    Artykuł dotyczy zagadnień polityki fiskalnej – konwergencji poziomu i struktury wydatków publicznych. Tematyka ta jest stosunkowo nowa, ponieważ pierwsza tego typu praca powstała w 1996 r. (P. Afxentiou i A. Serletis). Wyniki dotychczasowych badań empirycznych są niejednoznaczne. Celem badania własnego była empiryczna weryfikacja hipotezy o -konwergencji poziomu i struktury wydatków publicznych w 10 krajach tzw. nowej Unii Europejskiej w latach 1995–2020. Modelowanie ekonometryczne w obu przypadkach potwierdziło hipotezę.
    The article deals with fiscal policy issues – the convergence of the level and structure of public expenditures. The topic is relatively new because the first article on this subject was published in 1996 (P. Afxentiou and A. Serletis). The literature on the matter so far is inconclusive. The aim of the paper was an empirical test of  convergence hypothesis with respect to the 10 so called “new EU” countries in the 1995–2020 time frame. Econometric modelling has confirmed the hypothesis.

    Behawioralna teoria lokalizacji podkreśla duże znaczenie ograniczonej racjonalności i su-biektywnego postrzegania przestrzeni w wyborze lokalizacji działalności gospodarczej. W artykule omówiono kluczowe koncepcje z zakresu behawioralnej teorii lokalizacji. Zdaniem autorów, behawioralna teoria lokalizacji jest raczej komplementarna niż konkurencyjna w stosunku to podejścia neoklasycznego czy współczesnego, ponieważ pozwala wyjaśnić od-stępstwa decydentów od zachowań optymalizacyjnych.
    The behavioural location theory emphasises high importance of the limited rationality and the subjective perception of space in selecting of the location for a business activity. The article discusses key competencies from the scope of behavioural location theory. Ac-cording to the Authors, the behavioural location theory is rather complementary than competitive in relation to the neoclassical or modern approach, as it allows to explain the deviations of the decision-makers from the optimisation behaviour.

    Opis:
    The ski teacher works in different conditions than other teachers, even different from other physical education teachers. The difference arises due to the season of the year and the venue of the skiing lessons. Such factors as the natural environment, harsh winter conditions, a potential threat to students’ safety and very strong emotions have an impact on human behavior, which is especially strong on the didactic communication on the slopes. The main difficulties regard the level and way of mutual perception of information. In search of effective methods of communicating between students and ski instructor we were attracted by the information value of the tracks on the snow. Each time a skier goes down he leaves ski tracks on the snow, which largely characterize the skiing technique performed. The properties of this track – its depth, radius, or type are dependent on many factors – including pressure forces, speed or force of friction. Raising the student’s awareness that the track left by him on the snow is the effect of the operations performed – may be an effective way of communication. This assumption constitutes the basis of the research problem. How to improve the didactic communication structure in skiing? Can the snow tracks be the basis of efficient didactic communication? Teaching effectiveness largely depends on the efficiency of the process of communication between teacher and students. The paper contains discussion focused on understanding the effectiveness of teaching skiing on the basis of a practical method that takes into account the analysis of traces of skis on the snow. The presented material is the basis for development of teaching methods to be used in experimental research as an independent variable.

    Introduction. Head and neck haemangiomas occur quite rarely. These are benign lesions, often involving the pharynx and larynx. They almost always pose a diagnostic and therapeutic problem. Case description. This paper describes the case of an asymptomatic internal carotid artery aneurysm manifested by a throat tumour. A 78-year old woman with sudden deafness and vertigo was additionally diagnosed with a throat tumour. After radiological diagnosis of a haemangioma, the patient refused surgery. This article presents diagnostic methods and various types of treatments for head and neck haemangiomas. Attention was paid to the possibility of serious complications when deciding on surgical intervention of haemangiomas without a confirmed diagnosis. Conclusion. Suspicion of head and neck haemangiomas necessitates using all available diagnostic methods. The treatment plan should take into account the pace of progression, the patient’s age and co-morbid conditions. .
