Opis:
To study coal permeability evolution under the influence of mining actions, we conducted a sensitivity index test on permeability to determine the influence of axial and confining stresses on coal permeability. Loading and unloading tests were performed afterward, and the differences between loading and unloading paths in terms of strain and permeability were studied. A permeability evolution model was built in consideration of absorption swelling and effective stress during modeling. An effective stress calculation model was also built using axial and confining stresses. The calculation results of the two models were compared with experimental data. Results showed that permeability were more sensitive to confining stress than axial stress, and effective stress placed a large weight on confining stress. Large axial and radial deformations at peak strength were observed during unloading. In the unloading phase, the permeability of coal began to increase, and the increment was enhanced by large initial axial stress when confining stress was loaded. permeability sensitivity to axial and confining stresses were used to explain these permeability changes. The calculation results of the models fitted the experimental data well. Therefore, the proposed models can be used to calculate effective stress on the basis of axial and confining stresses and describe permeability change in coal under the influence of mining actions.

Opis:
A new moth lacewing Guithone bethouxi gen. et sp. nov., is described from the Middle Jurassic Jiulongshan Formation (Inner Mongolia, China). This taxon is characterized by robust body, head retracted under pronotum, and remarkable costal space (expanded basad, narrowed distad). Herein, we propose a detailed definition of the lineages of Ithonidae sensu lato (moth lacewings, giant lacewings, and montane lacewings) based on extant groups in order to clarify the systematics of fossil species within the taxon. The comparison shows that Guithone bethouxi gen. et sp. nov. unquestionably represents the earliest true moth lacewing, implying that lineage differentiations within Ithonidae sensu lato must have taken place before the Middle Jurassic. Furthermore the new genus possessing some particular venation characters, such as irrecurrent humeral veinlet and simplified crossveination in radial sector, represents an important intermediate group in the evolution of Ithonidae sensu lato.

Opis:
Kempyninae are a subfamily of osmylid lacewings whose extant representatives are restricted to the austral continents. Three new osmylids, Jurakempynus sinensis gen. et sp. nov., J. bellatulus gen. et sp. nov., and J. epunctatus gen. et sp. nov. are described from the Middle Jurassic Jiulongshan Formation of Daohugou Village, Inner Mongolia, China. The new genus Jurakempynus is assigned to the subfamily Kempyninae constituting its oldest known occurrence. It is allied to the Australian genus Kempynus, sharing two synapomorphies: extremely expanded MP space and distally forked MP2 in the hindwing. The occurrence of Jurakempynus gen. nov. in China (Northern Hemisphere) implies a much wider geographic range of the Mesozoic osmylid lacewings in comparison to their modern counterparts.
