Niezbędne analizy literaturowe z obszaru marketingu i sprzedaży stały się ich podstawą i wyznaczyły właściwy kierunek dalszych badań, których wyniki zostaną zaprezentowane w części drugiej opracowania.
A substantial number of domestic and foreign producers, and increasing competition impose the necessity to adapt to the preferences and requirements of buyers. The knowledge of the needs and expectations of current and future purchasers is a priority in business operations. Bearing this in mind, this paper presents the factors that have a significant impact on making the purchasing decision. The studies have been referred to the market of agricultural machinery. The necessary analyses of the subject literature in the area of marketing and sales have become the foundation and set the right direction for further research, results of which will be presented in the second part of the study.

Niezbędne analizy literaturowe z obszaru marketingu i sprzedaży, przedstawione w pierwszej części opracowania, stały się ich podstawą i wyznaczyły właściwy kierunek dalszych badań, których wyniki zostaną zaprezentowane w niniejszej części opracowania.
The quality of cooperation depends on many factors, among which much emphasis should be put on efficient communication system of the company with the market, understood as the formulation of convincing messages, whose property is to "penetrate" to the recipients and influence them in the expected manner. Bearing this in mind, this paper presents the factors that have a significant impact on making the purchasing decision. The investigations have been referred to the market of agricultural machinery. The necessary analyses of the subject literature in the area of marketing and sales have been presented in the first part of the study, they have become the foundation and set the right direction for further research, results of which will be presented in this part of the study.

The paper presents the results of own research on 10 series of self-compacting concrete which was modified with different amounts of SiO2, TiO2 and Al2O3 nanoparticle additives. The study included rheological properties of concrete mixes and mechanical properties of the hardened concrete in the form of compressive strength and bending strength. The obtained results are shown in relation to comparative concrete made without the addition of nanoparticles.
W pracy przedstawiono rezultaty własnych badań 10 serii betonu samozagęszczającego się modyfikowanego różną ilością dodatku nanocząstek SiO2, TiO2 i Al2O3. Badaniami objęto cechy reologiczne mieszanek betonowych i cechy mechaniczne stwardniałego betonu w postaci wytrzymałości na ściskanie i zginanie. Uzyskane rezultaty przedstawiono na tle betonu porównawczego, wykonanego bez dodatku nanocząstek.

The overall objective of the paper is to present, in terms of theoretical, cognitive and practical aspects, the issues related to product flexibility of a manufacturing plant. The author's intention is to carry out a query of the field literature with regard to a flexible organization paradigm, the presentation of the use of market opportunities that provide the manufacturers with fast reconfiguration and integration of the manufacturing process, and, therefore, the implementation of the finished product tailored to the requirements of the market as well as a reference of the flexible model of a manufacturing plant to the business practice - modelling of flexibility based on an example.

Podczas instalacji konwencjonalnego ekranu dźwiękochłonnego z zamontowaną przed ekranem barierą (betonową lub stalową) należy zapewnić odpowiedni odstęp pomiędzy barierą a ekranem. Odległość ta powinna wynosić minimum tyle, ile dany system barier może się przesunąć podczas uderzenia pojazdu w barierę. W idealnym przypadku odległość ta powinna również umożliwić ewentualne wtargnięcie pojazdu, zgodnie z klasą wtargnięcia danej bariery, np. uderzający autobus nie powinien zahaczyć przedziałem pasażerskim o ekran dźwiękochłonny.
When installing a conventional noise barrier with a vehicle restraint (of concrete of steel) mounted in front of it, one should ensure appropriate distance between the restraint and the noise barrier. This distance should be at least the distance the given restraint system may move during impact of a vehicle into the restraint. In an ideal case, this distance should also allow any intrusion of the vehicle, according to the class of the intrusion of the given restraint for example a crashing bus should not get caught on the sound barrier with its passenger compartment.

The principal objective of this thesis is to present, in theoretical, cognitive and practical terms, the issues related to product flexibility of a manufacturing plant. The intention of the authors remains conducting literature enquiry with regard to the paradigm of a flexible manufacturing plant, determination of the relation of resources and flexibility of a manufacturing plant, referring the resource-based model of a flexible manufacturing plant to the business practice. When conducting an analysis of the specific nature of the resource-based model of the flexibility management system, by presenting the main conditions having impact on it, the authors will suggest recommendations in this respect. For practitioners of management they might be the basis for diagnosis and an inspiration for preparing the strategy of its implementation.
Dokonując analizy specyfiki modelu zasobowego systemu zarządzania elastycznością, przedstawiając główne uwarunkowania mające na nią wpływ, w niniejszym opracowaniu autorzy dokonują kwerendy literatury w zakresie paradygmatu elastycznego zakładu wytwórczego, określają relacje: zasoby a elastyczność zakładu wytwórczego, jak również odnoszą model elastycznego zakładu wytwórczego do praktyki gospodarczej – ocena możliwości zasobowych producenta i na tej podstawie modelowanie zasobów w procesie implementacji zawieszenia przyczepy rolniczej.

