    The article presents the issue of determining safety lines in terms of executing missions of fire support in the proximity of friendly forces by artillery units. The first part describes the existing rules on firing in the vicinity of own troops in combat operations. Further, there are defined simplifications used to determine safety lines and the capabilities of achieving greater accuracy of its calculation under conditions of contemporary warfare.

    The article presents the problems encountered while completing the tasks related to the technical preparation of mortars. The first part describes the binding rules applied to determine the zero settings of the sight and the zero line of sight, and to check and define adjustments for the line of sight deviation. The paper presents a practical solution making it possible to verify quickly whether the determined zero settings are correct. The next part focuses on significant problems related to the determination of individual adjustments in subunits equipped with mortars. The final part contains a summary, conclusions drawn from the analysis and experience gained in practice during firing, and also the proposal of relevant solutions.

    W artykule przybliżono treści związane z historią powstawania urządzeń do pomiaru prędkości początkowej pocisków artyleryjskich, ich budowę i zasady działania. Podjęto także próbę charakterystyki kierunków rozwoju tych urządzeń w kontekście pomiaru parametrów wybranych zjawisk fizycznych towarzyszących strzelaniu. Ponadto scharakteryzowano wybrane stacje balistyczne stosowane obecnie w naszej armii i armiach innych państw pod kątem dokładności pomiarów i zakresu działania.
    The article presents the history of developing the devices for measuring the muzzle velocity of artillery projectiles, their construction and rules of operating. The authors also attempt to describe the development trends of these devices in the context of measuring selected physical phenomena related to firing. Furthermore, some ballistic stations currently used in armed forces are described from the point of view of their accuracy and reliability.

    W artykule przybliżono treści związane z problematyką przygotowania balistycznego i jednego z jego najważniejszych przedsięwzięć, jakim jest określanie sumarycznej odchyłki prędkości początkowej pocisków. Rozpatrzono różne sposoby jej określania w zależności od warunków prowadzenia działań bojowych. Szczegółowo omówiono także sposób określania sumarycznej odchyłki prędkości początkowej sposobem rachunkowym w przypadku posiadania w dywizjonie artylerii różnych partii prochu.
    The authors present the issues related to the ballistic preparation of field artillery fires. One of its most significant undertakings is the determination of summary muzzle velocity deviation. There are different ways of its determination depending on combat environment conditions. Moreover, the methods of calculating summary muzzle velocity deviation when there are two different gunpowder lots used are presented.

    W artykule przedstawiono możliwości zwiększenia dokładności realizacji wybranych elementów przygotowania meteorologicznego w pododdziałach artylerii. W pierwszej części wymieniono istotne różnice i nieścisłości występujące w literaturze fachowej w zakresie terminologii dotyczącej komunikatów meteorologicznych. W dalszej części wskazano uproszczenia zastosowane w procedurach sporządzania komunikatów meteorologicznych oraz możliwości zwiększenia ich dokładności w procesie określania nastaw w pododdziałach artylerii.
    The authors present the possibilities of enhancing the precision of the execution of selected elements of meteorological preparation in field artillery subunits. In the first part of the article the authors list some significant differences and discrepancies in the specialist literature related to the terminology used in meteorological reports. The other part of the article shows some simplifications applied in the procedures for meteorological reports preparation as well as the potential for improving their precision in the field artillery fire preparation process.

    This paper presents the possibility of using CALL FOR FIRE procedures during the execution of fire missions in artillery subunits according to national procedures. The conducted analyzes concerned the possibility of using data obtained from an observer in accordance with the CFF procedure at the point of fire control during the execution of fire tasks. It has been described in detail how to determine target coordinates, taking into account all the differences between the CFF procedure and the national procedures for determining settings in artillery subunits.

Ponadto zwrócono uwagę na sposób ostrzału celu rażonego całością kompanii wsparcia oraz procedury określana nastaw z uwzględnieniem plutonowych stanowisk ogniowych.
    The article contains rudimentary information related to the use of troop-formed mortar battery deployed on firing positions. Furthermore, the authors depict the way in which the objective is fired upon by the whole mortar battery and the procedures according to which settings are determined, taking account of troop firing positions.

W pierwszej części wskazano uwarunkowania techniczne stacji radiolokacyjnych, które mają zasadniczy wpływ na możliwość ich wykorzystania w działaniach taktycznych. W drugiej części zaprezentowano opcjonalny sposób ich wykorzystania w działaniach taktycznych, w tym ugrupowania bojowe oraz sposób maskowania stacji radiolokacyjnych przed rozpoznaniem elektronicznym.
    The authors present artillery radar recognition combat effectiveness and the way of its implementation in operations. Artillery fire finder radar stations are designed to provide deep reconnaissance for artillery fires. They provide information on enemy missiles, artillery and mortar fire positions. The first part of the article lists and describes the technical determinants which influence the operations of artillery radar stations. The factors affecting radar capabilities are the probability of the object location, coverage area and accuracy. In the other part of the article, the optional way of artillery radar operations is shown, in particular radar positioning and concealment.

    The enterprise assessment is used to verify its activity and is a point of departure to make future decisions. The assessment quality depends on its executor’s knowledge, experience and capabilities. Enterprises have adopted an assessment performance method based on their needs and activity specifics. In the ever changing environment the applied enterprise assessment algorithm should be progressively improved. The present enterprise assessment satisfies its basic needs but is not sufficient. The assessment should be enriched by a number of elements that will consider the enterprise logistic system multidimensionality. Numerous factors and their mutual relations should be taken into account in the assessment. This makes it necessary to form a pattern of the enterprise assessment algorithm that would function as a guide.

    Perindopril (PER) belongs to the group of the angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors and is widely prescribed antihypertensive drug. It can be used in monotherapy or in combination therapy for example with hydrochlorothiazide (HTH). As on the market there is no pharmaceutical formulation containing both drugs and in literature has not been reported any work about effect of HTH on PER degradation process, the primary objective of this study was the assessment of stability of two salts of perindopril - tert-butylamine (PERt) and arginine (PERa) in a mixtures model with HTH in different relative humidities and constant temperature. Objective of the study was establishing the mechanisms of drug decomposition in the presence of HTH. Results were achieved using the high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC). The degradation rate constants for mixtures and pure substances were calculated. Decomposition products have been analyzed by ESI LC/MS and the decomposition mechanism for each salt has been proposed. The degradation of PERt in the presence of HTH took place according to autocatalytic reaction kinetic mechanism, described mathematically by Prout-Tompkins equation, and the decomposition process leads to hydrolysis. HTH in the model mixture with PERa generates a first-order kinetic model of the decomposition reaction, and there are two main products of decomposition: product of hydrolysis and diketopiperazine. Our study showed that HTH has statistically significant positive impact on both salts. It can be suggested that PERt or PERa and HTH can be formulated together, hence there is no negative interaction between the drugs.
