Opis:
Modifications of standard fuel system for an industrial gas engine and an analysis of the engine operation on low quality fuel have been described in this paper. The implemented fuel system modifications aim to overcome the challenges which arise when standard fuel gas is replaced by low quality one. Analysis focuses on stability of mixture formation esp. on variations in gas distribution for each cylinder of the engine. The results and discussion include also emissions optimization impact on efficiency as well as the efficiency and emissions level dependency on fuel type.

Opis:
The aim of this paper is to characterize the graphical interface and functionality of virtual tour applications. The indirect aim is to provide initial technical assessment of selected virtual tours avaialable on Polish websites. In addition, the article presents the importance of the terms related to multimedia presentation of online tourist content. References have been made to concepts such as geoinformation society, geoinformation, geospatial data, interactive panoramas and tourism space. In the research, descriptive and comparative methods were used. The initial technical assessment was made by means of the Web Page Analyzer – 0.98 (http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze) from Website Optimization. Results Research into the interface, the functionality and technical assessment revealed that the selected virtual tour applications available online are very diverse. The differences exist both on the quantitative and the qualitative levels. The results have led to a conclusion that the Internet infrastructure, with special emphasis placed on the geo-information infrastructure, allows to develop and transfer tourist activity to the virtual world. The progressive functionality and ergonomics of the interfaces enable multimedia presentations in the form of virtual tours, including use of 360º panoramas, to reach an increasingly wide audience with diverse interests.

Opis:
Aim: The aim of the study is to present the concepts of virtual space functioning in literature and to analyse the quality and quantity of three forms of presentation of tourist spatial data, such as geoportal, virtual walk (excursion) or a video. Methodology: The paper uses descriptive and comparative methods. Results: On the basis of the conducted research it was founded that the most represented form of tourist information is a virtual tour. Among the analysed cities, Kraków has the largest number of virtual tours. Discussion: The obtained results allowed us to state that geoportals and virtual walks allow for greater interaction with the user and provide great freedom of choice of content. Thus, they are a good tool for promoting cities. However, they cannot replace the penetration of real tourism space. There is a large dispersion of materials on the web, which increases the time of obtaining information by a potential tourist.

Opis:
BackgroundStudies of influenza, and human coronaviruses provide evidence that the use of a medical mask can prevent the spread of infectious droplets from an infected person to someone else. After global public health emergency of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 causing illness of COVID-19 was changing frequency of wearing a mask. Therefore, study was undertaken to assess whether the use of protective masks affects the level of oxygen saturation during rest and during exercise.Material and MethodsThe test consisted of a non-invasive measurement of oxygen saturation by percutaneous determination of arterial oxygen saturation with the use of the pulse oximeter. Oxygen saturation was measured during rest and after physical exertion performed without a protective mask (2 types of masks were used: surgical and FFP2), as well as during rest and after physical exertion performed with the use of a protective mask. The analysis of the oxygen saturation, heart rate, blood pressure and respiratory rate included data on 48 subjects.ResultsComparing the post-exercise and pre-exercise values showed a significant difference between all of them. There were no differences found in any variables according to the mask/no-mask status.ConclusionsA short-term physical exercise performed in a group of healthy young people using protective masks did not affect oxygen saturation, heart rate, blood pressure and respiratory rate.
