    In this paper, the ballet of Igor Stravinsky The Rite of Spring is interpreted from the perspective of Gaston Bachelard’s philosophical thought. Bachelard’s systematic psychoanalysis of literary images in The Psychoanalysis of Fire is applied to the interpretation of musical images in The Rite of Spring. Bearing in mind that rhythm is a key characteristic of Stravinsky’s composition, the paper analyses the immediate correspondences between Stravinsky’s and Bachelard’s perception and interpretation of rhythm in the works under consideration.

    This paper examines the relationship between Bachelard’s (Gaston Bachelard, 1884–1962) philosophical comprehension of the water element, Debussy’s (Claude Debussy, 1862–1918) musical interpretation of the water phenomenon and Thaulow’s (Frits Thaulow, 1847–1906) intellection of the same element in painting. More precisely, having in mind the snow as one of aggregate states of water, I will explore via examples of Bachelard’s study on water and dreams – L’eau et les reves: essai sur l’imagination de la matiere (Water and Dreams. An Essay on the Imagination of Matter, 1942), Debussy’s composition Des pas sur la neige (Footprints in the snow, Book I, 1909–1910) and Thaulow’s piece La Riviere Simoa en hiver (Winter at Simoa river – from a series of images of the Simoa river, unknown date), the reciprocal relationship of their artistic perception, as well as their interpretation of the water phenomenon. These three authors have devoted a significant “expanse” of their oeuvres to their interpretation of the phenomenon of water. In the mentioned “expanse”, their creative interpretations encounter, intertwine, and interrelate. In other words, in this “expanse” of interpretation of the water psyche, we can detect the correspondence between Bachelard’s, Debussy’s and Thaluow’s poetics of the water vastness. Therefore, through the analytical and comparative approaches, my aim is to emphasize the correspondence among Bachelard’s (philosophical), Debussy’s (musical) and Thaulow’s (painterly) representations of the water element and to demonstrate which compositional and expressive methods Debussy employs to embody his understanding of the phenomenon in question.
    W niniejszym artykule zostanie omówiony związek między filozoficznym pojmowaniem żywiołu wody Bachelarda (Gaston Bachelard, 1884–1962), muzyczną interpretacją wodnego fenomenu autorstwa Debussy’ego (Claude Debussy, 1862–1918) oraz sposobem, w jaki postrzega go w malarstwie Thaulow (Frits Thaulow, 1847–1906). Doprecyzowując, zanalizuję relacje pomiędzy artystyczną percepcją a interpretacjami zjawiska wody na przykładzie studium Bachelarda dotyczącego wody i marzeń L'eau et les reves: essai sur l'imagination de la matiere (Woda i marzenia. Studium wyobrażeń o materii, 1942), kompozycji Debussy’ego Des pas sur la neige (Ślady na śniegu, Zeszyt I, 1909–1910) oraz dzieła Thaulowa La Riviere Simoa en hiver (Zima na rzece Simoa – obraz wchodzący w skład serii przedstawień rzeki Simoa, nieznany czas powstania), nie zapominając przy tym, że śnieg jest jednym ze stanów skupienia wody. Wyżej wymienieni autorzy poświęcili znaczący obszar swojej twórczości zjawisku wody. Na wspomnianym polu ich twórcze interpretacje spotykają się, przeplatają i oddziałują na siebie wzajemnie. Innymi słowy, w przestrzeni interpretacji „ducha wody” możemy dostrzec powiązania między „poetyką bezmiaru wody” Bachelarda, Debussy’ego i Thaulowa. W związku z tym moim celem będzie zaakcentowanie pokrewieństwa w pojmowaniu żywiołu wody przez Bachelarda (ujęcie filozoficzne), Debussy’ego (muzyczne) i Thaulowa (malarskie), a także pokazanie technik kompozytorskich i środków wyrazu, których użył Debussy, by ukazać swoje pojmowanie tego zjawiska.

    The roots of today's education system stem from one of the most significant pedagogists and thinkers, John Amos Comenius (1592-1670). His entire comprehensive and systematic work represents a turning point, not only in the field of the development of pedagogy, as a science and its disciplines, but also in the field of the development of human thought in general. After a brief review of life and work of John Amos Comenius, the paper presents the basic concepts of pedagogical theory through the chapters they cover – his reforming and educational mission, contribution to the establishment and development of didactics and methodology of pedagogy, contribution to school, preschool and family pedagogy. Of particular importance is the chapter that deals with pansophism as an ideological concept of universal wisdom and pedagogy, because the central theme of the paper is focused on the relations-hip between pansophism and his overall pedagogical work. The aim of this paper is to theoretically research the connection between these problems, as well as to understand their broader implications and current scientific achievements. The paper uses the method of theoretical and historical analysis with the technique of content analysis of available and relevant historical and pedagogical sources and documents. The concluding remarks point to the importance of Comenius as a reformer important for the overall development of pedagogy as a science. His pansophism is permanently imprinted as a seal with a reflexive echo and repercussions on all later occurrences in the field of teaching and pedagogical educational activities. The ideas of John Amos Comenius that are practically tested and attested, carry a special strength and vitality even after three centuries, which makes him one of the true pedagogical classics.

