Opis:
The mangrove adaptations in the environment are the majority essential for the sustainable survival, development and intertidal zones due to special ability of salt tolerance. Mangroves possess a general characteristic to tolerating high salinity of seawater. Notably, they normalize ion homeostasis below brackish stress by salt secretion also ultrafiltration and ion appropriation. The plants have development of complex, physiological and anatomical adaptations allowing survival in their high stress habitat. The mangrove should restrain with aeration effect of sun, storm, osmotic disproportion, high salinity, brackish oxygen lacking and water- logged soils. Although, the reaction of adaptations the majority obvious attribute be succulent vegetation with increase mesophyll area, broad cuticle and wax deposition on the epidermis. The anatomical distinctiveness are the foundation designed for their physiological alteration to soaring salt condition.

Opis:
The present review deals with parameters influencing the rice breakage during rice milling operations and the effect of rubber roll Sheller in rice husk removal process. The main objective of rice milling system is to remove the husk and bran layer to produce the white rice. In this process, rubber roll sheller is used to remove husk from the grains by friction process. If the rubber material is too soft, there may not be sufficient shear force to husk the paddy. Wear will be minimum for rubber material with high hardness but indeed it pronounce the breakage of rice. Hence, for efficient husking the rubber roll material should possess the balance of physico-mechanical properties. Rice breakage depends on several other parameters like the type of harvest, drying temperature, drying methods, physical characteristics of paddy, husking characteristics, paddy moisture content, rubber roller speed, rubber roll pressure, paddy feed rate and fissures. Rubber roll wear depends on the type of rubber material attached to the roller, feed rate, roller speed, pressure etc.

Opis:
In the present investigation, a comparative study was made on the effect of exogenous addition of sodium chloride on net leaf photosynthesis (CO2 uptake) in Aegiceras corniculatum (L.) Blanco, a dicotyledonous mangrove species. The net leaf photosynthesis of A. corniculatum was modified in the presence of sodium chloride, it may be called a preferential halophyte. Salinity is one of the most significant environmental challenges also abiotic constraints limiting plant productivity. A. corniculatum could tolerate up to 800 mM sodium chloride concentrations. The net leaf photosynthesis rate was increased with increasing NaCl salinity up to 400 mM. This concentration was found to be the optimum salinity level for this species. In conclusion, it may be inferred that sodium chloride promoted the photosynthesis concentrations upto optimum level of 400 mM in Aegiceras corniculatum (L.) Blanco. beyond 400 mM NaCl decreased the CO2 uptake. The maximum photosynthetic obtained at 400 mM NaCl on the l20th day.
