    There exist some possibilities for simultaneous delivery of laser radiation and ultrasounds of low frequency and high intensity: introducing ultrasound oscillations in the optical fiber by the rigid connection of the fiber to the vibrating element and non-contact influence of the ultrasonic wave on the laser beam. The article presents the results of Matlab simulations and experimental studies of influence of the ultrasonic wave on the laser beam. A role of the air gap, and its influence on laser- ultrasonic transmission in optical fiber was examined. Advantages and disadvantages of both solutions of interaction of ultrasonic and optical waves in, e.g., surgical applications are discussed.

    Opis:
    The possibility of acoustic wave propagation in optical waveguides creates new prospects for simultaneous transmission of laser beams and ultrasonic waves. Combined laser-ultrasonic technology could be useful in e.g. surgical treatment. The article presents the results of experimental studies of transmission of ultrasonic wave in optical fibres, the core of which is doped by 7.5% of TiO2, using a sandwichtype transducer. It also presents amplitude characteristics of an ultrasonic signal propagated in the optical fibre. Authors studied the effect which the length of the fibre has on the achieved output signal amplitudes. They presented the relation of the output signal amplitude from a capacitive sensor to the power applied to the sandwich-type transducer. The obtained results were compared with the results produced when using an optical fibre with a core doped by 3% of GeO2, in order to select optical fibre suitable for simultaneous transmission of ultrasonic waves and laser rays.

    The article presents the results of Matlab simulations and experimental studies of non-contact influence of ultrasonic wave on laser beam. A role of the air-gap and the influence of the air-gap on laser-ultrasonic transmission in optical fiber were examined. Two optical fibers were used with air-gap between them. One fiber was attached to a laser diode and positioned to pass through a hole in a sandwich type transducer and in a velocity transformer. In the velocity transformer (at its end), after leaving small air-gap, to the end of the transformer, the other optical fiber is attached. The second fiber can interact with a given biological structure.

    Glass optical fibres are a promising medium for simultaneous laser-ultrasonic applications. The proposed application system is based on simultaneous transmission of laser radiation and ultrasounds in a flexible silica glass fibre. The optical fibre's core was made of $SiO_2$ (97%) and $GeO_2$ (3%) and the cladding was 100% $SiO_2$. The material the optical fibre is made of enables simultaneous transmission of laser radiation and ultrasonic wave. Experiments were performed using a Mach-Zehnder optical waveguide interferometer with single-mode optical fibre coupler. This paper presents measurement results for delivering ultrasonic waves to the optical fibre using longitudinal vibrations generated by a sandwich ultrasonic transducer with a velocity transformer. The study presents the relations concerning simultaneous operation of both types of waves and the possibilities of transmission of low frequency, high power ultrasonic wave in optical fibres using a sandwich type transducer.

    Opis:
    This article presents the results of experimental studies of simultaneous transmission of ultrasonic waves and laser signals in optical fibers by the use of both the optical single mode and multimode fiber couplers. This work was aimed, among other things, at the study of the way the acoustic energy affects a laser beam. The light wave was guided into one of the coupler’s arms. The optical power applied to one input of the coupler is separated into two coupler outputs according to the rate determined by the coupling coefficient. Only an ultrasonic wave generated by a sandwich type transducer is applied to the other arm of the coupler. In this experiment, as in case of the light wave, the acoustic power is separated into both the outputs. One can observe the interaction of both the waves on the two outputs – a modulation of the light wave by means of the ultrasonic wave is possible. The output signal was detected using a PIN diode and an optical power meter (OPM). Temporary courses were observed on an oscilloscope screen. The simultaneous transmission of ultrasounds and optical radiation in optical fibers can be used in the construction of medical equipmen.

    The subject of this article are the ways of automobile vehicles diagnosis conducting, including division of diagnostic methods as well as the rules of diagnostic testers activity. In the second part of the thesis the idea of open source software and examples of this application usage. In the final part of the work the instances of diagnostic software that meet the rules of open source programs group are presented.

    Masowa produkcja oprogramowania powoduje, że do wykonania określonych zadań można użyć programów od różnych producentów. Nie wszystkie jednak programy cieszą się taką samą popularnością. Badanie cech, które czynią, że dany program jest bardziej akceptowany niż inny, o podobnej funkcjonalności, stało się niezbędne i jest sukcesywnie rozwijane. W przypadku młodej kadry inżynierskiej przyzwyczajenia odnośnie używanego oprogramowania technicznego kształtowane są na uczelni, na której zdobywają wiedzę i umiejętności. Uczelnie techniczne bardzo często bazują na specjalistycznym oprogramowaniu w procesie kształcenia. Jest ono ważne zwłaszcza przy projektowaniu zajęć praktycznych, typu projekty lub laboratoria. Oprogramowanie specjalistyczne bywa często bardzo drogie, a przez to niedostępne dla studentów. Naturalną alternatywą dla tej sytuacji jest możliwość korzystania z oprogramowania open source.
    The massive production of software contributes to the possibility of using the programmes from different producers in order to complete definite tasks. Not all of the programmes, however, are so popular. The testing of software features about the similar functionality shows that some software are more acceptable than the other. This is required and is successfully developed. The habits and preferences of young engineers staff connected with technical software are shaped during studies at the university where they acquire knowledge and abilities. Universities of technology very often base their classes on special software during the process of education. It is especially important while designing a draft of practical classes such as laboratories and projects. Nevertheless, this specialized software is very expensive and at the same time unavailable for students. A natural alternative for this situation is the possibility to use open source software.
