    Opis:
    The article offers a classification of adjective prefixes in Danish (section 3) including, among others, native and foreign prefixes (e.g. gen- and a-, respectively), genuine prefixes (e.g. ægte-) and particle prefixes (e.g. anti-). Various definitions of prefixal derivatives have been presented in section 4, while section 5 shows examples of and discusses native and foreign negative prefixes modifying the meanings of adjectives in contemporary Danish. The adjectives in question have been analyzed with regards to their structure and the emotional load they convey. Section 6 concludes the paper and includes comments on the productivity of the prefixes in question, as well as synonymy and antonymy in their usage.

    The purpose of this short article is to present adjectival compositional-derivational word-formations (= samdannelser) in contemporary Danish with regard to their structure, morphology and partly their semantics. There are different interpretations of the notion “samdannelser” in Danish scholarly literature. My point of reference is Paul Diderichsen’s description of this term. This description is based on a morphological analysis. A few types of structures are presented and some morphological phenomena and changes concerning the individual examples are described.

    The article is a study of nouns with the same spelling but different grammatical gender (graphic homonymy, i.e. homography) in Modern Danish. The aim of the article is to analyze the grammatical and lexical homography of both neuter and non-neuter Danish nouns, which have been divided into two groups. The nouns in the first group occur in both grammatical genders with no difference in meaning (grammatical homographs), while the second group is comprised of nouns that do have different meanings based on their grammatical gender (lexical homographs). The author has also identified differences based on word stress (stress homography), different pronunciation and differences connected with the presence of stød or lack thereof, which usually cause a difference in meaning.

    The article discusses various definitions of the Danish term konfiks (præ- and subkonfiks) as well as other, more recently coined, terms (e.g. komplekse ord) used within Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and German word formation. Section 3 includes a list of nominal subkonfikser present in modern Danish as well as examples thereof. The listed nouns have been classified based on whether their first component can exist independently or not. The summary section includes, amongst others, the productivity of subkonfikser as well as various restrictions regarding their use.

    The article reviews various definitions of Movierung in contemporary Danish, i.e. the formation of feminine nouns denoting people from respective masculine forms by means of productive and non-productive suffixes. The author discusses their use and various types of restrictions regarding their use, and points out feminine forms existing despite the lack of respective masculine forms. In addition, another way of forming feminine forms has been presented, including forms with -dame, -frue, -kone, -kvinde and -pige.

    The paper deals with the word-formation analysis of Danish personal nouns in -ist and their formal counterparts in -ist/a/ and yst/a/ in Polish. The analysis is based on Bzdęga’s binary model. The Danish suffix -ist is usually tacked on to nouns though some deadjectival derivatives can also be found. Some personal nouns with the above suffixes have parallel forms with the same meaning. Some Danish personal nouns in -ist have no Polish equivalents though there exist relevant bases in Polish. Numerous Polish derivatives in -ist/a / and -yst/a/ are rendered by compounds in Danish.
