The subject of the investigations described in this paper is the process of wear of friction pair elements with conformal contact occurring in the presence of operating medium with a modifying additive of defined composition. The wear process was analyzed in terms of changing geometric characteristic features of cooperating elements, i. e. size, most often used as indicators of wear of cutting tools.

Agriculture in the southern Poland is economically weaker than agriculture in the other parts of the country. Farms located in the south have apparently smaller areas than the national average. They have also poorer resource base necessary for production. Agricultural input supply and reached economic results translate into investment activity. For a definite majority of production types investment outlays total in the years 2006–2008 were higher in Poland than in the Malopolska and Pogorze Regions. Only the E type farms (permanent crops) and H type (granivorous animals) in some years realized higher than the national average investment expenses. For most agricultural types the net values of investments determining the real development of farms also look disadvantageous. Both in the region and in the country farms of most production types realized investment expenses on a low level which did not even cover the depreciation costs. Therefore, in these entities an actual decapitalization of production assets took place. Net investments assumed positive values only in the entities specializing in bovine production (in the region it was F-type – dairy cows, whereas in Poland total F type – dairy cows and type – animals fed in grazing systems. Markedly lower economic results and indicators characterizing investment activity allow to conclude that at maintaining current tendencies, the disproportions in the commercial agriculture between the Malopolska and Pogorze, and the other regions in Poland will be deepening.

Opis:
Commercial farms in Poland reveal a considerable diversification of land productivity. The diversification occurs between the production types of farms and FADN regions, and therefore also among farms of the same type localized in different regions. Concerning the whole country, the highest land productivity characterizes horticultural farms, whereas the lowest productivity, depending on the region has been registered on farms specializing in field crops or on farms without any specialization In the regional approach, indicators of farm productivity apparently point to a predominance of farms from the Malopolska and Upplands regions, whereas the lowest productivity characterizes the Pomerania and Mazury regions. Combining the results of productivity according to types and regions allows for a conclusion that the highest land productivity characterizes small area horticultural farms in the Wielkopolska and Silesia regions, as well as in the Malopolska and Upplands regions. On the other hand, the lowest productivity was obtained by the largest area farms specializing in traditional field crops in the Pomerania and Mazury Regions.
W opracowaniu podjęto próbę wyznaczenia i oceny różnic w wydajności ziemi w towarowych gospodarstwach rolniczych uczestniczących w polskim FADN. Zróżnicowanie rolnictwa polskiego w zakresie wydajności ziemi oceniono w czterech regionach FADN wg typów rolniczych. Analizy wskazują na wysokie zróżnicowanie wydajności ziemi w różnych typach produkcyjnych i regionach.

This paper presents a statistical analysis of the variation of the mass of samples caused by the process of wear of kinematic vapor of conformal contact working in the presence of a consumable of a defined content. It contains the presentation of test conditions and design of a test rig. Tribological tests were carried out at a room temperature for one velocity of relative motion. Determined was the impact of the concentration of a selected consumable in SN-150 oil base on the mass decrement of tested samples. The statistical analysis was produced on the basis of R software.
W pracy przedstawiono analizę statystyczną zmiany masy próbek w wyniku procesu zużywania pary kinematycznej o styku konforemnym, pracującej w obecności preparatu eksploatacyjnego PE o zdefiniowanym składzie. Omówiono warunki badań oraz budowę stanowiska badawczego. Badania tribologiczne wykonano w temperaturze pokojowej dla jednej prędkości ruchu względnego. Określono wpływ stężenia wybranego PE w bazie olejowej SN-150 na ubytek masy badanych próbek. Analizę statystyczną wykonano w oparciu o program R.

Owczarstwo jest gałęzią gospodarki rolnej, która w ostatnim 20-leciu przeżywała duży regres. Nastąpił głęboki i relatywnie trwały spadek pogłowia, a nawet zanika chów owiec w wielu subregionach kraju, w których przed laty produkcja ta odgrywała znaczącą rolę. Zmniejszeniu pogłowia owiec zwykle towarzyszyło zmniejszenie pogłowia bydła, co spowodowało narastanie problemu porzucania użytkowania trwałych użytków zielonych oraz odłogowania i ugorowania ziemi, jej zakrzaczenie i naturalne zalesianie. Owce mogą ponownie stać się cennym gatunkiem restytucji produkcyjnego wykorzystania terenów rolniczych, ich produktywizacji i dostarczania miejsc pracy i dochodów ludności miejscowej. Jest to szczególnie ważne na obszarach górzystych w naturalny sposób predestynowanych do produkcji zwierzęcej, w tym gór terenów podgórskich Małopolski. W opracowaniu wskazano na spektrum korzyści wynikających z przywrócenia chowu owiec, w tym ich wypasu kulturowego i komercyjno-kulturowego. Podjęto także problem skali niedoboru pogłowia inwentarza trawożernego w Małopolsce. Z badań wynika, że rezerwy paszowe są obecnie bardzo duże, a niedobór inwentarza trawożernego w Małopolsce wynosi ponad 220 tys. DJP, tj. ok. 123% obecnego stanu inwentarza, w tym ok. 100,7% stanu pogłowia owiec.
Sheep-farming is the branch of agricultural economy which in the last 2 decades has faced a serious regress. It should be noted that a deep and relatively stable decrease in sheep population has occurred. Moreover, the sheep breeding in many sub-regions of Poland, where years ago their production played a significant role, is also disappearing. The decrease in sheep population has been usually concomitant with the decrease in cattle population which has finally resulted in the increasing problem of abandonment of grasslands, the process of land being brownfielded and fallowed, and the process of land forestation and shrubs. Sheeps can again become unique species of animal reintroduction for productive usage of agricultural areas, their productiveness, and the provision of both workplace and local population incomes. These premises are particularly significant for mountainous areas, including mountains and foothills in the Małopolska Province, which are naturally predestined for animal production. In the analysis the emphasis has been put on the wide array of benefits which result from the sheep breeding reintroduction, including both cultural and commercial-cultural sheep pasture. Problem concerning the scale of sheep population shortage in the herbivorous livestock in Małopolska Province has also been tackled. The conducted analysis have shown that feed reserves are currently enormous, whereas the shortage of herbivorous livestock in Małopolska Province amounts to over 220 thousand. LU, that is 123% of a current state of livestock, including about 100,7% of sheep population state.

