Opis:
A simple and coumarin-based fluorescence probe has been designed and synthesized with silyl group as recognition group of fluoride ions (F−) in this study. The results showed that the fluorescence intensity of the probe displayed prominent enhancement with addition of F− at 445 nm with incubation of 1 min. There was an excellent linear relationship between fluorescence intensity and fluoride concentration from 0 to 30 μM (0~0.57 ppm), which offered the important condition for the quantitative analysis. In addition, the highly selective response to fluorion, the low detection limit with 28 nM (0.532 ppb), low toxicity and bioimaging afforded an advantage for practical application and detecting fluoride in biological systerms.

Opis:
Three kinds of precursor thin films with stacking orders of Cu/Sn/ZnS, Cu/Sn/ZnS/Cu/Sn/ZnS and Cu/Sn/ZnS/Cu/Sn/ZnS/Cu/Sn/ZnS were prepared by magnetron sputtering and annealed with sulfur powder. The microstructure, morphology and optical properties of thin films were investigated by X-ray diffraction, the Raman scattering, scanning electron microscopy and UV-visible spectrophotometer. The increase of cycle number decreases the sulfurizing temperature of the formation of Cu₂ZnSnS₄ phase. Chemical composition can be controlled by cycle sputtering deposition. After sulfurizing at 500°C, the particle size and the band gap increase with increasing cycle number.

Opis:
$Fe_{75}Co_5Zr_{10}B_{10}$ amorphous alloy prepared by melt-spinning was annealed at various temperatures. The thermal property and microstructures were investigated by differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction, and transmission electron microscopy. The crystallization process of $Fe_{75}Co_5Zr_{10}B_{10}$ amorphous alloy is complex. The α-Fe phase precipitates from the amorphous matrix in the initial stage of crystallization. The α-Mn type (χ) phase precipitates at 570°C, but transforms to α-Fe phase and the Laves C14(λ) phase at higher temperature. In the final stage of crystallization, $Fe_3Zr$, $Fe_2Zr$, and unknown phases are observed and the λ-phase disappears. The α-Fe phase preferentially nucleates after annealing at 530C for 10 min and the χ-phase preferentially nucleates after annealing at 600C for 10 min. The nucleation barrier of χ-phase is larger than that of α-Fe phase. The local structure of χ-phase is more similar to amorphous phase.

Opis:
Fluid inclusions in halite can directly record the major composition of evaporated seawater; however, Ordovician halite is very rare. The Ordovician is a key time during the evolution history because profound changes occurred in the planet’s ecosystems. Marine life was characterized by a major diversification, the Great Ordovician Biodiversification Event and the Late Ordovician Mass Extinction, the first of the “big five” mass extinctions. However, so far there is no data on the Ordovician seawater. Data from the Ordovician-Silurian boundary were available only. In this study, we report the major compositions from Middle Ordovician halite in China to give the exact composition of Ordovician seawater. The basic ion composition (K+, Mg2+, Ca2+, and SO42-) of inclusion brines was established with the use of ultramicrochemical analysis. The data on the chemical composition of the brines in the primary inclusions indicated that the brines were of Na-K-Mg-Ca-Cl (Ca-rich) type, and cover a huge gap in the evolution of seawater chemistry. The chemical composition of the primary inclusion brine in halite confirmed the earlier results for the Cambrian and Silurian halite originating from other salt basins and the previous speculation of “calcite sea” during the Ordovician, indicating a higher potassium content in the Lower Paleozoic seawater than in the seawater of other periods of the Phanerozoic.
