong to different groups of importance. These machines can be divided into: critical, quasi-critical and auxiliary. The authors define general requirements for the system supervising the technical condition of machines and requirements for diagnostic tools.
Autorzy proponują jednolity system diagnostyki dla całego parku maszynowego przedsiębiorstwa polegający na wyodrębnieniu grup maszyn o różnej ważności i przypisaniu im określonego, zdefiniowanego sposobu zbierania informacji diagnostycznych. Ze wzglądu na system eksploatacji, diagnostyki, zabezpieczenia i zarządzania, maszyny użytkowane w przedsiębiorstwie przynależą do różnych grup ważności. Maszyny te można podzielić na: krytyczne, quasi-krytyczne i pomocnicze. Autorzy określają wymagania ogólne wobec systemu nadzoru stanu technicznego maszyn oraz wymagania wobec narzędzi diagnostycznych.

This paper presents an attempt of the economic assessment of high voltage squirrel-cage induction motors diagnosis. Costs of diagnostic measurement of stator winding insulation have been estimated. These costs have been compared to the costs of possible repairs. Diagnosis costs have been also compared to the costs of energy used by these machines. Costs of diagnosis which has been done internally are compared to the costs of an external service, taking into account the amount of machines in the plant.

Artykuł opisuje przykład zastosowania nowej technologii i organizację efektywnej diagnostyki eksploatacyjnej napędów elektrycznych w przemyśle cementowym, na wdrożonym przykładzie. Zastosowana diagnostyka off-line obejmuje uszkodzenia typu elektromagnetycznego i mechanicznego. Autorzy zaproponowali zmianę zasad eksploatacji maszyn, wprowadzili zmiany w zabezpieczeniach maszyn i urządzeń. Zestawienie zespołów napędowych w cementowni z podziałem na grupy o różnej ważności: maszyny strategiczne, maszyny podstawowe, maszyny pomocnicze. Dla poszczególnych grup maszyn wprowadzili diagnostykę off-line i on-line. Autorzy przedstawią efektywne sposoby diagnostyki on-line stanu maszyn elektrycznych takie jak: • Pomiar drgań względnych dla napędów o łożyskach ślizgowych • Pomiar wyładowań niezupełnych monitorujący w sposób ciągły izolacją główną, zwojową maszyn elektrycznych.

W miarę upływu czasu eksploatacji maszyn, obserwuje się zmianę intensywności wnz przy charakterystycznych rozkładach fazowo-rozdzielczych. Diagnostykę można prowadzić w oparciu o wszystkie dostępne czujniki wnz. Proponowane przez autora własne rozwiązania czujników i przyrządów do pomiarów wnz w maszynach elektrycznych w warunkach przemysłowych sprawdziły się. Wyniki pomiarow wnz silnikow zależą od: stanu ich izolacji, obciążenia silnika, temperatury uzwojeń, wilgotności, poziomu zakłoceń zewnętrznych oraz od charakterystyki czujników wnz i aparatury analizującej wnz.
Operation of electric machines is accompanied by partial discharges. Partial discharges have a very complex nature. Together with progressing use of machines, there is a change in the intensity of partial discharges with typical phase-resolved distributions. The diagnostics can be carried out using available partial charge detectors. The author’s solutions regarding detectors and devices for measurements of partial discharges in electric machines in industrial conditions have proved to be successful. Results of measurements of partial discharges in motors depend on: the condition of their insulation, motor load, temperature of windings, humidity, level of external interference, and characteristics of partial discharge detectors and partial discharge analysing devices.

Current-based diagnostics of electric motors is most common in the industry. Almost all basic defects of the motor are "reflected" in the current of the stator in the induction motor. Using measurements and analysis of a current signal, we can detects the following, among others, in the motor: cage damages; gap asymmetry; the lack of centricity in the setting of the motor in respect of the driving machine; unbalance of the rotor; bearing damages; partial discharges in the insulation. In the article, the authors presented the issue of measurement and analysis of a current signal; they also analysed the use of individual measuring detectors. The article shows possibilities of using Rogowski coils for utilisations diagnostics of squirrel-cage induction motors. It presents possibilities of application for: detection of non-alignment in the drive; cage damages; and air-gap asymmetry.

