The vocation of lay believers is to build the God’s Kingdom by participating in the life and mission of the Church through the ages. Their activity is such an inherent part of the Mystical Body of Christ that, in a way, it becomes integrated into the redemptive mission of the People of God. However, even a mature Christian vocation of adults does not absolve them of responsibility for unceasing education and formation. The essential justification of ongoing nature of these processes results from their duty to learn and to find the true humanity and to pursue holiness. Being a man is just as important as being a Christian. And being both, a man and a Christian, is just as important as being a member of the Church. Christianus cognoscitur amore, more, ore, re (a Christian can be recognized by their love, manners, countenance and deeds) – thus it is the main objective of Christian formation and education of adults.

Artykuł omawia problemy nowej komunikacji pastoralnej, która powinna mieć wymiar wspólnotowy. Komunikacja pastoralna jest dzisiaj znaczącym obszarem badań teologii pastoralnej, której celem jest poznanie życia i działalności współczesnego Kościoła. Współcześni chrześcijanie bardzo często są zalęknieni i zagubieni. Z tego powodu nauczanie Ewangelii nie przynosi spodziewanego owocu. Dlatego nauka Chrystusa powinna być głoszona we wspólnocie, w której ludzie doświadczą miłości i odnajdą sens i cel swojego życia.
The article discusses the problem of new pastoral communication that, due to the changes taking place in the Church and in the world, should have a communal character. Nowadays, pastoral communication is a significant research area of Pastoral Theology whose aim is to study the life and activity of the modern Church. Today’s Christians very often feel afraid and lost. For this reason, the teaching of the Gospel does not yield the expected fruit. This is why, the teaching of Christ should be proclaimed in the community in which the confused will experience love and find the meaning and purpose in their lives.

W artykule zaprezentowane są aktualne problemy Kościoła związane z komunikacją medialną. Kościół wypełnia swoją misję w świecie realnym. Znakiem czasów współczesnych jest powstanie świata wirtualnego. Teologia pastoralna poszukuje odpowiedzi na pytanie: w jaki sposób Kościół może wypełniać swoja misję pastoralną w świecie wirtualnym? Współpraca Kościoła z mediami powinna być oparta na prawdzie. Główne zadanie Kościoła w świecie wirtualnym to budowanie wspólnoty kościelnej. Natomiast chrześcijanie powinni wykorzystywać swoją wiarę do odnowy życia codziennego.
The article presents the Church’s current problems associated with social communication media. The Church fulfils its mission in the real world. A sign of the modern times is the emergence of the virtual world. Pastoral theology is looking for answers to the question how the Church can fulfil its mission of pastoral ministry in the virtual world. The Church’s cooperation with the media should be based on the truth. The main task of the Church in the virtual world consists in building the ecclesial community. In turn, Christians should use their faith to revitalize their daily life.

One of the important causes of the ecological crisis is the egoistic mentality of contemporary people and the lack of respect for the natural order and immanent purpose of the creation. In order to shape a new pro-ecological consciousness a new concept of man and his relations with the environment is needed. One of the proposals is Catholic anthropology, whose ecological foundations were indicated by Pope Francis in his Encyclical Laudato si’. It is a proposal to describe man applying religious concepts, but also including the up-to-date knowledge about man and the environment. It is a concept open to dialogue, the aim of which should be the development of a pro-ecological lifestyle for contemporary people. Catholic anthropology postulates to combine “external” ecology with “moral” ecology, which can help modern man not only to have control over nature, but also to become its defender through small, everyday activities. In ecologically oriented anthropology, the created world is treated as a common home, and Pope Francis calls it our sister, with whom we share existence, and a beautiful mother, who takes us in her arms.

The article presents the theory and practice of Caritas Church’s. This is the joyful service, so selfless assistance to people in need. Caritas Church’s be-longs to the Church and is an inalienable nature of this creatures. This differs from social welfare an humanitarian activities. Caritas Church’s first solidary action, which aims to help people suffering from scarcity. The second task is the education of people to benefit from the joy of human, which is a gift from God. The third task is the orientation for human life of God. The purpose of these task is to build the community of Christ, the second person and with the Church. The charity is love. Man can pursue it, if a man will have „the heart of the which sees”, where the need for love and works consistently. In the spirit of the Gospel of Christ also requires assisting natural prevention and education charity, practise and great experience.

Artykuł przedstawia zadania pastoralne parafii w Polsce w dziedzinie ekologii. Z powodu degradacji środowiska naturalnego cierpią przede wszystkim ludzie. Ponieważ to działalność człowieka przyczynia się do dewastacji natury, dlatego najbardziej skuteczne w ochronie środowiska będą działania podejmowane w obrębie parafii, których „domem” jest terytorium, na którym zamieszkują jej członkowie. Pierwszym zadaniem jest działalność na rzecz uświadomienia proekologicznego, dalej nawrócenie ekologiczne i zmiana stylu życia parafian na co dzień. W praktycznych wskazaniach zostały zaproponowane konkretne działania w parafiach na rzecz ochrony środowiska w Polsce, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem ochrony życia osoby ludzkiej od poczęcia do naturalnej śmierci.
The article presents pastoral tasks of parishes in Poland in the field of ecology. Environmental degradation first and foremostly affects people. Since it is human activity that contributes to the devastation of nature, the most effective way to protect the environment seem to be actions undertaken in parishes and on the territory where their members live. The first task consists in raising environmental awareness among parishioners, followed by ecological conversion and change their daily lifestyle. The article presents some practical guidelines regarding specific actions proposed in parishes for the protection of the environment in Poland, with particular emphasis on the protection of human life from conception to natural death.

