    Opis:
    Cultural and historical heritage and cultural tourism are important factors of the socio-economic development of Podhale rural areas. This region has attractive anthropogenic values thanks to which there is the possibility of practicing in Podhale not only leisure tourism, mountain hiking, skiing or ecotourism, but also cultural tourism being a form of cognitive tourism and sightseeing. In its development, apart from architectural monuments, museums, open-air museums, cultivating folklore, tradition, the activity of self-government authorities is important. The research problem presented in the study concerns the analysis of cultural values and elements of the cultural and historical heritage of Podhale rural areas included in the development strategies of the seven Podhale communes (Biały Dunajec, Bukowina Tatrzańska, Czarny Dunajec, Kościelisko, Nowy Targ, Poronin i Szaflary). These attractions are recorded in the strengths and weaknesses of SWOT Analysis. The research method was to study strategic documents. In order to accomplish the main objective of the work related to the analysis of local anthropogenic values, in March 2018 the two components of the SWOT Analysis of the seven specified communities, were analyzed. Various attributes have been store in them and factors directly related to the development of local tourism, including cultural tourism. The most important included: folklore, architectural monuments, folk art and regional and traditional products. Indirect goals concerned the characterization of the most important concepts related to cultural and historical heritage. On the basis of literature, cultural (anthropogenic) values and the essence of cultural values were described, the concept of tradition, folklore, cultural tourism and rural cultural tourism were defined.
    Dziedzictwo kulturowo-historyczne i turystyka kulturowa to ważne czynniki społeczno-ekonomicznego rozwoju obszarów wiejskich Podhala. Region ten posiada atrakcyjne walory antropogeniczne dzięki którym istnieje możliwość uprawiania na Podhalu nie tylko turystyki wypoczynkowej, pieszej górskiej, narciarskiej czy ekoturystyki, ale również turystyki kulturowej będącej formą turystyki poznawczej oraz krajoznawczej. W jej rozwoju, oprócz zabytków architektury, muzeów, skansenów, kultywowania folkloru, tradycji ważna jest aktywność władz samorządowych. Problem badawczy postawiony w niniejszym opracowaniu dotyczy analizy walorów kulturowych i elementów dziedzictwa kulturowo-historycznego obszarów wiejskich Podhala zawartych w strategiach rozwoju siedmiu gmin podhalańskich (Biały Dunajec, Bukowina Tatrzańska, Czarny Dunajec, Kościelisko, Nowy Targ, Poronin i Szaflary). Atrakcje te są zapisane w silnych i słabych stronach Analiz SWOT. Metodą badawczą były studia dokumentów strategicznych. Aby zrealizować główny cel pracy związany z analizą lokalnych walorów antropogenicznych, w marcu 2018 roku poddano analizie wymienione 2 elementy składowe Analizy SWOT wyszczególnionych gmin. Zostały w nich zapisane różne atrybuty i czynniki bezpośrednio odnoszące się do rozwoju lokalnej turystyki, w tym turystyki kulturowej. Do najważniejszych zaliczono: folklor, zabytki architektury, twórczość ludową oraz produkty regionalne i tradycyjne. Cele pośrednie dotyczyły charakterystyki najważniejszych pojęć związanych z dziedzictwem kulturowo-historycznym. Opisano na podstawie literatury walory kulturowe (antropogeniczne), istotę wartości kulturowych, zdefiniowano pojęcie tradycji i folkloru oraz turystyki kulturowej i wiejskiej turystyki kulturowej.

