    Autism in spite of so many studies and experiments that take in recent years, there remains still the subject of lively discussion. Often, even disputes as to its complex, controversial nature. Numerous studies, which so far are involving many specialists approached much science to know this extraordinary phenomenon. Their results allowed after all, the development of many wellknown and accepted in the world of programs to stimulate the development of children and young people affected by the said disorder. The effectiveness of many methods but still not satisfied enough to satisfy the expectations of parents and teachers. Recent years have indeed resulted in a distinct change for the better, especially in terms of attitudes towards children with a diagnosis of autism, as well as their parents, but it seems to be far too little compared to the needs. This changed not only the attitude of society, but also the position of perceiving education authorities and health educational needs of children with autism. It turns out that children with a diagnosis of autism requires not only an adequate education, but also the systematic treatment multiprofile social support and rehabilitation of rational interaction. Hence, this study attempted to take this topic cognitive. The author makes an attempt to stimulate social development of children with a diagnosis of autism, the fun with singing and music. The results confirmed the validity of the assumptions that children affected by autism can be incorporated into a play activity. They may be interested in movement and music. You can while having fun make contact with them. You can also without difficulty incorporate them into a peer group, and this is their great achievement.

    Opracowanie o charakterze komparatystycznym jest próbą ukazania sytuacji życiowej i jakości funkcjonowania rodzin wychowujących dziecko z zespołem Downa na tle sytuacji statystycznych rodzin polskich wychowujących dziecko o prawidłowym rozwoju i porównywalnym wieku życia. Celem podjętych badań była próba udzielenia odpowiedzi na następujące pytania: — Czy, i w jakim stopniu przyjście na świat i zaistnienie w rodzinie dziecka z zespołem Downa wywiera wpływ na organizację i standard życia w rodzinie oraz na spoistość więzi między jej członkami? — Czy, i w jakim stopniu sytuacja rodzin wychowujących dziecko z zespołem Downa różni się od sytuacji przeciętnych, współczesnych polskich rodzin? Za podstawę badań przyjęto metodę sondażu diagnostycznego, której podporządkowano techniki: obserwacji, rozmowy ukierunkowanej i wywiadu. Materiał empiryczny zebrano za pomocą kilku narzędzi (w większości opracowanych intencjonalnie na okoliczność zaplanowanego programu badań). Badaniami objęto 186 rodzin, w tym 86 (46,2%) rodzin wychowujących dziecko z zespołem Downa (grupa podstawowa – P) oraz 100 (53,8%) statystycznych rodzin odniesienia (grupa kontrolna – K). Uzyskane wyniki badań poddano empirycznej i statystycznej weryfikacji po to, by na ich podstawie opracować ważne dla praktyki uogólnienia i wnioski.
    The development of this comparison is an attempt to present the life situation and the quality of the functioning of families with a child with Down syndrome against the background of the statistical situation of Polish families raising a child with normal development of a comparable age. The aim of the study was to answer the following questions: — Are there impacts and, if so, to what extent of the coming into the world and the existence of a family of a child with Down syndrome on the organization and the standard of living and in the family ties and cohesion among its members? — Whether and to what extent the situation of families with a child with Down syndrome is different from that of ordinary, contemporary Polish families? As a basis for these studies the diagnostic survey method was used, which was subordinated to the techniques of observation, targeted interviews and intelligence. The empirical material was collected using several tools (mostly drawn from the planned research program). The study included 186 families, including 86 (46.2%) of families with a child with Down’s syndrome (primary group – P) and 100 (53.8%) of families statistical reference (control group – K). The results were empirical and statistical verification in order to develop on the basis of their importance to the practice of generalizations and conclusions.

    The main objective of the article is to share the author’s speech therapy experience gained from working with children profoundly handicapped who soon after thorough clinical diagnosis changed, calling them children of Gregg.     The prepared text is a personal reflection on the structure and meaning of social relationships in contemporary families early twenty-first century,with particular emphasis on families with a child with symptoms of physical or intellectual disability. The major emphasis has been placed there for his father's social role, which in the social constellation which is the family, is sometimes not very clear, sometimes even marginalized, and most interesting families we underestimated the extent that it actually deserves. For drawing generalizations based on the assumed problems accumulated empirical material gathered through observation and interview about 500 families involved. For providing intelligence were both parents of a disabled child, as well as his siblings and other relatives. This properly collated and developed accordance with the suggestion of interested participants in the seminars for parents raising a child with disabilities development, helped to expose and develop a 12- theoretical models of structural and relational families, preferring certain attitudes towards the disabled child and his upbringing. Our results for which I made in the development, servedme for a plot to show the verymuch appreciated and is vital in the life of a disabled child, his father's social role as a carer, friend and facilitator.
