    Opis:
    The paper discusses issues of taking different perspectives and attributing mental states. The main focus is on the criteria of their adequate ascription. Taking another’s perspective and simulation theory are taken into consideration. The paper considers the results of research on the development of the ability to differentiate perspectives and disorders of this ability in borderline personality disorder. The ability to differentiate one’s own and others’ mental states has been presented as an aspect of social cognition that enables adequate mentalization, by accepting the presence of various perspectives and the possibility of the coexistence of various representations of reality.

    Przedmiotem rozważań jest koncepcja self-blindness. Autorka definiuje ją przez eksperyment myślowy przedstawiający sytuację, w której osoba pomimo zachowania zdolności poznawczych i racjonalności nie ma bezpośredniego dostępu do własnych przekonań. Przywołuje również uporządkowane przez siebie argumenty przeczące możliwości istnienia takiej sytuacji. Pod koniec artykułu stara się wskazać wartościowe wnioski i drogi dalszych rozważań bazujące na tej koncepcji – dotyczące mechanizmów dostępu do przekonań oraz ich natury.

    Anomalous experience – a key for explanation of process of delusions’ formation?The aim of this article is a problem of anomalies which occur in experience of delusional patients. This problem is mentioned in cognitive theories of delusions. The author characterizes such theories, but concentrates on bottom-up theories which treat delusion as a rational answer to anomalous experience. She suggests that they are insufficient for making an explanation of delusions. She tries to emphasize some elements of such theories which can be helpful in explaining and understanding the phenomenon of delusions.

    This article considers triadic view of human, based on Hebraic anthropology. At the begging, there are presented monistic and dualistic anthropologies – ancient, medieval and contemporary. Then, they are contrasted with triadic anthropology, which suits better to achievements of contemporary psychology.     Art(ifice) of Mind. Why Cognitive Scientists Should Consider Art?Th e aim of this article is to present a cognitive approach towards art – from evolutional and neurobiological points of view. Th ere are described some interpretations of art: as a special kind of perception, as an adaptation and as the result of brain activity. Th is article is based on the work of Allan Snyder, Geoff rey Miller, Semir Zeki, John Tooby & Leda Cosmides. Th e core of this article is a neuroaestetics and its future implications for understanding art and creative  processes. Th ere will be also drawn some conclusions concerning an impact of sciences of art, that can be useful for mind sciences – as a multidimentional product of the brain, art can lead to better understanding of cognitive processes. Art is no longer treated (as it was in the past) as an anomaly – as a by-product of evolution. It is a way of expression of diff erent human abilities, which can serve both his and his descendants’ life. In this sense, art became something more precious than it was before. It is not only a unique creation of human, but also a key for understanding both artists and perceivers of a masterpieces.
