    The paper discusses the relationship of the global responsibility crisis with values. The author shows that the source of this crisis is the loss of perspective defined by universal values. She uses the European concept of creativity and the Chinese concept of crisis /wej-dżi/ to show the ethical dimension of the crisis. She draws attention to the usefulness of the crisis for creative crossing the limits of what is possible as set by the current situation.
    W artykule omówiono związek kryzysu globalnej odpowiedzialności z wartościami. Autorka pokazuje, że źródłem tego kryzysu jest utrata perspektywy określonej przez uniwersalne wartości. Korzystając przy tym z europejskiego pojęcia twórczości i z chińskiego pojęcia kryzysu wej-dżi, odsłania etyczny wymiar kryzysu. Zwraca uwagę na przydatność kryzysu do twórczego przekraczania granic możliwości wyznaczonych przez aktualną sytuację.

    This article fits into the discourse concerning the safety of modern man and seeks to find a wise response to the emerging threats. The author reflects upon the specific character of ethics as a domain of knowledge that came into being in order to gather truths, which would help human beings to take care of themselves wisely. She points out that security is an issue in the field of ethics and writes about the relationship between security and subjectivity. This article describes the problems that are associated with the loss of subjectivity and consequently, security, understood as the ability to stand up to threats.
    Artykuł wpisuje się w dyskurs o bezpieczeństwie współczesnego człowieka i w poszukiwania mądrych odpowiedzi na pojawiające się zagrożenia. Autorka ukazuje specyfikę etyki jako nauki, która powstała, by odkrywać i zbierać prawdy potrzebne człowiekowi do mądrego troszczenia się o siebie. Zwraca uwagę na to, że bezpieczeństwo jest zagadnieniem z zakresu etyki. Pokazuje jego relacje z podmiotowością. Zwraca uwagę na problemy, które mają związek z utratą podmiotowości i w konsekwencji bezpieczeństwa rozumianego jako możliwość przeciwstawienia się zagrożeniom.

    The author of the paper treats the notion of sustainable development as a project of understanding the reality and storage of knowledge that has been filling with content since the moment it was introduced into the discourse of science. She shows that the ecosystem metaphor helps to propose the main theses of the speech: (1) sustainable development is a system of activity that enriches the social and natural environment of people; (2) to understand its specifics supports the metaphor of life; (3) sustainable development must be an open, relatively isolated system. The notions of life, sustainable development, creative persistence and transgression are the keys to the presented considerations.
    Autor artykułu traktuje pojęcie zrównoważonego rozwoju jako projekt rozumienia rzeczywistości i magazyn wiedzy, który jest wypełniany treścią od momentu wprowadzenia pojęcia do dyskursu nauki. Pokazuje, że metafora ekosystemu pomaga zaproponować główne tezy artykułu: 1) zrównoważony rozwój to system aktywności, który wzbogaca środowisko społeczne i przyrodnicze ludzi; 2) w zrozumieniu jego specyfiki pomaga metafora życia; 3) zrównoważony rozwój musi być otwartym, względnie izolowanym systemem. Pojęcie życia, zrównoważonego rozwoju, twórczego trwania i transgresji są kluczem do przedstawionych rozważań.

    The author finds justification for ‘forest rights’ in the subjective existence of ecosystems. The concept of life helps her to understand the subjectivity of ecosystems. She notes that the specificity of life is the creative duration that connects the three dimensions of time: past, present and future. Thinking about dependencies in the ecosystemrelation scheme helps to understand how it is possible to be so creative. The author uses the concept of the ‘subject of responsibility’, which is found in Roman Ingarden’s work ‘On Responsibility and its Ontical Foundations’. Being the subject of responsibility justifies having rights that allow you to contribute to the pursuit of TRUTH, GOOD and BEAUTY. Thanks to ecosystem activity, which is the forest itself, these three universal values can be realized.
    Autorka znajduje uzasadnienie dla „praw lasu” w podmiotowym istnieniu ekosystemów. Pojęcie życia pomaga jej zrozumieć, na czym polega podmiotowość ekosystemów. Zauważa, że specyfiką życia jest twórcze trwanie, które łączy trzy wymiary czasu: przeszłość, teraźniejszość i przyszłość. Myślenie o zależnościach w schemacie relacji ekosystemowej pomaga zrozumieć, jak możliwe jest takie twórcze trwanie. Autorka korzysta z pojęcia podmiotu odpowiedzialności, które znajduje u Romana Ingardena w pracy O odpowiedzialności i jej podstawach ontycznych. Bycie podmiotem odpowiedzialności uzasadnia posiadanie praw, które pozwalają przyczyniać się do realizowania prawdy, dobra i piękna. Dzięki aktywności ekosystemu, jakim jest las, mogą być realizowane te trzy wartości uniwersalne.

    This article investigates the relationship between the possibilities of actualizing our encounters and the openness of human space. It describes various types of encounters and shows the correlations between the perception of difference and the inclination to contravene certain encounters. The effects of encounters based on antagonistic, complementary, dialectic, and synergistic thinking are explored in a way that helps to better understand the aims and consequences of encounters actualized in diverse frameworks of dialogue. Further, the impact of paradigms of reasoning on how the value of meetings is understood is described. The results of the modern perception of relationships in the subject-object scheme and in the ecosystem paradigm are presented. The latter allows for recognition that encounters can facilitate creative activity by expanding human space.

    Autorka zwraca uwagę na specyfikę podmiotowości i jej znaczenie dla bezpieczeństwa człowieka. Pokazuje, że mamy wpływ na zakres i jakość podmiotowości. Jej źródłem jest podmiot. Zrozumieć podmiot pomaga pojęcie system względnie izolowany. Wprowadził je Roman Ingarden szukając ontycznych podstaw odpowiedzialności. Według Ingardena osoba odpowiedzialna kontaktuje się z otoczeniem, ale źródło aktywności ma w sobie. To sprawia, że nie jesteśmy skazani na odreagowywanie, że możemy działać. Mamy wpływ na jakość podmiotu i w konsekwencji na zakres i jakość podmiotowości.
    The author draws attention to the specificity of subjectivity and its importance for human security. It shows that we have an influence on the scope and quality of subjectivity. The concept of a relatively isolated system helps to understand the subject. They were introduced by Roman Ingarden looking for ontical grounds of responsibility. According to Ingarden, the responsible person contacts the environment, but the source of the activity is within him. This means that we are not doomed to react, that we can act. We have an impact on the quality of the entity and, consequently, the scope and quality of subjectivity.

Universal valuesgive a chance for such a relationship with a realitythatdoes not close the activity in a specific system of being. Theyenable the life of activitysystems and overcoming modern threats.
