Let A be a finite dimensional algebra over an algebraically closed field, and denote by T(A) (respectively, Â) the trivial extension of A by its minimal injective cogenerator bimodule (respectively, the repetitive algebra of A). We characterise the algebras A such that  is tame and exhaustive, that is, the push-down functor mod  → mod T(A) associated with the covering functor  → T(A)\nsimto Â/(ν_A)$ is dense. We show that, if  is tame and exhaustive, then A is simply connected if and only if A is not an iterated tilted algebra of type $Â_m$. Then we prove that  is tame and exhaustive if and only if A is tilting-cotilting equivalent to an algebra which is either hereditary of Dynkin or Euclidean type or is tubular canonical.

An artin algebra A over a commutative artin ring R is called quasitilted if gl.dim A ≤ 2 and for each indecomposable finitely generated A-module M we have pd M ≤ 1 or id M ≤ 1. In [11] several characterizations of quasitilted algebras were proven. We investigate the structure and homological properties of connected components in the Auslander-Reiten quiver $Γ_A$ of a quasitilted algebra A.

Analiza obecnego występowania i zróżnicowania miąższości utworów ewaporatowych (siarczanowych i chlorkowych) górnego permu (cechsztyn) na obszarze centralnej części monokliny przedsudeckiej, bazująca na danych z 635 archiwalnych otworów wiertniczych, umożliwiła przedstawienie obrazu przypuszczalnej paleogeografii basenów siarczanowych i chlorkowych w przypadku niektórych ewaporatowych wydzieleń litostratygraficznych kolejnych czterech cyklotemów. Utwory siarczanowe i chlorkowe cyklotemów PZ1 i PZ3 oraz siarczany cyklotemu PZ2 (anhydryt podstawowy [A2]) powstały w zbiornikach o wyraźnie zróżnicowanej batymetrii, ze strefami płytszymi (bariera i płycizny) i głębszymi (baseny). Akumulacja tych osadów następowała według schematu występującego w basenie typu „wypełnieniowego”, w którym na etapie depozycji soli chlorki wypełniają głównie obniżenia dna wcześniejszego zróżnicowanego batymetrycznie zbiornika siarczanowego, zaakcentowane różnym tempem osadzania siarczanów (szybszym na płycinach i wolniejszym w basenach). Lokalne występowanie pozostałych ewaporatów cyklotemów PZ2 i PZ4 nie pozwala otworzyć paleogeografii ich zbiorników depozycji. Omówiono też wykształcenie wydzieleń ewaporatowych, wykorzystując dane z terenów sąsiadujących z obszarem badań w sytuacji braku miejscowego materiału rdzeniowego.Tektonika dysjunktywna (sieci uskoków i dwa rowy tektoniczne) w różnym stopniu przemodelowała pierwotne rozmieszczenie ewaporatów i spowodowała ich lokalny wzrost miąższości w strefach przyuskokowych.
Analysis of recent extension and thickness of Upper Permian (Zechstein) evaporites (sulphates and chlorides) in the area of central Fore-Sudetic Monocline, based on data from 635 archive boreholes, enabled to reconstruct the possible palaeographic images of both sulphate and chloride basins, represented some evaporitic lithostratigraphic units of four Zechstein cyclothemes. Sulphates and chlorides of PZ1 and PZ3 cyclothemes as well as sulphates of PZ2 cyclotheme (Basal Anhydrite [A2] unit) have deposited in the basins with distinctly varied bathymetry, where existed the shallow (barrier and shoals) and the deeper (basins) parts. Their accumulation realized the depositional scheme of the „infill” type of evaporitic basin, after which dominant infill by chlorides took place in the deeps of former sulphate basin with differentiated bathymetry accentuated by other accumulate rate of sulphates (a higher on bottom shoals and slower in the deeps). Local occurrence of other evaporate units of PZ2 and PZ4 cyclothemes eliminated creation of similar palaeogeographic images for their depositional basins. Commented evaporite units were characterized by data representative for their age equivalents drilled in the nearest areas because of extremely rare core data form the study area. Disjunctive tectonics (fault systems and two tectonic grabens) modified in a different rate the primary extent of studied evaporites as well as it was responsible for their local thickness increase in the near-fault zones.

The use of certain drugs, as well as alcohol consumption may decrease the psycho-physical effectiveness of drivers, contributing to an increased risk of an accident. There are several classes of drugs that may be the cause of such adverse reactions, among which the most important are anxiolytics, opioid analgesics and antihistamines. They can cause sedation, tiredness and sleepiness, which consequently lead to a reduction in mental and physical ability of the drivers. This paper discusses the issue of medicines and their potential impact on the safety of traffic.
Stosowanie niektórych leków, może podobnie jak spożywanie alkoholu wpływać na zmniejszenie sprawności psychofizycznej kierowców, przyczyniając się do zwiększenia ryzyka wypadku komunikacyjnego. Istnieje wiele leków, które mogą być przyczyną działań niepożądanych zmniejszających sprawność psychofizyczną, a spośród nich najważniejsze znaczenie mają anksjolityki, analgetyki opioidowe oraz leki przeciwhistaminowe. Mogą one być przyczyną wystąpienia uspokojenia, uczucia zmęczenia oraz senności, co w oczywisty sposób wpływa na zmniejszenie sprawności psychofi zycznej kierującego pojazdami mechanicznymi. Artykuł opisuje wpływ leków na bezpieczeństwo ruchu drogowego.

In recent years, the question of population migration has become more present in the Polish social and political life. One of the examples of this phenomenon was the set of events at the turn of 2021 and 2022, when thousands of people tried to illegally cross the Polish-Belarusian border and enter the Republic of Poland. The state reacted by reinforcing border services, deploying soldiers and police officers to serve on the border. The circumstances of the deployment, conditions of service and related impressions of participants became the subject of research, the results of which are presented in this article. Most of our respondents were deployed to the border by order and were scarcely or completely unprepared to the service. The social and living conditions during service are evaluated as rather good, although leisure activities were poorly organised. Among the feelings and impressions from service, the most highly appreciated were the team atmosphere and cooperation and the attitude of superiors. Nevertheless, what prevails is a moderate dissatisfaction with the job, with a vast majority of participants unwilling to repeat such service.
