Sustainable development - Opis:
-
We współczesnym świecie dominuje neoliberalny paradygmat rozwoju.
The modern world is dominated by neo-liberal paradigm of development. The concept of sustainable development is not an alternative to this paradigm, only it extends and refines. Still the key place takes an economic development, understood as economic growth. In a society there is resistance to the radical paradigm shift, since it would involve the necessity of reconstruction of socio-economic system. The concept of sustainable development is of particular importance for the development of rural areas. However, the possibility of its implementation depends on the level of socio-economic development of the country. The chances of its implementation have the post-industrial society. Poland has not yet reached the level of development, to facilitate effective implementation of the principles of sustainable development. The efficiency of agriculture is still lower than the EU average, while an increase in economic efficiency of agriculture in Poland is not indicated, because of the negative social effects that it brings. Summarizing the rural areas must develop in an evolutionary way, with strong support from the public sector, which should create formal institutions preferring development of the area. - Źródło:
