Opis:: In the analysis of Croatian political poetry, although the article speaks only about texts on the subject of Ante Pavelić, Josip Broz - Tito and Franjo Tuđman, I also refer to all those who have written or are still writing sycophant texts, somewhere on the margins of good taste and obsequious poems. Works about the mentioned historical figures are just a name, a sign of the ideology represented by: fascism, socialism, nationalism (spiritual renewal). The analysis comprises the following topics: apotheosis, mythological narratives, government and social authority, revisionism. The name-induced conflict on the social scene is purely symbolic and future-oriented, but also deals with values that will determine the re/presentation of the Republic of Croatia.

Opis:: The article describes different ways of depicting Josip Broz Tito in poems which embody socialistic values. The notion of the Government relies on the idea of the abscence, and the exact abscence requires the image in order to be effective. This is the key role of poetry, which conveyed the constructs of both individual and social illusion.

Opis:: The article discusses the relationship between A.G. Matoš and the city of Rijeka, which can be seen in his work „Oko Rijeke”. The focus of the analysis is in the ideology by which the discourse subject observes the city. From the viewpoint of patriotic ideology, the subject comments on the colonialist relations that occur at the time in Rijeka, but his idealization of patriotic culture, as opposed to „negative” historic, landscape and political status of the city, impede his ability to give an accurate insight. Therefore, his work is inclined to be more political than literary.

Opis:: In the article, from different linguistic and literary theoretical perspectives, parodic function of anaphora is analyzed on samples of Croatian contemporary poetry. The aim is to present how a poem, especially one that is not from the contemporary lyric collection, is not a realization of „mythic time”, but in its rhythms and structures, where repetition is condition sine qua non of lyricism, it keeps a trace, a memory of the imaginary, of the myth which in speech revives what is hidden and suppressed.
