This paper shows and indicates the need of implement the strategy of companies which are existed in the Internet about personation functions. The presentation of the offer of products, services, information or contents fitted for individual interests and requirements of internauts also the impression of individual approach can form positive communication between company and its potential customer and in result customer's loyalty. Despite the fact that the methods of personation are used more common, hitherto existing experiences indicate that there must be donne some changes. Users of the Internet willfully support individual alleviate the needs, but they also want to respect their privacy.

Opis:
A rare case of distant metastasis to spinal column – lumbar vertebra (L5) – from laryngeal cancer was reported. It must be noted that in 10 % of cases metastases to vertebral column are first symptom of a neoplastic disease and sixty-five percent of patients with advanced cancer present bone metastases. Metastatic involvement of the bone is one of the most frequent causes of pain in cancer patients and represents one of the first signs of widespread neoplastic disease. Nevertheless metastases to lumbar vertebral column from laryngeal cancer is very rare. In presented case MRI and CT were performed to confirm metastasis. Laryngological examination revealed tumor of a right part of larynx – squamous cell carcinoma (G2) in histopathological examination. The patient was qualified to palliative radiotherapy and still is under laryngological observation.

Rynek produktów żywnościowych to miejsce gruntownych przemian, które z jednej strony dostrzegane są w zachowaniach konsumentów odzwierciedlonych przez: wyraźną stabilizację poziomu spożycia wielu podstawowych artykułów, wzrost spożycia nowych kategorii produktów (żywność wygodna czy funkcjonalna) oraz wyraźny trend wzrostu znaczenia jakości spożywanych produktów żywnościowych. Z drugiej strony przemiany uwidoczniły się w innowacyjności produktowej i marketingowej uczestników strony podażowej rynku w formie rozszerzenia i pogłębienia oferty rynkowej adresowanej do różnych grup konsumentów oraz dynamicznego rozwoju różnych form dystrybucji. W rezultacie celem jest nie tylko zaspokojenie bieżących oczekiwań i potrzeb żywnościowych uczestników rynku, ale również poszukiwanie nowych możliwości i perspektyw rozwoju rynku i aktywności jego uczestników.
The market for food products is a place of radical changes, which, on the one hand, can be seen in consumer's behaviour reflected by a clear stabilisation of the level of consumption of many basic articles, growth of consumption of new categories of products (convenient or functional foods) and a clear trend of growth of the importance of quality of food products being consumed. On the other hand, the changes are seen in product and marketing innovativeness of participants of the supply side of the market in the form of extension and deepening of the market offer addressed to various groups of consumers and the dynamic development of various forms of distribution. In result, the objective is not only satisfaction of the current food expectations and needs of the market players but also seek for new opportunities and perspectives of development of the market and activity of its players.

This paper presents the debate about Japanese management in a chronological order and puts forward a new definition of the concept. As a result of literature review, we distinguished four major periods of the debate i.e. the birth of Japanese management concept (1950’s -1960’s), the peak of popularity (1970’s – 1980’s), critics and appropriation period (1990’s) and the period of dispersion (since 2000’s). The main conclusion from the review is that the current debate about the Japanese management is extremely dispersed and requires new unifying definition. We therefore put forward new, more flexible definition of Japanese management as a dynamic, multilevel and contingent concept.

Purpose: In this article we focus on the issue of organizational control in its bureaucratic and cultural forms. Methodology: This research uses exploratory case study analysis of Matsushita Konosuke’s management style of in the early years of the Panasonic Corporation. Findings: First of all, we fi nd that despite the impressive body of knowledge accumulated over the years, some questions concerning the relationship between two modes of control and their changes over time still remain unanswered. As a result of case study analysis we put forward an original model illustrating the relationship between bureaucratic and cultural modes of control over stages of the organization life cycle. Research implications and limitations: Implications of the study consist of prescriptions on how to successfully exert control by combining formal and informal measures. Main limitations of the study are related to its generalizability. Originality: Originality of the study results both from putting forward a new theoretical models and using original historical case of Panasonic Corporation.