Wstępne badania jednoznacznie wskazują, iż zarówno w odniesieniu do teorii, jak i praktyki zarządzania, istnieje wiele nierozwiązanych kwestii dotyczących metod pomiaru zdolności przedsiębiorstw do konfigurowania modeli biznesu. W związku z powyższym konstytutywnym celem niniejszej pracy jest próba sprokurowania koncepcji systemu oceny potencjału dynamizującego kompozycję wybranego modelu biznesu przedsiębiorstwa produkcyjnego działającego w sektorze maszyn rolniczych. Przeprowadzenie studium konceptualnego metody poprzedzone zostanie rozległą analizą oraz usystematyzowaniem dotychczasowego dorobku, w tym profesjonalnej wiedzy ekspertów. Na tej podstawie skompilowane zostaną heterogeniczne sfery implikujące potencjał rekonfiguracyjny modelu biznesu zorientowanego na wspólne innowacje.
The preliminary research clearly indicates that both in relation to the management theory and practice, there is a great number of unsolved issues regarding the methods for measuring the capabilities of companies to arrange business models. With regard to the above, the constitutive objective of this paper is an attempt to create a concept of the system of assessing the potential that dynamizes the composition of the selected business model of a manufacturing company operating in the agricultural machinery sector. The conduct of a conceptual study of the method will be preceded by an extensive analysis and systematisation of the current achievements, including professional expert knowledge. On this basis, heterogeneous spheres, which imply a reconfiguration potential of the business model oriented at common innovations, will be compiled.

Agent Technology which is described in this paper is an example of a relatively new Information Technology and communications infrastructure that is increasingly gaining popularity. In the article authors present an example of Agent Technology to support the assessment of human resources in the enterprise. Brief analysis of Agent Technology together with the definition of manager's skills as well as basic characteristics of the agent have been done. Description of an example of agents that have been modeled within the area of human resources allowing to create a competence gap, by searching the differences between desired and actual level of competence assimilation. The article presents also a model of agent system that consists of individual agents. Agents exchange information between themselves and users of the system, and on that basis make decisions about competence gap. The authors proposed three basic types of agents: Interface Agent (APU), an Intermediate Agent (AK) and Task Agent (AKLK). Agent system proposed by the authors will determine competence gap as well as enable definition of manager's profile involved in the study (based on information obtained from himself) and finally, it will generate a list of competencies required for analysis. System will divide competences into subsets (depending on the manager's profile) and define required level of competence and designate competence gap. It will also allow comparative analysis of the manager's competence levels and generate proposals of methods for raising the competence level.

Poszukiwanie oraz wdrażanie skutecznych instrumentów pomiaru innowacyjności stało się istotnym tematem badań naukowych oraz zagadnieniem podejmowanym przez praktyków zarządzania. Częstym problemem jest ocena ważności i znaczenia innowacji w przedsiębiorstwie; tym bardziej, że ciągle brak jest prostych i przydatnych metod ocen porównawczych. W związku z powyższym zasadniczym celem niniejszej publikacji jest opracowanie uniwersalnej metody oceny innowacji i próba jej wykorzystania przez wybrane przedsiębiorstwo sektora maszynowego; w tym ocena wpływu innowacji na jego elastyczność implementacyjną. Osiągnięcie celu głównego wymagało od autorów opracowania zestawu kryteriów, według których innowacje będą mogły być oceniane. W proponowanym – w pracy ujęciu – przedstawiona metoda będzie przydatna dla konkretnego sektora, przedsiębiorstwa czy oceniającego.
The search and implementation of effective instruments for measuring innovation became an important topic of the research and an issue taken by management practitioners. A common problem is to assess the validity and importance of innovations in the company; especially that there are still no simple and useful methods for comparative assessment. In relation to the above, the main objective of this paper is to develop a universal method for the innovation assessment and the attempt of its use by a selected company of the machinery sector, including the assessment of the innovation impact on its implementation flexibility. The main objective achievement required the authors to develop a set of criteria, according to which the innovations will be possible to be assessed. On the basis – offered in the paper – the presented method will be useful for a particular sector, a company or an evaluator.

Which criteria must a product meet so that it would be attractive from the point of view of its implementation? This article is an attempt to answer the stated question. The authors based their article on theoretical knowledge, direct interviews with managers of manufacturing plants and their own work experience. They considered it justified to present a criterion which is complexity of choice as a domain influencing its attractiveness from the point of a future manufacturer's view. On the theoretical plane, the authors want to conduct an in-depth study of literature on the concept of lean management being the determinant of the manufacturer's flexibility and, in the same time, creating an ability to match the product. On the practical plane, the authors want to prove that the product complexity is one of basic factors testifying its attractiveness because the more complex the product is, the greater is the ability to systemic "slimming" of its sub-assemblies.

Currently, much is being said about a system, which would improve productivity and effectiveness and limitation of production costs connected with general cost minimisation, and broadly understood Lean Manufacturing philosophy. Assuming that the raw material cost amounts to 70% of the total production cost of the final product, the authors decided that it is justified to develop a model strategy, whose implementation will have a tangible effect i.e. the reduction of raw material cost, which will bring distinguishable results in the form of improved value of the production facility.
