Opis:
We discuss the permanence of strong liftings under the formation of projective limits. The results are based on an appropriate consistency condition of the liftings with the projective system called "self-consistency", which is fulfilled in many situations. In addition, we study the relationship of self-consistency and completion regularity as well as projective limits of lifting topologies.

Opis:
Given two measure spaces equipped with liftings or densities (complete if liftings are considered) the existence of product liftings and densities with lifting invariant or density invariant sections is investigated. It is proved that if one of the marginal liftings is admissibly generated (a subclass of consistent liftings), then one can always find a product lifting which has the property that all sections determined by one of the marginal spaces are lifting invariant (Theorem 2.13). For a large class of measures Theorem 2.13 is the best possible (Theorem 4.3). When densities are considered, then one can always have a product density with measurable sections, but in the case of non-atomic complete marginal measures there exists no product density with all sections being density invariant. The results are then applied to stochastic processes.

Opis:
The improvement of product quality as well as the increase of production efficiency is inevitable in modern manufacturing processes. In this regard an increased cutting speed causes dangerous process situations in respect to operator safety and machine damage. In addition to that wood working machines generally do not use process monitoring systems, e. g. tool breakage monitoring. The aim of this project was the development of a process monitoring system to increase safety in wood working processes. Therefore, the Institute of Machine Tools and Production Technology (IWF) and the Fraunhofer-Institute of Surface Engineering and Thin Films (FhG IST) developed a sensor-integrated tool holder, which is able to detect clamping forces and unbalances during the process. The hollow shank taper 'HSK-63-F' was chosen as tool holder as it is used in the majority of applications in wood working processes. The clamping and balance conditions are measured by an embedded piezo-resistive thin film sensor at the planar contact surface. To ensure a contact-free signal transmission a telemetric system was used. The interaction between this monitoring system and the machine control automatically activates an emergency stop. Hence, a system was developed which significantly increases the process safety during the run-up and the idle speed phase of the spindle.

Opis:
Erosion processes can strongly influence the dissipation of glyphosate and aminomethylphosphonic acid applied with Roundup Max in agricultural soils; in addition, the soil structure state shortly before erosive precipitations fall can be a key parameter for the distribution of glyphosate and its metabolite. Field rain simulation experiments showed that severe erosion processes immediately after application of Roundup Max can lead to serious unexpected glyphosate loss even in soils with a high presumed adsorption like the Cambisols, if their structure is unfavourable. In one of the no-tillage-plot of the Cambisol, up to 47% of the applied glyphosate amount was dissipated with surface run-off. Moreover, at the Chernozem site with high erosion risk and lower adsorption potential, glyphosate could be found in collected percolation water transported far outside the 2x2 m experimental plots. Traces of glyphosate were found also outside the treated agricultural fields.
