Opis:
In the present paper we report on the observation and study of intense spontaneous THz emission from modulation-doped AlGaN/GaN heterostructure under conditions of heating of two-dimensional electron gas in lateral electric field. The experimental results are compared with the model of blackbody-like thermal emission of hot 2D electrons. Complementary transport measurements and theoretical simulation were carried out to determine the dependence of effective electron temperature on electric field. The role of non-equilibrium optical phonon accumulation is discussed.

Opis:
Task planning involves automating the creation of the routes for vessels with known coordinates in a confined space. The management of vessel release in a given area affects the time required for a vessel to complete its voyage, and maximizing vessel performance involves identifying the shortest route. A key issue in automating the generation of the optimal (shortest) routes is selecting the appropriate mathematical apparatus. This paper considers an optimization method based on a recursive algorithm using Bellman-Ford routing tasks for large dimensions. Unlike other optimization techniques, the proposed method enables the shortest path to be assessed in a network model with a complex topology, even if there are arcs with negative weights. The practical implementation of the modified Floyd algorithm was demonstrated using a sample automated build and using it to calculate a network model with a complex topology, using an iterative procedure for a program prepared in MATLAB. Implementation of the computer model is simple, and unlike existing models, it eliminates restrictions associated with the presence of negative weights and cycles on a network and automates search shortcuts in ground branch functional means in MATLAB. To confirm the accuracy of the obtained results, we performed an example calculation using the network. The proposed algorithm and recursive procedure are recommended for finding energy-efficient solutions during the management of mobile objects on waterways.

Opis:
Researches on the plasma jet source and injection of hydrogen plasma and neutral gas jets into the Globus-M spherical tokamak are presented. A novel source of dense plasma with high directed velocity is designed, constructed and investigated. This is a double stage system consisting of an intense source utilizing titanium-hydride grains for neutral gas production and a conventional pulsed coaxial accelerator. Optimization of the accelerator parameters, so as to achieve a maximum possible flow velocity with a limited discharge current and a reasonable length of the coaxial electrodes is performed. The calculations are compared with the experiment. A test bed is used for investigation of the intense plasma jet generated by a plasma gun. Plasma jet parameters, among them pressure distribution across the jet, flow velocity, plasma density etc., were measured. Plasma jets with densities of up to 1022 m 3, total numbers of accelerated particles (1 5) . 1019, and flow velocities of 50 100 km/s were successfully injected into the plasma column of the Globus-M tokamak. Interferometric and Thomson scattering measurements confirmed a deep jet penetration and a fast density rise (<0.5 ms) at all spatial points up to the radius r H 0.3a. The injection did not result in plasma degradation.

Opis:
Magnetostatic surface waves (MSSW) propagation in YIG films with "leaky" and "resonant" metasurfaces (MS) is studied. "Leaky" MS was fabricated by ion etching of the subwavelength periodic structure in YIG film surface while "resonant" MS was formed by placing the subwavelength periodic array of YIG stripes onto the plane YIG film. The effects of filtration and the dispersion properties of MSSW in such structures are discussed.
