Opis:
A present study was conducted to determine the impacts of organic and organo-mineral fertilizers on total phenolic, flavonoid, anthocyanin and antiradical activities of Okuzgozu (Vitis vinifera L. cv.) grapes. Study treatments included organic fertilizers (green fertilizer (vetch), green fertilizer (barley), green fertilizer (vetch + barley), farmyard manure, bactoguard, lifebac NP, humanica) and organo-mineral fertilizers (bactolife quality organo, bactolife high organo, bactolife high organo, bactolife super organo power). The control treatment did not receive any application. The organic, and organo-mineral fertilizers applications positively influenced the total phenolic, flavonoid and anthocyanin productions, and antiradical activity (DPPH). The maximum total phenolic production was significantly higher under Bactolife Super Organo Power (785.49 µg GAE/mg in pulp) application, followed by those under bactolife high organo 5-5-5 (780.40 µg GAE/mg in pulp). The total flavonoid production in berry skin (34.26 µg QUE/mg), pulp (137.00 µg QUE/mg) and seed (23.52 µg QUE/mg) were the highest under the bactolife super organo power whereas the antiradical activities (DPPH) of berry pulp and seed were at the maximum level under the bactolife quality organo treatment. Total anthocyanin content of berry skin and pulp of Okuzgozu grape cultivar was the highest under the organic humanica.

Opis:
By applying AUTOSTRUCTURE code, the energies and transitions for allowed (E1) and forbidden (E2, M1, and M2) lines for low-lying configurations in magnesium-like tungsten $(W^{62+})$ are studied. The electron correlation and relativistic effects are included in computations. Good agreement between our results and available other results are found. The data for E2, M1 and M2 besides some E1 transitions for low-lying levels are presented for the first time.

We have calculated the energies of some low-lying levels ($6d7s^2,$ $6d^2 7s,$ $6d7s7p$ and $6d^27p$) and electric dipole transition parameters (wavelengths, oscillator strengths and transition probabilities) between them for neutral actinium (Z=89). In the calculations, the correlation and relativistic effects are considered by multiconfiguration Hartree-Fock method within the framework Breit-Pauli Hamiltonian. The results obtained are compared with the available experimental and theoretical works in the literature.

In this study, the effect of ultrasound on flotation recovery of quartz-amine flotation was investigated in terms of temperature influence. For this purpose, an ultrasonic probe was used for conditioning quartz surfaces in presence of dodecylamine hydrochloride (DAH), and the change in the temperature was recorded. The temperature-controlled ultrasonic conditioning tests were also carried out at various ultrasonic powers (30, 90, and 150 W) to investigate the effect of increasing temperature on the quartz-DAH flotation. The results showed that temperature of the suspension sharply increased from 23 up to 75 °C at the end of 10 min of conditioning at 150 W ultrasonic power. The flotation results for the temperature controlled and uncontrolled samples indicated that the flotation recovery increased from 45 to 65% by 90 W ultrasonic power. However, higher ultrasonic power levels affected the flotation recovery negatively. On the other hand, the ultrasonic application decreased the flotation recovery at all ultrasonic power levels in the temperature-controlled tests. Finally, the shape analysis was also performed for the particles treated with the ultrasound at various ultrasonic powers. As a conclusion, the positive effect of ultrasound on the quartz-amine flotation recovery could be related to temperature increase during conditioning.

The present study reports on $Ni_3Al$ and $Ti_3Al$-based intermetallics coated on AISI 1010 steel substrate by one-step pressure assisted electric current activated sintering method. Ni, Ti, and Al elemental powders were mixed in the stoichiometric ratio corresponding to the $Ni_3Al$ and $Ti_3Al$ intermetallics at molar proportion of 3:1. The mixed coating powders were placed onto the steel substrate in a mold, and pressed with compressive stress of 100 MPa and then, electric current: 1100-1200 A, voltage 2.9-3.4 V was applied for 15 min during coating. As-synthesized coatings seem to have good adherence with many small porosities. The phases formed in the $Ni_3Al$ coating layer were $Ni_3Al$ as a major phase beside NiO and $NiAl_2O_4$ trace phases, which were confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. However, TiAl and Ti trace phases besides major $Ti_3Al$ phase were detected in the $Ti_3Al$ coating. The hardness of the $Ni_3Al$, $Ti_3Al$ coatings and AISI 1010 substrate was approximately 321 ± 18, 445 ± 13 and 157 $HV_{0.5}$, respectively.

The study aimed to determine the most appropriate irrigation scheduling for mini-type cucumber plants grown as a spring-summer cycle crop. The research was conducted in a greenhouse structure in the fields of the Research Institute in Kirklareli. Marathon cucumber plants were used as the plant material in the trials. The split plot design experimental layout in 3 replications was used in the research. Four different plant–pan coefficients (0.75, 1.00, 1.25 and 1.50) and two irrigation intervals (2 and 4 days) were applied as subplots and main plots of the study, respectively. As a result of the 3-year investigation, it was determined that yields, number of cucumber fruits, and fresh cucumber fruit weight, length and diameter increased with the increase in the irrigation water amount. The highest average total soluble solids (Brix) value of 5.0 was recorded under conditions of most severe stress imposed on the plots with lowest water application rates of Kcp 0.75. While the lowest values of 4.0–4.1 were obtained for plants growing under more favorable moisture conditions in plots with application of Kcp 1.25 and 1.50. Statistically significant positive linear relationships were obtained for irrigation water amount on one hand, and fruit number, fruit mean weight, fruit length and diameter on the other, while the relationship between water applied and TSS (Brix) was negative.

The autoionization process has an important role in many areas such as satellite line formation, inner-shell ionization, and diagnostics of astrophysical and fusion plasmas. We have here reported autoionization rates for some levels of Na-like tungsten (W⁶³⁺) and gold (Au⁶⁸⁺), and Mg-like tungsten (W⁶²⁺) and gold (Au⁶⁷⁺) using AUTOSTRUCTURE atomic code. In calculations, the Breit interactions, quantum electrodynamics and configuration interaction effects have been considered. The results obtained for tungsten ions have been compared with other available results. Also new results for gold ions have been presented.
