Opis:
Wings play a vital role in the design of micro aerial vehicles (MAV), in view of aerodynamic performance, maneuverability and hovering capabilities of the vehicles. The wings are generally classified as flapping, delta, swept, and so on. In this paper, the literature is reviewed regarding the diverse techniques utilized for the design, experimentation, analysis, simulation, and modeling of different types of wings. Among these types, this paper focuses on the design of delta wings. Accordingly, we review 60 relevant research papers and provide an analysis, based on their content. First, the paper presents the chronological review of the contributions relevant for the design of different types of wings. Subsequently, we focus on various materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, carbon fiber, etc., and on parameters such as Reynolds number, angle of attack, aspect ratio, etc., which are utilized for the design of wings. The paper also provides a detailed performance study regarding the contribution to the design of delta wing. Finally, we present various research issues, which can be useful for the researchers in accomplishing further research on the design of delta wings.

Opis:
Welding is a way of heating pieces of metal usingelectricity or flame so that they melt and stick together. There aremany kinds of welding processes, such as, for instance, MIG/MAGand MMA welding. However, such welding schemes require moreelectrodes during the process of welding. Hence, this paper intendsto analyse the alternative tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding tech-nology using Response Surface Methodology (RSM), and to identifythe effect of TIG welding process parameters on the weld bead pro-file of 15CDV6 high strength low alloy (HSLA) steel. Moreover, themethodology applied allows for identification of the optimal weld-ing conditions by means of multi-objective optimization using RSMto increase the depth of penetration (DOP) and reduce BW (beadwidth) and heat-affected zone (HAZ) width. The variables takenfor the model-based investigations are: welding current (Wc), torchspeed (Ts), gas flow rate (Gr), torch angle (Ta) and arc gap (Ag).Moreover, the responses taken are DOP, BW and HAZ width. Fur-ther, the results from the proposed model optimisation can be seenas highly beneficial for the rocket-motor hardware program, indus-tries and fabrication of pressure vessels, which are using 15CDV6steel.

In the present investigation, a comparative study was made on the effect of exogenous addition of sodium chloride on net leaf photosynthesis (CO2 uptake) in Aegiceras corniculatum (L.) Blanco, a dicotyledonous mangrove species. The net leaf photosynthesis of A. corniculatum was modified in the presence of sodium chloride, it may be called a preferential halophyte. Salinity is one of the most significant environmental challenges also abiotic constraints limiting plant productivity. A. corniculatum could tolerate up to 800 mM sodium chloride concentrations. The net leaf photosynthesis rate was increased with increasing NaCl salinity up to 400 mM. This concentration was found to be the optimum salinity level for this species. In conclusion, it may be inferred that sodium chloride promoted the photosynthesis concentrations upto optimum level of 400 mM in Aegiceras corniculatum (L.) Blanco. beyond 400 mM NaCl decreased the CO2 uptake. The maximum photosynthetic obtained at 400 mM NaCl on the l20th day.