Opis:
During own tests, the authors have developed own structures of antenna detectors based on RTDs, used for measurement of partial discharges in electric machines. The detectors can still measure the temperature. The author demonstrate high usefulness of RTD-type antenna systems in measurements of partial discharges in motors. Measuring instruments can be installed without stopping the motor, using factory-made temperature sensors and their take-offs located outside of the motor. The measurement of partial discharges by individual RTDs situated in motors enables to locate the place of partial discharge generation, i.e. the place where winding insulations are weakened. The authors suggest to include the aforementioned comments in design of new electric motors in order to ensure factory preparation of motors for such measurements.

The article presents the results of diagnostic measurements of partial discharge signal propagation from the winding insulation in electrical machinery, which were performed using an on-line method. This paper describes the results of experiments and the acquired experience in the monitoring of winding insulation in high power and high voltage electrical machines which are important in industrial production processes. The authors show the measurement techniques employed in their research. Representative measurement results are presented along with their analysis. The authors use an SKF monitoring systems to measure: vibrations, temperature, and humidity, as major factors affecting partial discharge activity in the from winding insulation of electrical machines.

This article describes a definition of thermal comfort and how to determine the conditions of thermal comfort for high voltage electrical machines using at work. The basis for determining the conditions of comfort is to measure the PD and microclimate measured on-line methods in industrial use. The proposal involves the determination of the temperature and moisture and relative humidity at which the PD activity is at a very low level. Presented in this paper results of the study show the existence of such microclimatic conditions in which the level of PD activity can be reduced to a minimum. Note, however, that designated this way microclimatic conditions do not adversely impact other operating parameters of electrical machines.
W artykule przedstawiono definicję pojęcia i sposób wyznaczania warunków komfortu cieplnego maszyn elektrycznych wysokiego napięcia na podstawie pomiaru aktywności wyładowań niezupełnych (wnz) oraz parametrów mikroklimatu mierzonych metodami on-line w warunkach przemysłowej eksploatacji. Propozycja polega na wyznaczeniu takiej temperatury i wilgotności powietrza, przy których aktywność wnz jest na bardzo niskim poziomie. Przedstawione w artykule wyniki badań własnych dowodzą istnienia takich warunków mikroklimatycznych, w których poziom aktywności wnz może zostać zredukowany do minimum. Należy jednak pamiętać, aby wyznaczone tym sposobem warunki mikroklimatyczne nie wpływały negatywnie na pozostałe parametry eksploatacyjne maszyn elektrycznych.

W artykule przedstawiono sposób wyznaczania warunków komfortu cieplnego maszyn elektrycznych wysokiego napięcia na podstawie pomiaru aktywności wyładowań niezupełnych (wnz) oraz parametrów mikroklimatu mierzonych metodami on-line w warunkach przemysłowej eksploatacji. Propozycja polega na wyznaczeniu takiej temperatury i wilgotności powietrza, przy których aktywność wnz jest na bardzo niskim poziomie. Przedstawione w artykule wyniki badań własnych dowodzą istnienia takich warunków mikroklimatycznych, w których poziom aktywności wnz może zostać zredukowany do minimum. Należy jednak pamiętać, aby wyznaczone tym sposobem warunki mikroklimatyczne nie wpływały negatywnie na pozostałe parametry eksploatacyjne maszyn elektrycznych.

This article presents influence static eccentricity and uneven magnetization of the rotor on value and form of the stator deformation of Brushless Direct Current Motor (BLDC) with permanent magnets due to magnetic forces. Numerical calculations were performed for selected causes of static eccentricity and uneven magnetization of the magnets.
