    Artykuł podejmuje problematykę określenia parametrów sieci wentylacyjnej Kopalni X dla przyszłego modelu docelowego jej funkcjonowania, w którym po zakończeniu etapu likwidacji zbędnej infrastruktury kopalnia będzie pełnić rolę centralnej pompowni wód dołowych dla wszystkich kopalń Niecki Bytomskiej. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki pomiarów parametrów aktualnej sieci wentylacyjnej Kopalni X oraz za pomocą programu AERO-2014D firmy POK „Zachód” Spółka z o.o. symulację parametrów jej sieci w modelu docelowym po likwidacji szybu „Witczak”. Uzyskane wyniki pozwoliły określić działania techniczne jakie należy podjąć aby zagwarantować stabilność sieci wentylacyjnej w przyszłym modelu docelowym kopalni X.
    The article deals with the issue of determining the parameters of the ventilation network of the Mine X for the future model of its target operation, in which after completion of the phase of unnecessary infrastructure liquidation will act as a central pumping station for all mines of the Bytom Basin. The article presents the results of measurements of the parameters of the current ventilation network of Mine X and with the help of the AERO-2014D program of the POK "Zachód" Spółka z o.o. simulation of its network parameters in the target model after the liquidation of the "Witczak" shaft. The obtained results allowed to determine the technical measures to be taken to ensure the stability of the ventilation network in the future target model of the X mine.

    A comprehensive scientific approach will facilitate rationalization processes and minimization of mine liquidation costs. The study, based on a statistical analysis of liquidation processes in 19 mining plants from 2015 to 2023, proposes a method for preliminary estimation of costs and time of potential liquidation of hard coal mines. The method can be used for preliminary estimation of mine liquidation costs and as a cost management tool. The method does not refer directly to the liquidation processes used in SRK S.A. therefore, it can also be used by any entity in mine liquidation process as a comparative tool for detailed and multi-criteria estimation of the costs of planned mine liquidation.

    The liquidation of the mine is the last and natural stage of mining activity. The activities related to the revitalization and restructuring of hard coal mines are carried out by Spółka Restrukturyzacji Kopalń S.A. (SRK S.A.), as the legal successor of previous mining operations. The implementation of the mine liquidation process has not been the subject of scientific research so far aimed at rationalization and minimization of the costs incurred. Activities leading to the liquidation of the mining plants are the procedural nature, however, the mine liquidation is always a single case which has a result in diversifying the size of outlays. The support for the implementation of the process approach in the issue of mine liquidation in terms of rationalization and minimization of the costs incurred in SRK S.A. was to develop a method of managing the costs of liquidation processes with the software for evaluation of its size. The proposed method signals to the designer that the estimated cost of the process of liquidation of another mining plant deviates from the average values previously worked out by SRK S.A. The range of acceptable values results from the assumed coefficient of data variation.

    Od końca XX w. w polskim górnictwie prowadzone są działania restrukturyzacyjne dostosowujące branżę do funkcjonowania w warunkach gospodarki rynkowej. Zmiany zachodzące w otoczeniu górnictwa powodują zainteresowanie stosowaniem koncepcji zarządzania procesami w prowadzonej działalności. Realizacja procesów likwidacji kopalń nie była dotychczas przedmiotem badań naukowych mających na celu określenie zasad racjonalizacji i minimalizacji ponoszonych kosztów. W publikacji przedstawiono wyniki badań ukierunkowanych na wskazanie podstawowych obszarów i problemów badawczych, których rozwiązanie umożliwi opracowanie modelu systemu zarządzania procesami dostosowanego do specyfiki likwidacji kopalń.
    Since the end of the 20th century, restructuring measures have been carried out in the Polish mining industry to adjust the industry to the market economy. Changes which are taking place in the mining environment cause interest in applying the concept of the process management in the conducted activity. The implementation of the mine liquidation processes has not been the subject of scientific research yet aimed at defining the principles of rationalizing and minimizing the costs which incurred. The publication presents the results of research focused on identifying basic research areas and problems, which the solution will enable to develop a process of management system model adapted to the specificity of the mine liquidation.

    Ze względu na zmieniające się uwarunkowania polityczne, ekonomiczne i prawne należy rozważyć zasadność powrotu do eksploatacji zaniechanych zasobów węgla kamiennego. Ocena możliwości zagospodarowania zasobów węgla w złożach kopalń zlikwidowanych nie była dotychczas przedmiotem szerszych badań naukowych. W badaniach przeprowadzono analizę statystyczną dostępnych lokalizacji potencjalnie możliwych do wykorzystania zasobów. Zaproponowano metodę oceny możliwości ich zagospodarowania. Metoda w prosty sposób sugeruje poziom atrakcyjności powrotu do eksploatacji zaniechanych zasobów. Uzyskana informacja może być stosowana jako punkt odniesienia do szczegółowej i wielokryterialnej ich oceny, po której decydent podejmuje ostateczna decyzję. Układ ocen cząstkowych metody jest dostosowany do kopalń likwidowanych, ale po pewnych modyfikacjach metoda może być zastosowany także przez inny podmiot prowadzący wydobycie.
    Due to the changing political, economic and legal conditions, it is worth to consider the return of the exploitation of abandoned hard coal resources. The assessment of the possibility of coal resources management in the deposits of liquidated mines has not been the subject of extensive scientific research so far. The study carried out a statistical analysis of the available locations for potentially usable resources. A method of the possibility assessment of their development was proposed. The method simply suggests the level of attractiveness of the exploitation of abandoned resources return. The obtained information can be used as a reference point for a detailed and multi-criteria evaluation and enables the decision maker to make the final decision. The system of the partial assessment method is adapted for liquidated mines, but after some modifications, the method can be also used by another mining entity.

    Mining plants liquidatingtheunnecessary objects, especially shafts, encounter difficulties related mainly to the selectionof appropriate technology. In this material, we present solutions fortwo more difficult cases. The first consists in liquidating the shaft without making dams and maintaining the water permeability of the backfilling(Głowacki shaft), while the second one is the liquidation of the shaft, leaving theladder compartment, pipelines and with the so-called artificial bottom which isin the shaft (Jas II shaft).