    Youth Tourism in Poland in the Period of the Polish People’s Republic and in the Period of the Polish Th ird RepublicIn the article the Author presented the general aspects of youth tourism developmentin Poland in two periods of its history. Th e fi rst one is connected with theperiod of the Polish People’s Republic and the second with the period of the PolishTh ird Republic. Th e author presented the most important features of youth tourismdevelopment in these two mentioned periods of Poland’s history. During the PolishPeople’s Republic youth tourism was well developed and it had a social character. Th edevelopment of this form of tourism during this period was supported by the state.Diff erent forms of youth tourism, mainly qualifi ed tourism and leisure tourism weresupported not only by the state but also because of activity of the Polish Tourist andSightseeing Society and Th e Polish Scouting and Guiding Association. In this fi eldthe Catholic Church in Poland played an important role, too. During the period of thePolish Th ird Republic the activity of the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society inyouth tourism development was important, too. Besides, in the development of thiskind of tourism diff erent private fi rms, travel agencies played a very important role.In this period of Poland’s history there were not any bailout for the youth tourismindustry from the state.

    In the article institutions like agritourism associations and local authorities which take part in the process of agritourism services management in Limanowa County were presented. These institutions manages different matters like promotion and widely understood marketing. To aim it in the period February-March this year questionnaire researches were carried out in all ten rural communities in the county. In March this year questionnaire researches were carried out with the chambers of “The Agritourism Association of the Limanowa County” and “The Association of Tourism and Agritourism of Mountainous Regions”. Besides, history of agritourism development in this part of Malopolska Voivodeship was presented. It was made on the basis of data from the Tourism Institute in Warsaw and from results of researches carried out by the author of this article.

    The article concerns the state and determinants of tourism and recreation services development in two communes located in Cracow Count: Michalowice and Zielonki. Among factors of tourism development issues connected with cultural heritage and environmental values were discussed in detail. The author presented the most important factors of tourism and recreation development in these regions, and characterized the tourism infrastructure including number of and forms of accommodation sites, and sport-recreation objects, too. Moreover, the most important tourism values located in two communities were presented. In the empirical part of the article results of researches carried out in both communities in the form of direct interviews with officials in Count Offices. In the community of Michalowice the respondent was the vice voyt. In County Office in Zielonki the respondent was the official of this office responsible for community promotion. The researches concerned the role of local authorities in tourism-recreational services development and determination the most important factors of tourism development.

    The article concerns different strategies of agritourism services development included in general districts development strategies. The author presented different conceptions and forms of strategic agritourism development. The state of agritourism development in Malopolska Voivodeship was shown. A number of agritourism farms in individual provinces in this region was presented. Besides, factors of agritourism development on this territory were shown. In the empirical part of the article results of researches carried out in 57 districts in Malopolska Voivodeship, on the subject of the role of local authorities in agritourism development, and on the subject of the significance of undertakings directed to agritourism development included in district’ development strategies worked out, were shown.
    Artykuł ukazuje różne koncepcje i formy strategii rozwoju agroturystyki na przykładzie wybranych gmin województwa małopolskiego. Przedstawiono stan rozwoju agroturystyki w tym regionie. Ukazano na bazie literatury przedmiotu rodzaje przedsięwzięć strategicznych w rozwoju usług agroturystycznych. Przedstawiono wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w 57 gminach omawianego województwa związanych z planami rozwoju agroturystyki ujętymi w strategiach rozwoju tych gmin.

    In the article issues connected with the role of cultural heritage in tourism development have been presented. It was shown on the example of four Malopolska communities located in the area of Cracow Province: Michałowice, Skała, Zabierzow i Zielonki. First, on the base of literature the essence of cultural heritage has been presented. The author presented definitions of this process and showed different divisions of such understood heritage. Secondly, many elements of cultural and historical heritage connected with four mentioned above communities have been presented, too. In these groups both heritage connected with material sphere and immaterial one have been characterized. Thirdly, the results of researches carried out in County Offices in these four communities have been presented. The researches carried out by means of interviews with clerical workers have been shown in the empirical part of this article.