The aim of the article is to indicate new possibilities of health protection from the perspective of pastoral theology. The Church’s teaching on the protection of human life and health is very rich. It should also be pointed out that the Church supports all social initiatives to reform health care, especially is humanisation and personalisation, which can lead to better care for the sick, but also create new opportunities in the field of health prevention, in promoting healthy lifestyles and in supporting the pursuit of daily life hygiene. Thanks to the humanisation and personalisation of health care, it will be more effective to deformalize it, so that money, profit or savings do not obscure the most important goal: to provide comprehensive care for the sick person. The good of an ill person is body health and mental balance, but the greatest gift is always to be close to God, according to the principle that people are closest to God when they give health to other people.
Celem artykułu jest wskazanie nowych możliwości ochrony zdrowia z perspektywy teologii pastoralnej. Nauczanie Kościoła na temat ochrony życia i zdrowia człowieka jest bardzo bogate. Kościół popiera wszelkie inicjatywy społeczne służące reformie ochrony zdrowia, zwłaszcza jej humanizację i personalizację, co może przełożyć się na lepszą opiekę nad ludźmi chorymi, ale też stworzy nowe możliwości w dziedzinie profilaktyki zdrowotnej, w propagowaniu zdrowego stylu życia i wspieraniu działań na rzecz przestrzegania zasad higieny życia na co dzień. Dzięki humanizacji i personalizacji służby zdrowia bardziej skuteczne będą działania na rzecz jej odkomercjalizowania, aby pieniądz, zysk lub oszczędności nie przesłaniały najważniejszego celu: otoczenia kompleksową opieką osoby chorej. Dobrem osoby chorej jest zdrowie ciała i równowaga psychiczna, ale największym darem jest być zawsze blisko Boga, według zasady, że ludzie są najbliżej Boga, gdy dają zdrowie innym ludziom.

Artykuł jest próbą poznania, określenia i wytłumaczenia związków przebaczenia ze sprawiedliwością w perspektywie praktyki chrześcijańskiego powołania. Wszelkie przejawy niesprawiedliwości ludzkiej implikują konieczność przebaczenia. Przebaczenie chrześcijańskie jest wezwaniem do konkretnego działania, ale jest też permanentnym stanem serca. W chrześcijaństwie przebaczenie jest nierozłącznie związane ze sprawiedliwością i dopełnia je, przemieniając zarówno przebaczającego, jak i osobę, której się przebacza. Sprawdzianem prawdziwości przebaczenia chrześcijańskiego jest to, że wyzwala ono człowieka z egoistycznie pojętej miłości samego siebie. Do przebaczenia chrześcijańskiego zdolny jest każdy człowiek, gdyż ma w sercu dar miłości od Boga i uczy się kochać innych ludzi bezinteresownie i bezwarunkowo. Dlatego najbardziej wymownym obrazem przebaczenia jest miłość matki, ponieważ idzie za każdym dzieckiem, które po ludzku nie zasługuje na przebaczenie i miłość.
This article is attempt to explore, define and explain the relationship of forgiveness to justice in the perspective of the practice of Christian vocation. All manifestations of human injustice imply the need for forgiveness. Christian forgiveness is a call to concrete action, but it is also a permanent state of heart. In Christianity, forgiveness is inseparable from and complements justice, transforming both the forgiver and the person being forgiven. The test of the genuineness of Christian forgiveness is that it liberate a person from selfish self-love. Every person is capable of Christian forgiveness because they have the gift of love from God in their heart and learn to love other people selflessly and unconditionally. Therefore, the most eloquent image of forgiveness is a mother’s love, as she goes after every child who is humanly undeserving of forgiveness and love.

Artykuł omawia przyczyny konfliktów w dialogu między religią chrześcijańską i nową kulturą. Główna przyczyna znajduje się w umyśle człowieka, któremu dzisiaj zagraża nacjonalizm, rasizm, religijny fundamentalizm. Między kulturą a religią istnieje nierozerwalny związek, a dialog między nimi jest drogą ku prawdzie, której źródłem jest Bóg. Człowiek tworzy kulturę i korzysta z niej, ale musi być otwarty na pełną łączność z Bogiem w religii. Kultura nie może zastąpić religii, nie daje możliwości zaspokojenia duchowych potrzeb człowieka i nie ukierunkowuje człowieka na cel ostateczny – życie wieczne. Dialog między chrześcijaństwem i nową kulturą, który może wspomagać integralny rozwój człowieka i zrównoważony postęp, wymaga uwzględnienia chrześcijańskiego humanizmu, który respektuje godność osobistą człowieka i jego prawa. Dzięki temu człowiek podbudowuje świadomość własnej wartości i może szukać własnych dróg dojścia do Boga.
The article discusses the causes of conflict in the dialogue between Christian religion and new culture. The main cause is in the mind of man, who is today threatened nationalism, racism, and religious fundamentalism. There is an inseparable link between culture and religion, and the dialogue between them is the way to truth, of which God is the source. Man creates culture and benefits from it, but must be open to full communion with God in religion. Culture cannot replace religion, it cannot satisfy the spiritual needs of man and in does not direct man towards the ultimate goal of eternal life. Dialogue between Christianity and the new culture, which can promote integral human development and sustainable progress, requires that account be taken of Christian humanism, which respects human dignity and human rights. Thanks to this, man builds awareness of his own values and can look for his own ways to reach God.