W pracy przedstawiono zagadnienia dotyczące określenia zależności matematycznej pomiędzy prędkością skrawania, a parametrem chropowatości Ra. Wykazano, że istnieje silna ujemna korelacja między w/w badanymi zmiennymi.
In this paper investigations concerning the determination of the mathematical relationship between the cutting speed and the roughness parameter Ra were presented. A strong negative correlation between the studied variables was demonstrated.

In this article the form and function of the anaphoric and cataphoric intratextual references in a legal text are examined. Such references include, but are not limited to, the cohesion of a text and contribute to the understanding of the text. 29 habilitation regulations of various German universities are used as a basis for examination. References appear as phrases and dependent clauses, with prepositional phrases being most common. Heads of such phrases are usually formed by the prepositions gemäß (according to) and the synonymous nach, followed by phrases which are subject to the grammaticalization process, e.g. im Sinne (as defined by/ in the meaning of). Syntactically, such references function as attributes of different levels. Occasionally, adverbials occur as well. We consider the analyzed references to be a hallmark of legal texts, which are among the most important means of coherence. In the case of habilitation regulations, it must also be taken into account that readers usually choose certain text passages (text contents) according to their interests. In such a case, the references help to ensure that the necessary knowledge is conveyed relatively completely by means of references to other text parts, thereby achieving the individual reading goal of the recipient.

W artykule przedstawiono analizę statystyczną zmiany poboru mocy elektrycznej stanowiska tribologicznego w wyniku procesu zużywania pary kinematycznej o styku konforemnym, pracującej w obecności preparatu eksploatacyjnego PE o zdefiniowanym składzie. Omówiono warunki badań oraz budowę stanowiska badawczego. Badania tribologiczne wykonano w temperaturze pokojowej dla jednej prędkości ruchu względnego. Określono wpływ stężenia wybranego PE w bazie olejowej SN-150 na zmianę poboru mocy elektrycznej tribotesteru dla wybranej prędkości ruchu względnego. Analizę statystyczną wykonano w oparciu o program R.

Praca poświęcona jest efektywności ekonomicznej nawożenia siarkowego na plonowanie życicy mieszańcowej uprawianej w monokulturze i mieszance z koniczyną białą. Zastosowano dwa poziomy nawożenia azotem w dawkach 50 i 100 kg N·ha-1 i dwa nawozy siarkowe Arysta siarka i Pro-siarka w dawkach 5, 10, 15 kg S·ha-1. Badania wykazały, iż nawożenie siarką było opłacalne i ekonomicznie efektywne. Stwierdzono, że połączenie nawożenia siarką z nawożeniem azotem może prowadzić do znacznego wzrostu plonów. Efekty stosowania przyjętych do badań nawozów siarkowych były różne pomimo takich samych parametrów. Nawóz Arysta siarka najkorzystniejsze efekty produkcyjno-ekonomiczne wywoływał po zastosowaniu dawki 10 kg S∙ha-1, bez względu na poziom nawożenia azotem. Z kolei nawóz Pro-siarka w dawce 15 kg S∙ha-1 wywoływał najwyższe efekty w roślinności trawiastej. W przypadku mieszanki trawy z koniczyną najwyższe plony stwierdzono także przy nawożeniu 15 kg S∙ha-1, w połączeniu z nawożeniem azotem ilości 50 kg N·ha-1. Wzrost nawożenia azotowego do 100 kg powodował jednak zmniejszanie efektywności nawożenia siarką.
The paper discusses the economic efficiency of sulphur fertilization on the yield of ryegrasses cultivated in monoculture and in a mixture with white clover. Two levels of nitrogen fertilization were used in doses of 50 and 100 kg N•ha-1 and two sulphur fertilizers, Arysta siarka and Pro-siarka in doses of 5, 10, 15 kg S•ha-1. The research shows that sulphur fertilization was profitable and economically effective. It was found that the combination of sulphur fertilization with nitrogen fertilization may result in significant yield increase. The effects of sulphur fertilizers adopted for research differed despite the same parameters. Arysta siarka fertilizer produced the most effective production and economic results if the 10 kg S∙ha-1 dosage was used regardless of the nitrogen fertilization level whereas Pro-siarka fertilizer (15 kg S∙ha-1 dosage) produced the highest yield in regard of grass plants. In the case of the mixture of grass and white clover, the highest yield was produced also in regard of the 15 kg S∙ha-1dosage in combination with the nitrogen fertilization of 50 kg N•ha-1. The increase of nitrogen fertilization up to 100 kg, however, led to the decline in the effectiveness of sulphur fertilization.
