- The drug (diphosphate 7-chlor-4-/4-diethylamine-1-methylbutyl/chinoline) was applied in 14 cases of lambliosis; it was administered 3 times dayly in the amount of one 0.25 g tablet over 3 days. The control examinations of the duodenal content and feces made on the first or second day after the completion of the therapy showed in 3 cases the presence of L. intestinalis in the duodenal content. In four persons, the follow-up examinations were performed 1 month after treatment; in two of them L. intestinalis was discovered in the duodenal content. It is believed that the applicability of Arechin (Polfa) in lambliosis requires further studies to establish the appropriate methods of treatment with this drug.