    Koreni današnjeg sistema obrazovanja potiču od jednog od najznačajnijih pedagoga i mislilaca, Jana Amosa Komenskog (1592-1670). Celokupan njegov sveobuhvatni i sistematični rad predstavlja prekretnicu, ne samo na polju razvoja pedagogije, kao nauke i njenih disciplina, već i na polju razvoja ljudske misli uopšte. U radu su nakon kratkog osvrta na život i stvaralaštvo Jana Amosa Komenskog, predstavljeni bazični koncepti pedagoške teorije kroz poglavlja koja obrađuju – njegovu reformatorsku i prosvetiteljsku misiju, doprinos utemeljenju i razvoju didaktike i metodologije pedagogije, doprinos razvoju školske, predškolske, porodične pedagogije. Od posebne je važnosti poglavlje koje se bavi pansofijom kao idejnim konceptom sveopšte mudrosti i pedagogijom, jer je centralna tematika rada upravo fokusirana na odnos pansofizma i njegovog ukupnog pedagoškog rada. Cilj rada je teorijsko istraživanje povezanosti ovih problema, kao i razumijevanje njihovih širih implikacija i aktuelnih naučnih dometa. U radu je korišćena metoda teorijske i istorijske analize sa tehnikom analize sadržaja dostupnih i relevantnih istorijskih i pedagoških izvora i dokumenata. U zaključnim razmatranjima se ukazuje na značaj Komenskog kao reformatora značajnog za sveukupan razvoj pedagogije kao nauke. Njegov pansofizam je trajno utisnut kao pečat sa refleksivnim odjekom i reperkusijama na sva kasnija dešavanja u oblasti nastave i pedagoške vaspitno-obrazovne delatnosti. Ideje Jana Amosa Komenskog, praktično proveravane i osvedočavane, nose posebnu snagu i životvornost i posle tri veka, što ga svrstava u red istinskih pedagoških klasika.

    Looking for a sustainable solution for the development of the regional area, the City of Pirot, Republic of Serbia and Free Zone Pirot company established a public private partnership for the purpose of developing the Logistic Centre Pirot. This consists of a bimodal transport terminal together with an industrial park which will enable the attraction of new investors, decrease the level of environmental pollution, increase substitution of fossil fuels, decrease transportation prices and connect to the multimodal transport network.
    Szukając zrównoważonego rozwiązania dla rozwoju lokalnego obszaru, miasto Pirot, Republika Serbii oraz firma Wolna Strefa Pirot stworzyły publiczno-prywatne partnerstwo w celu rozwoju Centrum Logistycznego w Pirot. Obejmuje to bimodalny terminal transportowy z parkiem przemysłowym, który umożliwia przyciąganie nowych inwestorów, zmniejsza poziom zanieczyszczenia środowiska, zwiększa zastępowanie paliw kopalnianych, redukuje koszty transportu i łączy się z multimodalną siecią transportową.

    This paper presents the optimized fuzzy logic controller (FLC) with on-line tuning of scaling factors for vibration control of thin-walled composite beams. In order to improve the performances and robustness properties of FLC, the proposed method adjusts the input scaling factors via peak observer. The membership functions of the proposed FLC are optimized using the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. The composite beam is modeled by the third-order shear deformation theory (TSDT) and discretized by using the finite element method. Several numerical examples are provided for the cantilever composite beam under a periodic excitation and periodic excitation with an unexpected disturbance. In order to present the efficiency of the proposed controller, the obtained results are compared with the corresponding results in the cases of the optimized FLCs with constant scaling factors and LQR optimal control strategy.
    W pracy zaprezentowano zoptymalizowany sterownik z logiką rozmytą (FLC) o bieżąco dostrajanych współczynnikach skalowania zastosowany do redukcji drgań cienkościennych belek kompozytowych. Dla poprawy efektywności i stabilności pracy sterownika zaproponowano dostrajanie współczynników skalowania na wejściu poprzez śledzenie wartości szczytowej sygnału. Funkcje przynależności sterownika FLC zoptymalizowano algorytmem roju cząstek (PSO). Rozważaną belkę kompozytową opisano modelem teorii odkształceń postaciowych trzeciego rzędu (TSDT) i zdyskretyzowano metodą elementów skończonych. Przedstawiono kilka przykładów belki wspornikowej poddanej wymuszeniu okresowemu z nieoczekiwanym zakłóceniem tego wymuszenia. W celu zeprezentowania efektywności analizowanego sterownika uzyskane wyniki porównano z istniejącymi rezultatami odpowiadającymi sterownikom FLC o stałych współczynnikach skalowania i zoptymalizowanej strategii sterowania wykorzystującej regulator liniowo-kwadratowy (LQR).

    This research paper presents a higher order isogeometric laminated composite plate finite element formulation. The isogeometric formulation is based on NURBS (non-uniform rational B-splines) basis functions of varying degree. Plate kinematics is based on the third order shear deformation theory (TSDT) of Reddy in order to avoid shear locking. Free vibration and the buckling response of laminated composite plates are obtained and efficiency of the method is considered. Numerical results with different element order are presented and the obtained results are compared to analytical and conventional numerical results as well as existing isogeometric plate finite elements.