    In the article different issues connected with different forms of qualified tourism development in the interwar period in Cracow Voicodeship were presented. First of all the essence of such understood tourism was defined. The most popular forms of qualified tourism were presented, too. In twenties and thirties of the 20th century these forms were similar to present ones. In this part of the work specialist tourism values, on the base of literature were characterised, too. They allow to practice different forms of qualified tourism. Next, there was a short part of the article related to the history of qualified tourism development from the second part of nineteenth century till the outbreak of the first world war in 1914 on polish territories. In this over 120 years period Poland had been not existed as sovereign country but first forms of mountain tourism and skiing appeared. The most information and problems included in the article were connected with the qualified tourism development in Poland, especially in Cracow Voivodeship in the interwar period. The author described the role of institutional surrounding in the development of this kind of tourism. Some organizations like Polish Tatra Society played a very big role in this period in qualified tourism development, especially in the development of mountain tourism in Tatra Mountains. The Polish Tatra Society built a lot of mountain huts in Poland, especially in Cracow Voivodeship in Tatra Mountains. A mountain hut was kind of accommodation located in the mountains intended to provide food and shelter to mountaineers, climbers and hikers. This organization caused to expand tourism and recreation base in Zakopane, too. It was a place from which tourists started to go to the mountains. In this work the role of different publications connected with qualified tourism development in the interwar period were presented, too. Among these positions one should mention about year-book “Wierchy” edited in Cracow.

    The article describes the state and determinants of tourism development in Orawa. The author mainly focuses on Polish Orava. Many attractive tourism values, both environmental and cultural are presented in this article. Besides general information about the state of tourism infrastructure is shown.     Subsieci, nazywane podgrupami, stanowią w strukturze sieciowej jeden z trzech podstawowych poziomów metody badawczej, jaką jest analiza sieci społecznych. Ten poziom analizy określany jest mianem „mezo” i dotyczy oceny stopnia spójności sieci opartej na wyodrębnieniu podgrup aktorów (węzłów). Wydzielenie subsieci odbywa się na podstawie różnorakich kryteriów. Podejście sieciowe stosuje się w różnych sektorach usług, w tym w turystyce wiejskiej. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie kryteriów delimitacji podgrup w strukturach sieciowych turystyki wiejskiej i sposobów zarządzania w ich obszarze. Ukazano dwa rodzaje struktur: stowarzyszenia agroturystyczne i terytorialne sieci turystyki wiejskiej wraz z tworzącymi je przykładowymi aktorami i formami relacji pomiędzy nimi. Scharakteryzowano ponadto turystykę wiejską i agroturystykę, podejście sieciowe w naukach o zarządzaniu i ogólne założenia analizy sieci społecznych na poziomie mezo.

    W opracowaniu zaprezentowano uwarunkowania rozwoju turystyki kwalifikowanej na obszarach wiejskich powiatu limanowskiego. W części teoretycznej zdefiniowano turystykę kwalifikowaną oraz podano jej najważniejsze cechy. Przedstawiono ponadto, na podstawie portalu internetowego powiatu, jego walory specjalistyczne, dzięki którym możliwy jest rozwój turystyki kwalifikowanej. W części empirycznej opracowania autor zaprezentował wyniki badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych we wszystkich gminach wiejskich i miejsko-wiejskich powiatu limanowskiego. Badania miały na celu ukazanie stanu infrastruktury turystycznej badanego regionu, najważniejsze uprawiane na jego terenie formy turystyki, w tym turystykę kwalifikowaną oraz znaczenie władz lokalnych w rozwoju turystyki.
    In the article the determinants of qualified tourism development in rural areas of Limanowa Province were presented. In the theoretical part of the study, qualified tourism was defined and its most important features were given. Moreover, on the basis of the Limanowa Province’s internet portal, its specialized values, which makes it possible to develop qualified tourism, were presented. In the empirical part of the article, the author presented the results of surveys carried out in all rural and urban-rural communes of the Limanowa Province. The research was aimed at showing the state of tourist infrastructure of the studied region, the most important forms of tourism practiced in its area, including qualified tourism and the importance of local authorities in the development of tourism.