Common use of venipuncture on upper and lower limbs for diagnostic purposes (such as coronarography or arteriography), and also during the course of treatment (angioplasty), very often bares a complication in the form of pseudoaneurysms. According to various reports, the incidence of pseudoaneurysms ranges from 0.005% to 0.5% of all vascular procedures requiring arterial cannulation (Common Femoral Artery, Brachial Artery, Radial Artery). The use of Bio Trombina® 400 in the embolization of pseudoaneurysms allows minimally invasive and effective treatment. The aim of the study was to evaluate the efficacy of pseudoaneurysm embolization with the use of Trombina 400, authors’ own experience. Material and methods. In the years 2011 - 2013, the authors of this study performed 38 vascular interventional procedures involving pseudoaneurysms as complications of venipuncture in upper and lower limbs for diagnostic and treatment purposes. All procedures involved the direct injection of thrombin into the chamber of the pseudoaneurysm under the guidance of USG Doppler (6.2 MHz linear head). 34 cases presented single chamber pseudoaneurysms while 4 cases involved multi- chamber pseudoaneurysms, which required several thrombin reinjections (Bio Trombina® 400) into each of the chambers. Pseudoaneurysm maximum size of 4 cm was set as an inclusion criterion for the embolization procedure. Furthermore, all pseudoaneurysms with a significantly wide tract in transverse dimensions were treated as an exclusion criterion because of high risk of the peripheral arteries embolization. Results. Initial success was observed in 36 patients (94.73%) in the first day after the procedure, 1 patient (2.63%) underwent thrombin reinjection procedure in the second day after the first embolization. Another patient (2.63%) underwent an open procedure in which the Common Femoral Artery was accessed, the clot evacuated, and CFA was sutured with continuous suture Prolene 6-0. Conclusions. 1. Embolization of pseudoaneurysms with USG Doppler-guided thrombin injection is an effective course of treatment for complications of cannulation. 2. The safety of pseudoaneurysm embolization depends on a surgeon’s experience. It is also crucial to keep in mind the inclusion and exclusion criteria for this type of procedure (the size of a pseudoaneurysm, the width of its base). 3. Furthermore, its cost effectiveness and short hospitalization period make pseudoaneurysm embolization an effective and valuable alternative to the classic approach.

Purpose: This study argued that desipite what the content of the debate might suggest, there is a conflict between the two concepts of rigour and relevance and their actual relationship is a symbiotic one. Drawing on a definition of symbiosis, the study showed that the concepts of rigour and relevance are actually two separate “organisms” that are bound by a long term relationship that benefits both sides. Methodology: The study reviewed selected literature concerning rigour and relevance and presented the historical development of the debate and theoretical models of the relationship between the two concepts. Implications: The implications were presented from a PhD student’s perspective and included suggestions on how to approach the issues of rigour and relevance in the research project and how to cope with their seemingly conflicting nature. Originality: The originality of this study resulted from approaching the issue of rigour and relevance from a biology perspective and extending the definition of symbiosis to the relationship between the two concepts.

W artykule przedstawiono źródła powstawania zakłóceń elektromagnetycznych mogących wpływać na poprawne działanie urządzeń sterowania ruchem kolejowym. Zestawiono obowiązujące w Polsce dopuszczalne poziomy występowania zakłóceń dla wybranych typów czujników. Badania wykonywane na infrastrukturze kolejowej wymagają odpowiedniego przygotowania zarówno merytorycznego, badanego obiektu jak i stanowiska pomiarowego. Badania wykonuje się zgodnie z przygotowanym scenariuszem uwzględniającym możliwie wszystkie sytuacje, w których badany pojazd może generować zakłócenia powodujące niestabilną pracę czujników, takie jak rozruch czy hamowanie. Przedstawiono przykładowe wyniki pomiarów wraz z kryteriami oraz sposoby przeprowadzania badań, a także szczegółowe wymagania dotyczące aparatury pomiarowej.

The article focuses on the issue of trust development in low-trust societies. Based on a review of the existing literature, we discuss the types of trust as well as mechanisms of trust creation. On this basis, we propose a dynamic four-stage model of trust development. The model is based on the assumption of gradual accumulation of various trust forms on a social level. The article also discusses the implications of the model as well as the possible future routes of empirical research it may open.

Starzenie się ludności coraz bardziej widoczne na poziomie mikro (rodziny) i makro (całego społeczeństwa) wymaga dogłębnego poznania i opisania również ze względu na zwiększające się znaczenie segmentu konsumentów seniorów w gospodarce. Obszar badawczy dotyczący zachowań konsumentów jest bardzo szeroki. W artykule podjęto problem rozpoznania istoty/wymiarów innowacyjności w zachowaniach ludzi starszych. Innowacyjność, jako cecha osobowości człowieka, wykazuje zróżnicowane nasilenie, odzwierciedlając się w odmiennych zachowaniach wobec nowych zjawisk. Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie wybranych aspektów dotyczących poziomu innowacyjności w zachowaniach konsumentów seniorów.
The ageing of the population, which is increasingly visible at the micro level (family) and macro level (the whole of the society), requires in-depth exploration and description, also due to the increasing importance of the segment of senior consumers in the economy. The area of research on consumer behaviour is very broad. The article addresses the issue of recognizing the dimensions of innovativeness in the behaviour of the elderly. Innovation, as a feature of the human personality, manifests itself in varying degrees, reflecting different behaviours towards new phenomena. The aim of this article is to present selected aspects of the research identifying the level of innovation in senior consumers’ behaviour.
