supplier - Opis:
- The global supply chain is a sequence of events and the movement of goods to meet the demand for specific products. The simplest chain consists of three components - supplier, enterprise, recipient. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the supply chain has been disrupted. We will present an example of a household appliance company and the impact of the pandemic on this business. The components are obtained from suppliers from all over the world, so that the company and its production cycle are not disturbed, timely deliveries should be planned. Unfortunately, due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, timeliness was disturbed, which meant that companies relying on one supplier had to acquire new ones in order to be able to implement production plans and fulfill orders on time. Taking the example of a household appliance company, we can say that the pandemic in the supply chain has affected the most: organization of deliveries, compliance with notifications, disturbances in production planning, execution of orders in according to the schedule and financial organization.