    W artykule przedstawiono dziedzictwo kulturowo-historyczne jako ważny czynnik rozwoju turystyki na obszarach wiejskich Podhala. Na podstawie literatury scharakteryzowano istotę dziedzictwa, przedstawiono jego elementy oraz pojęcia pokrewne, w tym istotę wiejskiej turystyki kulturowej. Część empiryczna artykułu obejmuje natomiast analizę wyników badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych w gminach wiejskich powiatu tatrzańskiego oraz trzech powiatu nowotarskiego, wchodzących w skład Podhala. Na ich podstawie stwierdzono duże znaczenie dziedzictwa kulturowo-historycznego w rozwoju turystyki w omawianym regionie oraz spore zaangażowanie samorządów gminnych w utrzymanie i kultywowanie dziedzictwa, w tym folkloru i różnych imprez kulturowych.
    The article presents cultural and historical heritage as an important factor in the development of tourism in rural areas of Podhale. Based on the literature, the essence of heritage was characterized, its elements and related concepts were presented, including the essence of rural cultural tourism. The empirical part of the article covers the analysis of the results of surveys conducted in the rural communes of the Tatra Count and the three communes of the Nowy Targ County in the Podhale region. On its basis, the great significance of cultural and historical heritage in the development of tourism in the discussed region was found, as well as considerable involvement of municipal self-governments in maintaining and cultivating heritage, including folklore and various cultural events.

    Ważną rolę w agroturystyce pełnią zwierzęta gospodarskie, które stanowią jeden z elementów rdzenia produktu agroturystycznego. Pośród wielu gatunków i ras zwierząt w gospodarstwach agroturystycznych występują też stare rasy zachowawcze, które objęte są programem ochrony zasobów genetycznych. Celem pracy jest zaprezentowanie udziału zwierząt gospodarskich ras zachowawczych w gospodarstwach agroturystycznych „Góralskiego Stowarzyszenia Agroturystycznego”. Badaniami objęto wszystkie gospodarstwa agroturystyczne należące do „Góralskiego Stowarzyszenia Agroturystycznego” zlokalizowane w wybranych gminach województwa małopolskiego. Pośród nich 52% gospodarstw agroturystycznych deklarowało utrzymanie zwierząt gospodarskich ras zachowawczych. Badania wykazały, że spośród zwierząt gospodarskich ras zachowawczych utrzymywanych w gospodarstwach agroturystycznych „Góralskiego Stowarzyszenia Agroturystycznego” największy udział stada stanowiły owce (47%). Porównywalny był udział procentowy bydła i kóz stanowiąc odpowiednio 20 % i 21% oraz wyraźnie niski był udział koni (7%) oraz świń (zaledwie 5%). Argumentami przemawiającymi za wyborem tych ras zwierząt jest nie tylko ich doskonałe przystosowanie do lokalnych warunków klimatycznych i paszowych, ale też duża ich zdrowotność i długowieczność.
    Livestock plays an important role in agritourism, which is one of the core elements of an agritourism product. Among many breeds of animals on agritourism farms there are also old regional breeds that are covered by the genetic resources conservation program. The purpose of the work is to present the share of farm animals of conservative breeds on agroturism farms of the “Highlander Agrotourism Association”. The research covered all agritourism farms belonging to the “Highlander Agrotourism Association” of farms located in selected voivodship of Małopolska. Among them 52% of agritourism farms declared keeping farm animals of conservative breeds. Studies have shown that sheep accounted for the largest share o conservation breed animals on the agroturism farm of this association. Based on the answered obtained from questionnaires of the survey carried out at agritourism farms, it was found that the largest percentage of large farmed animals were 47%. The percentage share of cattle and goats was comparable, constituting 20% and 21% respectively. The arguments for choosing these animals breeds are not only their excellent adaptation to local climate and feed conditions but also their high health and longevity.
