    Erasmus mobility is one of the most important manifestations of internationalization of education in Europe. The aim of the study is to ascertain the participants’ motives and the benefits coming from this international exchange of students as well as to diversify the results with regard to gender. The article, in its theoretical part, characterizes the concept of internationalization of education, describes the factors motivating for educational mobility, the benefits and the barriers of participation. The empirical part contains own researches carried out on a group of 125 students from Polish and foreign universities, using the CAWI (Computer-Assisted Web Interview) tool. It turns out that the main motivators to participate in student international education mobility is, among women, desire to travel as well as development of language skills. Men are mainly motivated by having fun and good time. Regardless of the research results it can be noticed that, generally, employers are more likely to decide to hire people who participated in and international student exchange, and the risk of long-term unemployment among graduates with international experience is lower by half than among graduates without such international experience. On the other hand, internationalization of education involves risks, including commercial profits, academic colonization and difficulties in providing high-quality education.

    Celem artykułu jest rozpoznanie podstawowych problemów, które wpływają na logistyczne uwarunkowania zarządzania kryzysowego. Część teoretyczna dotyczy istoty logistyki kryzysowej oraz problemów, ograniczeń i wyzwań występujących w humanitarnych łańcuchach dostaw. Potwierdzeniem zasadności rozpoznanych na podstawie literatury problemów jest część empiryczna pracy. Próbę badawczą stanowią podmioty uczestniczące w działaniach z zakresu zarządzania kryzysowego. Badania przeprowadzono za pomocą metody sondażu diagnostycznego oraz technik ankietowych: PAPI (Papier and Pencil Interview) i CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interview). W czasie trwania badań od grudnia 2019 r. do lutego 2020 r. respondenci wskazali krytyczne obszary zarządzania kryzysowego w kontekście logistycznego zabezpieczenia obszaru objętego zagrożeniem. Z operacyjnego punktu widzenia w badanym obszarze występują liczne ograniczenia, do których zalicza się m.in.: słabą komunikację, koordynację i synchronizację działań podmiotów sieci zarządzania kryzysowego; zwykle ograniczone zasoby finansowe, osobowe, rzeczowe i informacyjne; coraz większe urynkowienie organizacji pozarządowych; duży poziom rotacji pracowników oraz brak wskaźników, które umożliwiałyby analizę i ocenę działań.
    The goal of this paper is to pinpoint and recognise the basic problems that affect logistical determinants of crisis management. The theoretical part looks at the essence of crisis logistics, and the problems, barriers and challenges that occur in humanitarian supply chains. The empirical part of the paper deals with the validity of the identified issues based on the subject literature. The research sample consists of subjects participating in crisis management activities. The research was conducted by means of a diagnostic poll method with the application of a survey techniques called Paper and Pencil Interview, and Computer Assisted Personal Interview. The research was carried out in the period from December 2019 to February 2020 and allowed the respondents to identify the critical areas of crisis management. From an operational point of view, in the studied area, there are numerous barriers and restrictions which include poor communication, coordination and synchronization of crisis management network subjects, frequently limited financial, personal, material and information resources, increasing marketization of non-governmental organizations, a high level of employee turnover, and the lack of indicators that would allow a further analysis and the assessment of the activities.

    Introduction/background: This paper identifies the level of interest in the issues of humanitarian supply chains, as well as in which disciplines and journals the research results on this subject are published. The study results show the development of research issues on humanitarian supply chains and research areas by authors and keywords. Aim of the paper: This paper aims to identify current and emerging research on humanitarian supply chains. Materials and methods: This goal was achieved by conducting a bibliometric analysis. Results and conclusions: As a result, it was established that the research issues of humanitarian supply chains developed on the basis of humanitarian logistics and nowadays are of high interest among researchers and practitioners. Scientific landscape analysis points to the key research areas on the humanitarian supply chain and the need to intensify research on resilience, sustainability, digital technologies, and the performance of humanitarian supply chains.

    Celem artykułu jest analiza przygotowania logistycznego podmiotów uczestniczących w działaniach niesienia pomocy humanitarnej. Część teoretyczna dotyczy znaczenia logistyki w pomocy humanitarnej. Część empiryczną stanowią przeprowadzone w 2021 r. badania na grupie podmiotów uczestniczących w działaniach pomocy humanitarnej. Badania przeprowadzono metodą sondażu diagnostycznego, techniką ankietową PAPI (Papier and Pencil Interview) oraz CAPI (Computer-Assisted Personal Interview). Organizacje, które wzięły udział w badaniu, pozytywnie oceniły swój stan przygotowania do działań logistycznych w ramach niesienia pomocy humanitarnej. Okazuje się, że w badanych organizacjach pracują specjaliści odpowiedzialni za przedsięwzięcia logistyczne i zazwyczaj zajmują kierownicze stanowiska. Z badań wynika, że warto zwrócić uwagę na dostarczane środki pomocowe, ponieważ w wielu przypadkach są one niezgodne z potrzebami poszkodowanych.
    The goal of this paper is to analyze the logistic preparation of entities participating in humanitarian aid activities. The theoretical part looks at the importance of logistics in humanitarian aid. The empirical part of the paper consists of research with entities that participate in humanitarian aid activities in Poland. The research was conducted by means of a diagnostic poll method with the application of a survey techniques called Paper and Pencil Interview, and Computer-Assisted Personal Interview. The research was carried out in 2021. The organizations that took part in the research positively assess their state of logistic preparation for providing humanitarian aid. It turns out that the surveyed organizations employ specialists responsible for logistics and usually those specialists hold managerial positions. The research shows that it is worth paying attention to the proper distribution of relief items, because it happens that relief items are incompatible with the needs of the victims.
