    Opis:
    Purpose: The purpose of the study was to identify waste in the selected health care facility, the types and sources of events that trigger it, and to indicate possibilities to shorten time in which patients wait for help. Material and Methods: The case study was an Emergency Department located in the Province of Silesia. The Issue is many hour queues at the Emergency Departments. Results: Time to receive medical treatment is too long. Not only are high-risk patients being taken care of, but also patients who did not manage to visit their family doctor (General Practitioner - GP). Conclusions: The authoresses formulated a thesis that there are possibilities to shorten the waiting time for medical services at the Emergency Department.

    Opis:
    Auditing is the antidote to the crisis of confidence to the other side. Requires activation of impartial, independent sides to ensure a higher degree of objectification assessment processes, including the conduct of their risks. The purpose of the audit is to ensure, by providing evidence that the organization has a „make it before the error”. Besides, it has set up to improve the management system mechanism for the organization to be more reliable. The paper presents the criteria determining the quality of the quality and financial auditing systems. The author argues that the criteria for assessing the audit quality are the same for all types of audits, regardless of the type, area and scope of the audit. In her opinion the criteria for assessing the quality of the system audit quality and financial audit are the same. The problem is that the interpretation of the situational context and audited matter.
    Audyt jest antidotum na kryzys zaufania do strony drugiej. Wymaga uruchomienia bezstronnych, niezależnych stron gwarantujących wyższy stopień obiektywizacji oceny procesów, w tym postępowania z ich ryzykiem. Celem audytu jest zapewnienie, poprzez dostarczenie dowodów, że organizacja „zdąży przed błędem”, szerzej przed niezgodnością. Poza tym ma uruchomić mechanizm doskonalenia systemu zarządzania dla bycia organizacją bardziej niezawodną, tak w wymiarze operacyjnym jak i strategicznym. W opracowaniu przedstawiono kryteria wyznaczające jakość audytu systemu jakości, jak i audytu finansowego. Dowiedziono, że kryteria oceny jakości audytów są identyczne dla wszystkich rodzajów audytów bez względu na typ, obszar i zakres audytu. W szczególności kryteria oceny jakości audytu systemu jakości i audytu finansowego są takie same. Inna jest interpretacja kontekstu sytuacyjnego oraz specyfika audytowanej materii.

    Introduction and objective. The healthcare system is positioned in the patient’s environment and works with other determinants of the treatment. Patient care requires a whole system compatible to the needs of organizational and technical solutions. The purpose of this study is to present a new model of patient-oriented care, in which the use of information and communication technology (ICT) can improve the effectiveness of healthcare for patients with chronic diseases. Material and methods. The study material is the process of healthcare for chronically ill patients. Knowledge of the circumstances surrounding ecosystem and of the patients’ needs, taking into account the fundamental healthcare goals allows us to build a new models of care, starting with the economic assumptions. The method used is modeling the construction of efficient healthcare system with the patient-centered model using ICT tools. Results. We present a new systemic concept of building patient’s environment in which he is the central figure of the healthcare organization – so called patient centered system. The use of ICT in the model of chronic patient’s healthcare can improve the effectiveness of this kind of care. The concept is a vision to making wide platform of information management in chronic disease in a real environment ecosystem of patient using ICT tools. Conclusions. On the basis of a systematic approach to the model of chronic disease, and the knowledge of the patient itself, a model of the ecosystem impacts and interactions through information feedback and the provision of services can be constructed. ICT assisted techniques will increase the effectiveness of patient care, in which nowadays information exchange plays a key role.
