    An annotated bibliography of academic works in the field of Bulgarian studies published in Poland between 1947 and 2012The bibliography of Bulgarian studies includes publications by Polish and foreign authors published in Poland in the period 1947–2012. The main language of the works cited in the bibliography is Polish, a small portion (approx. 5%) is written in Bulgarian. The following bibliography is of a subject selective nature. It takes into account monographs – excluding continuous publications the inclusion of which would involve the planning of work over several years at least. The scope of the bibliography is limited to scientific publications which include studies on Bulgarian literature, Bulgarian cultural studies and research on Bulgarian history and society. Bibliografia adnotowana naukowych prac bułgarystycznych wydanych w Polsce w latach 1947–2012Bibliografia bułgarystyczna obejmuje publikacje autorów polskich i zagranicznych, wydane na terenie Polski w latach 1947–2012. Podstawowym językiem przywołanych w bibliografii prac jest polski, niewielka część (ok. 5%) została napisana w języku bułgarskim. Poniższa bibliografia ma charakter przedmiotowy selektywny. Uwzględnia wydawnictwa zwarte – z pominięciem wydawnictw ciągłych, których umieszczenie wiązałoby się z pracą zaplanowaną na co najmniej kilka lat. Zakres bibliografii ograniczono do publikacji naukowych, które obejmują literaturoznawstwo bułgarskie, kulturoznawstwo bułgarskie, badania nad historią i społeczeństwem bułgarskim.

    Circus as parody of communism. Gargling with Tar by Jáchym TopolThis article deals with humanism in Jáchym Topol’s novel Gargling with Tar (Kloktat dehet, Prague, 2005). The Czech writer’s perspective is close to the concepts of German philosopher Peter Sloterdijk, who claims that the Romans were not only the authors of the idea of humanitas but also the inventors of bloody games such as circuses. In Topol’s novel, the circus is a holistic political project. The novel refers to the ideas developed in Russia in the 1920s, when a large number of circus theories and artistic manifestos were formulated. The circus was then officially recognised as the most important form of social entertainment (together with cinema) and it gained religious, aesthetic and political functions. By using the grotesque, fantasy and parody (Czechoslovakia as a giant circus), Topol’s novel creates an alternative narrative about the Prague Spring and “normalisation”. New meanings for notions such as progress, revolution and community are also revealed. Cyrk jako parodia komunizmu. Powieść Kloktat dehet Jáchyma TopolaArtykuł analizuje pojęcie humanizmu w powieści Kloktat dehet Jáchyma Topola (Praga 2005). Czeski pisarz jest bliski koncepcji Petera Sloterdijka, który pisał, że Rzymianie oprócz idei humanitas stworzyli także krwawe igrzyska – cyrki. W powieści Topola cyrk to projekt polityczny, w którym widać wyraźne nawiązania autora do koncepcji formułowanych od lat dwudziestych XX wieku w Związku Radzieckim, kiedy cyrk (obok kina) propagowano jako najważniejszą gałąź sztuki łączącą wszystkie grupy społeczne. Wykorzystując groteskę, fantastykę, ale przede wszystkim parodię (figura wielkiego cyrku socjalistycznego) autor Kloktat dehet buduje alternatywną historię Praskiej Wiosny i czechosłowackiej „normalizacji”, w której nowych sensów nabierają pojęcia postępu, rewolucji i wspólnoty.

    Opis:
    Purpose: The article concerns the phenomenon of mobbing in the workplace. Possible causes and consequences of mobbing are described, as well as the specificity of mobbing behavior. Design/methodology/approach: In order to illustrate the phenomenon of mobbing, terminological arrangements are first made. Mobbing is analyzed through the prism of both its causes and the mechanism of its emergence, as well as the anticipated consequences of its health, social and economic effects. In order to draw a picture of mobbing in Polish companies, an in-house study was conducted. They were of a pilot nature, and only selected results are included in the paper. The survey was conducted in 2021 among employees of West Pomeranian Companies. The research method used to achieve the stated goal was a diagnostic survey, while the research tool used within this method was a standardized interview questionnaire. The study also used secondary data taken from public statistics, thematic reports and academic research. Findings: Research was conducted to determine the nature of mobbing activities. Primary data indicate that these behaviors tend to increase, while the conducted research indicates that there may be some problems related to the lack of openness in talking about this type of behavior for fear of negative consequences. Originality/value: Mobbing is a phenomenon that relatively rarely becomes the subject of research. There are many difficulties, both methodological and technical, in assessing this phenomenon. The paper analyzes this phenomenon in the context of behaviors encountered in Polish companies bearing the hallmarks of mobbing. The article is addressed to employees in order to make them aware of the dangers of mobbing at work, but also to managers in order to improve psychosocial factors in organizations.
