    Interpretacje przestrzeni architektonicznej odbywają się na trzech poziomach. Pierwszy, swoiście ponadarchitektoniczny - konstruuje wielodyscyplinarny model Idei, która adekwatnie ukształtuje później również koncept architektury. Drugi - odnosi się do rozwiązań przestrzenno-formalnych i estetycznych. Trzeci - to indywidualnie subiektywne interpretacje dokonywane przez poszczególnych obserwatorów. Pierwszy - abstrakcyjnie kształtuje niematerialną strukturę kompozycji przekazywanej Idei (treści, znaczeń, miejsc, funkcji, estetyki itp.), nadając jej na przykład formę zwartą bądź rozproszoną. Drugi - stanowiąc materialną emanację pierwszego, konstruuje odpowiadającą mu strukturę materialną, na przykład: filozoficznej metafory zwartego gmachu bądź rozproszoną - kompilacyjną. Trzeci - ma odniesienie w doświadczeniach obserwatorów.
    Architectural space may be interpreted on three levels. The first, in a way going beyond architecture, constructs a multidisciplinary model of the Idea, which will adequately form the concept of architecture later on. The second relates to spatial-formal and aesthetic solutions. The third is the individually subjective interpretations made by individual observers. The first – abstractly forms the non-material structure of the communicated Idea’s composition (content, meanings, places, functions, aesthetics, etc.), giving it, for example, a compact or dispersed form. The second - being a material emanation of the first - constructs a corresponding material structure, for example, a philosophical metaphor of a compact edifice or dispersed - compilation. The third - is manifested in the experience of the observers.

    Architektura zmienia się jako metoda wydzielania i przedstawiania przestrzeni. Czas i ludzie redefiniują wybudowane, z założenia niegdyś niezmienne obiekty architektoniczne. Skonstruowane do spełniania określonego w niewyznaczonym czasie zadania, nadal swoiście trwałe – są dostosowywane do warunków, w których owo zadanie jest realizowane współcześnie. Zastosowane materiały, konstruujące założenie przestrzenne, a także metody wydzielania przestrzeni, podlegające swoistemu best before, są tego konsekwencją. Constans, odniesiony do architektury, po analizie obiektu i miejsca, wskazuje niezmienne. Wyznaczenie tego, stanowiąc charakterystyczny fundament dla konceptu budowania, ułatwia określanie celu, ku któremu się podąża, oraz kierunku działań i metod w projektowaniu.
    Architecture as a method of separating and depicting the space is subject to change. Time and people redefine the constructed architectural objects, once assumed to be unchangeable. Built to perform a task outlined in an undefined time – still specifically durable – they are adapted to the conditions in which that task is contemporarily being performed. Materials used for constructing a spatial concept and methods of separating space which are subject to a specific best before are its consequence. Permanence referred to Architecture, analysing the object and place – demonstrates the unchangeable. Determining it, constituting a specific foundation for the concept of constructing, facilitates defining the goal pursued, direction of the undertaken activities and methods in designing.

    Przedstawiony projekt EHTIC został zanalizowany w świetle interpretowania obiektu architektonicznego jako swoistego środka przekazu informacji. Za kluczowe przyjęto konstruowanie genomu tożsamości, zbudowania swoistej typografii: zaprojektowania wyróżniających, charakterystycznych cech i nadania swoistego stylu zaprojektowanej przestrzeni. Jej postrzeganie jest symultaniczne, a tematyczny przekaz konstruowany z fragmentarycznie odczytywanych różnorakich wrażeń.
    The EHTIC project presented here has been analysed in the light of the interpretation of the architectural object as a kind of information medium. The construction of an identity genome, the creation of specific typography: to design distinctive, characteristic features and to give a specific style to the designed space, was considered crucial. The perception of space is a simultaneous and thematics message built from fragmentary readings of various impression.

    Laserowa chirurgia refrakcyjna wykorzystująca technologię lasera ekscymerowego i/lub femtosekundowego jest chirurgią rogówki zmieniającą jej krzywiznę przednią i korygującą w ten sposób wady refrakcji. W artykule przedstawiono po krótce pierwsze techniki refrakcyjne w obrębie rogówki, a następnie charakterystykę technologii laserowych. Ponadto dokonano przeglądu obecnie stosowanych laserowych metod korekcji wad wzroku.
    Laser refractive surgery, using excimer and/or femto laser technology is surgery of the cornea, correcting refractive errors by changing its anterior curvature. The article presents briefly the first corneal refractive methods, then the characteristics of laser technology and an overview of the currently used methods of laser vision correction.

    The aim of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of commercial gradient test (Etest) in the detection of triazole resistant Aspergillus fumigatus isolates using reference microdilution methods and the analysis of sequences of the cyp 51A gene. The study was performed on twenty clinical isolates which were identified as Aspergillus fumigatus based on the DNA sequences of the ITS1-2 fragment of ribosomal DNA and the β-tubulin gene, out of them seventeen isolates showed wild-type cyp51A sequence and three were positive for the mutation TR34/L98H. All isolates were tested for the susceptibility to itraconazole (ITZ), voriconazole (VOR) and posaconasole (POS) using microdilution methods, according to EUCAST and CLSI protocols, as well as using Etest. The results of microdilution and Etests were analysed separately according to clinical breakpoints (CBP) defined by EUCAST version 7.0 and epidemiological cut off values (ECV). Etest as well as reference methods excellently recognised the WT isolates, which were susceptible to all tested triazoles, regardless of the method and CBP or ECV criteria used. The Etest recognized three non-WT isolates as resistant or intermediately sensitive to ITZ and POS and one as resistant to VOR. The categorical concordance between Etests and EUCAST and Etests and the CLSI method ranged from 90 to 100%. The interpretation of the results obtained from routine A. fumigatus Etests requires great caution. The use of the confirmative examinations with reference AST methods as well as with molecular tests is recommended.