Podstawową misją Kościoła jest głoszenie Jezusa Chrystusa i urzeczywistnianie zbawienia, którego Jezus dokonał na Krzyżu. Krzyż jest więc prawdziwym symbolem pokoju. Krzyż, za sprawą misji ewangelizacyjnej Kościoła, został wpisany w dzieje każdego narodu, ale też jest częścią historii całej ludzkości. Jest to nie tylko znak religijny, ale to również symbol ludzkiej wolności. Człowiek wolny może odrzucić Kościół i krzyż, ale grozi to utratą pamięci i dziedzictwa chrześcijańskiego. Tymczasem prawdziwym źródłem pokoju w powszechnej społeczności ludzkiej jest przebaczenie i nawrócenie, czyli wprowadzenie przez człowieka we własnym wnętrzu prawa Bożego. Pokój nie jest utopią i jest możliwy. I dlatego, że jest możliwy, pokój jest obowiązkiem. Dlatego człowiek może i powinien sprawić, aby siła rozumu zwyciężyła nad racjami siły. Kościół, wzywając do pokoju, wzywa przede wszystkim do czynienia sprawiedliwości: Opus iustitiae pax – „Jeśli pragniesz pokoju, pracuj na rzecz sprawiedliwości”.
The primary mission of the Church is to proclaim Jesus Christ and realizing of salvation, which Jesus made on the cross. The cross is so true symbol of peace. Cross, thanks to the evangelizing mission of the Church, entered in the happening of any nation, but also is part of the history of humanity. This is not just a religious sign, but it’s also a symbol of human freedom. Free man may reject the Church and cross, but there is a loss of memory and Heritage Christian. Meanwhile, the real source of peace in human society is forgiveness and conversion, that is, introduction by man in his own inside of God’s law. Peace is not a utopia and is possible. And because it is possible, peace is a duty. That is why a man can and should make to the force of reason over force reasons. The Church, calling for peace, first and foremost, invited to do justice: Opus iustitiae pax – „If you want peace, work for justice”.

Der Artikel beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema Patriotismus in polnischen Einwandererfamilien im Kontext soziokultureller Verhältnisse in Deutschland. Ziel der Studie war es, den in Familien kultivierten Patriotismus kennenzulernen und die Frage zu beantworten: Handelt es sich um einen Wert, der die Wahrung der nationalen Identität ermöglicht? In dem Artikel verwendete man die Ergebnisse einer soziologischen Studie (Umfrage), die bei der polnischen Mission in Deutschland durchgeführt wurde. Das zusammengetragene bibliografische Material wurde für die kritische Analyse der Studie verwendet. Basierend auf den Forschungsergebnissen stellt man fest, dass der polnische Patriotismus, der von der deutschen Sozialkultur und Religion unter Berücksichtigung der herkömmlichen Umstände verifiziert wurde, bewahrt seine Authentizität und schützt vor nationalistischen Einstellungen. Daher bleibt der Zusammenschluss von Glauben und Polentum tief im polnischen Patriotismus verwurzelt, das authentische und universelle Erbe, das in polnischen Familien an nachfolgende Generationen weitergegeben wurde, vertretend. Aufgrund der durchgeführten Untersuchungen lässt sich bestätigen, dass Patriotismus in polnischen Familien in Deutschland gepflegt wird. Patriotismus sollte vor allem in der Familie eingeimpft werden, deswegen sollten Eltern die religiösen (Glaubenserziehung) und nationalen Traditionen (polnische Bräuche und Kultur) verbinden.
The article discusses the subject of patriotism within Polish immigrant families in the context of socio-cultural conditions in Germany. The aim of the research was to learn about the patriotism cultivated within families and to answer the question: does it is a value and enables retaining national identity? The article uses the results of a sociological survey conducted in the Polish Mission in Germany. The collected bibliographic material was used for their critical analysis. Based on the results of the research, it be concluded that Polish patriotism, which has been verified by German social-cultural along with religious and relating to customs circumstances, preserves its genuineness and protects against nationalistic attitudes. Hence, combination of faith and Polishness remains deeply ingrained in Polish patriotism, representing authentic and universal heritage passed within the Polish families onto the next generations. Based on research done it could be confirmed that patriotism is cultivated within Polish families in German. Patriotism should be primary instilled within family, thus parents shall combine both religious (education in faith) and national (culture and Polish customs) traditions.
