    Opis:
    Businesses are prone to various risks resulting from changing conditions of the world’s economy. It can be said that all decisions made in companies about future and steps taken to achieve their goals are fraught with risk. Enterprises selling or purchasing products and services on foreign markets run the risk related to the foreign exchange rate fluctuations. The rational foreign exchange risk management by means of derivatives (forward contracts, futures contracts, swaps, and other currency options) is able to cover a company against significant losses. By means of the foreign exchange risk management model based on currency options, the company importing products from China and offering them in the Western Europe is able to mitigate the negative impact of changes on the forex market completely.
    Przedsiębiorstwa dokonujące sprzedaży czy też zakupu towaru i usług na rynkach zagranicznych zmuszone są do ponoszenia dodatkowego ryzyka, którym jest ryzyko związane z wahaniami na rynku walutowym. Racjonalne zarządzanie ryzykiem kursowym przy użyciu instrumentów pochodnych (tj. kontraktu forward, futures, swap oraz opcje walutowe) jest w stanie zabezpieczyć przedsiębiorstwa przed znaczącymi stratami. Poprzez zastosowanie modelu zarządzania ryzykiem walutowym przy użyciu opcji walutowych, przedsiębiorstwo importujące towar z Chin a następnie sprzedające ten produkt na rynek Europy Zachodniej może całkowicie zniwelować wpływ niekorzystnych zmian na rynku walutowym.

    The franchising consists in the close collaboration between two independent enterprises when the recipient of the system receives the franchise package in exchange for the appropriate payment. The scope of the business includes being legitimate to use a recognizable brand along with "know-how". Moreover, the franchisee is obliged to act in accordance with the bottom line of the business. However, the experienced franchisor offers ideas for the business and essentially supports the partner so that they can succeed. The rapid development of franchise connections has proved their effectiveness on the European and American markets. The franchising constitutes an efficient way to achieve success in the business where an essential condition is the harmonius collaboration between the recipient of the idea and the organizer of the system. The partnership will increase the probability of achieving the benefit with a simultaneous minimization of the risk associated with this network. The power of the franchise market is a cradle of this system - the United States where this kind of business is characterized by its completness with regards to the regulations and it is totally different from the system operating in European countries. As a consequence, it leads to the situation when taking actions on the European continent is burdened with a greater risk of potential conflicts between the parties of the system.

    The article discusses the themes of violence, aggression and cruelty in Robin Hood texts of various provenance. First, it focuses on the earliest ballads, the original source of the motif which has for various reasons been abandoned and neglected in later retellings until the second half of the twentieth century. The second part discusses the above mentioned themes in modern ‘texts’ – two novels by Angus Donald, Outlaw (2009) and Holy Warrior (2010), as well as two film adaptations of the legend, one by John Irvin (1991) and the other by Ridley Scott (2010), both of which explore the medieval origins of the story in a classic Hollywood frame. The paper analyses the above mentioned themes in the context of legal authority, presenting Robin as the ultimate agent of justice. It also disputes the authors’ use of the coercion mechanism as the factor influencing the outlaw’s distinctions between right and wrong.
