Opis:
In this paper, the design of the machine rotary table with a kinematic worm gearing is research. A threedimensional model of the rotary table assembly structure and the stress-strain state of the worm by the finite element method are researched. Optimization of the worm gearing design with a helicoidally worm as a multivariate problem of optimizing the total minimum length of contact lines in a worm engagement is presented. A feature of this article is the search for such a combination of worm gear input parameters that optimize the characteristics of contact lines by the criterion of minimum contact stresses. As a limiting factor for the criterion of contact length, the coefficient of oscillation within a certain average value obtained experimentally is taken. The nature of the extremal function of the contact length depending on the values of the variable’s derivative reflecting the influence of the number of worm threads and gear ratio is investigated. The effect of the shifting coefficient with the optimal search for the maximum contact length within the standard values of the worm diameter coefficient is shown. An algorithm and an analytical form for the development of a more advanced worm gearing with increased efficiency are proposed.

Opis:
The presented work is devoted to the improvement of spur gears of the reduction drive for metal-cutting machines according to the criterion of load capacity. A feature of this article is the creation of such a constructive solution, which is aimed at finding a compromise between reducing contact loads in the engagement zone and increasing the complexity and labour intensity of the manufacturing gears process. A procedure for accelerated creation of 3D models of a gear drive and its components using the specialized software application “Shafts and Mechanical Transmissions-3D” in the environment of integrated CAD system KOMPAS-3D is proposed. A study of a new cylindrical gear transmission design with a longitudinal generatrix of axoids, confirmed by the corresponding patent solution is realized. A calculation form for the practical design and manufacture of a new design cylindrical gear is proposed.

Opis:
The presented work is devoted to the search for a new design of the toothed belt transmission for the drive of metal-cutting machines. The main constructive solution underlying the modernization of the existing transmission is associated with a change in the shape of the toothed belt teeth pulley to increase durability. The authors propose to consider the effectiveness of the design decisions made through the prism of increasing the load capacity of the toothed belt associated with an increase in the contact length of the arched shape teeth and the reduction of additional friction losses of the belt flanks along the flanges at the pulleys end surfaces designed to restrain the belt from transverse sliding from the pulleys. The authors conclude that a comparative analysis of typical and modernized structures must be based on the postulates of contact areas belt and pulley equality and the belt cross-sectional areas. The procedure of three-dimensional modelling of elements and assemblies of a toothed belt drive for a drill-milling-boring machine type is considered as a basis for a comprehensive further study of their effectiveness and efficiency. Particular attention is paid to the parameterization toolkit in CAD “APM WinMachine”, the construction of algorithms and programs for creating unified toothed belt transmission components taking into account the variable design. The conceptual moment of the study is the proposed procedure for creating a specialized database of parametric design solutions.

In this paper, the mechanism of a slotting spindle head for the implementation of rectilinear motion based on a rack and pinion is considered. A three-dimensional modeling procedure of the slotting head elements for a multioperational machine tool of the drilling-milling-boring type has been carried out. 3D models of the rack and pinion were built in the integrated CAD KOMPAS using its built-in geometric core. An assessment of the stress-strain state in the engagement zone is given using the finite element method. The concept of increasing the load capacity due to the proposed version of the teeth envelope surface with curved axoids is analyzed. An analytical apparatus for determining the basic design parameters of a rack and pinion transmission modified version is proposed. The calculation of the geometric parameters for the end profile of the gearing teeth is experimentally realized, taking into account the found value of the disk milling cutter diameter for teeth cutting by the copying method.
