- The article presents the author’s concept of modeling the entity’s security in quantified qualitative and quantitative categories. At the beginning, an operator formula for security testing was presented, containing three basic arguments: the positive potential of security construction, the negative potential of security destruction, and the random risk of threat transformation. Due to the great universality of these categories, selected definitions and appropriate analytical formulas have been provided for each of them. Individual potential attributes have been decomposed into sets of diagnostic features for which quantified qualitative and quantitative measures have been proposed, which are the basis for establishing synthetic potential indicators. In accordance with the adopted calculation formula, the isolated potential categories and their diagnostic features were used to build synthetic qualitative and quantitative indicators that evaluate the independent variables of the potential formula. The hierarchical aggregation of individual partial values allowed for the derivation of a synthetic measure of the security of a given entity.
