Opis:
This paper’s objective is to design and optimize a force transducer to build a stationary dynamometer that can measure three axes of milling cutting force. To reduce interference error and increase sensitivity, the force transducer's Maltese cross-beam design was optimized. The force transducer's performance depends on three design parameters: the cross-rectangular beam's through-hole length and width, the compliant plate thickness, and the strain, stress, and stiffness of force transducer constructions calculated by ANSYS. The response surface method (RSM) estimates a desired second-order polynomial function for three geometric parameters based on sensitivity, interference error, safety factor, and stiffness. A stationary dynamometer prototype was made with four optimized force transducers and several piezoresistive strain sensors. The developed dynamometer has good linearity, repeatability, and hysteresis, as well as high sensitivities and low cross-sensitivity errors. The reference dynamometer's cutting force measurements were very close to those of the designed dynamometer in the validation test.

Opis:
The copy-move forgery detection (CMFD) begins with the preprocessing until the image is ready to process. Then, the image features are extracted using a feature-transform-based extraction called the scale-invariant feature transform (SIFT). The last step is features matching using Generalized 2 Nearest-Neighbor (G2NN) method with threshold values variation. The problem is what is the optimal threshold value and number of keypoints so that copy-move detection has the highest accuracy. The optimal threshold value and number of keypoints had determined so that the detection n has the highest accuracy. The research was carried out on images without noise and with Gaussian noise.

Opis:
The abundant availability of waste oil palm trunks is one of the potential fibers for new thermal insulation materials. While focusing on the manufacturing of thermal insulation materials, the main points to be considered are particle size, reinforcement fiber ratio, and press durations, besides binders type and temperature. This study aimed to optimize the manufacturing process of hybrid bio panels based on oil palm trunks as thermal insulation material. The response surface methodology (RSM), with a Box-Behnken Design (BBD), was used to model and optimize the manufacturing process variables. A total of 17 hybrid bio panels were in operation and the independent variables used were particle size, ramie ratio, and press duration. The dependent variables were water absorption, thickness swelling, MOR, and thermal conductivity. The hybrid bio panel obtained under the optimum conditions was characterized by thermogravimetric analysis to observe thermal stability. On the basis of analysis of variance and the contour plot, it was discovered that the interaction between particle size and ramie fiber ratio was a significant variable to optimize hybrid bio panel manufacture. The thermal resistance and modulus of rupture of hybrid bio panels also improved with higher particle size and ramie fiber ratio. The optimum manufacturing process was obtained at OPT particle size of 0.248 mm, ramie fiber ratio of 19.775, and press duration of 25 min. This condition produces a thermal conductivity of 0.079 W/mK, modulus of rupture of 17.702 MPa, water absorption of 54.428%, and thickness swelling of 21.974%. In addition, the hybrid bio panel resulted in thermal stability of 341 °C.
