In view of the size and the change of the load force of the conveyor belt at the turning point of the plane turning belt conveyor, the influencing factors of the stress of the conveyor belt at the turning point of the plane turning belt conveyor under full load condition are analyzed. A three dimensional model of the turning point of the plane turning belt conveyor is established. Combined with previous research experience, the formula for calculating the load is put forward. Based on discrete element method, multiple sets of internal curve elevation angle and the belt speed are used for dynamic simulation analysis. The results showed that the middle of conveyor belt is the most stressed, the lateral force second, the force of the inner conveyor belt is the least. Outside force increases with the increase of speed; there is no change in the middle band; the inner band force decreases with the increase of the velocity. Outside force decreases with the decrease of the inclination angle. With the change of the inclination angle, the force is basically unchanged. With the decreasing of the inclination angle, the force increases gradually. By optimizing the design parameters of the plane turning belt conveyor, the force of belt is reduced, and the service life of belt is improved.

In order to release the lateral force of pipe conveyor belt in vertical transportation, the thesis had a study of the lateral force of the conveyor belt. By making use of Janssen Principles and fractal theory, based on reasonable simplification, the author established a mathematical model of the lateral force in vertical transportation, and with the research foundation of the pipe belt conveyor for underground transportation, through solution analysis, the author found out that the change of material diameter would lead to nonlinear variation of the lateral force of the conveyor belt. Under the circumstances of different material diameter, discrete element method was adopted to simulate the lateral force of the conveyor belt, thus working out the distribution curve chart of the lateral force. To verify the reliability of the theory, the author built an experimental platform for pipe conveyor belt in vertical transportation, and experimented with five groups of materials in different diameter, working out the strain of lateral force of the characteristic conveyor belt; by comparing the theoretical result, the simulation result and the experimental result, it showed that the solution to relieving lateral force through optimization selection of material diameter put forward in this thesis was reasonable and effective. It provides theoretical reference for the design of pipe belt conveyor.

Opis:
Communication atmosphere based on emotional states of humans and robots is modeled by using Fuzzy Atmosfield (FA), where the human emotion is estimated from bimodal communication cues (i.e., speech and gesture) using weighted fusion and fuzzy logic, and the robot emotion is generated by emotional expression synthesis. It makes possible to quantitatively express overall affective expression of individuals, and helps to facilitate smooth communication in humans-robots interaction. Experiments in a household environment are performed by four humans and five eye robots, where emotion recognition of humans based on bimodal cues achieves 84% accuracy in average, improved by about 10% compared to that using only speech. Experimental results from the model of communication atmosphere based on the FA are evaluated by comparing with questionnaire surveys, from which the maximum error of 0.25 and the minimum correlation coefficient of 0.72 for three axes in the FA confirm the validity of the proposal. In ongoing work, an atmosphere representation system is being planned for casual communication between humans and robots, taking into account multiple emotional modalities such as speech, gesture, and music.

Aiming at the problem of inaccurate and time-consuming of the fault diagnosis method for large-scale ship engine, an intelligent diagnosis method for large-scale ship engine fault in non-deterministic environment based on neural network is proposed. First, the possible fault of the engine was analyzed, and the downtime fault of large-scale ship engine and the main fault mode were identified. On this basis, the fault diagnosis model for large-scale ship engine based on neural network is established, and the intelligent diagnosis of engine fault is completed. The experiment proved that the proposed method has high diagnostic accuracy, engine fault diagnosis takes only about 3s, with a higher use value.

In this paper a composite reinforced with biaxial warp-knitted fabric and epoxy resin was manufactured by applying vacuum assisted resin transfer moldings (VARTM). The quasi-static tensile behaviour was experimentally tested in 0° and 90° directions, respectively. A finite element model of biaxial warp-knitted composites was developed on a meso-scale. The tensile behaviour of the composites was numerical simulated and compared with the experimental results. It showed that there is an approximate agreement between experimental and numerical results. There are maximum errors sum of squares of 14.52% and 33.29%. The finite element model of biaxial warp-knitted composites has higher accuracy, which can be used to study the static and dynamic mechanical properties.
Wykonano kompozyt wzmocniony dwuosiową dzianiną osnowową i żywicą epoksydową z zastosowaniem próżniowego przenoszenia żywicy (VARTM). Quasi-statyczne właściwości rozciągania badano doświadczalnie odpowiednio w kierunkach 0° i 90°. Opracowano model skończonych elementów dwuosiowych kompozytów z dzianinami. Dokonano symulacji numerycznej zachowania kompozytów podczas rozciągania, a następnie porównano wyniki teoretyczne z wynikami eksperymentalnymi. Wykazano, że istnieje przybliżona zgodność między wynikami eksperymentalnymi i liczbowymi. Stwierdzono, że błędy maksymalne błędy kształtują się na poziomie 14,52% i 33,29%. Zaprezentowany model elementów skończonych ma wysoką dokładność i można go wykorzystać do badania statycznych i dynamicznych właściwości mechanicznych kompozytów.

W artykule przedstawiamy ramy modelowania i symulacji ukierunkowanego na realizację misji Systemu Zabezpieczenia Materiałowego Jednostki Bojowej (Combat Unit Material Support System, CUMSS). Opisujemy proces zabezpieczania materiałowego, analizujemy jego charakterystyki i optymalizujemy zasoby. Prezentowany model opiera się na obszernej analizie procesu eksploatacji oraz procesu wykorzystania zasobów. Skonstruowano strukturę federacyjną i model obiektowy federacji dla zabezpieczenia materiałowego jednostki bojowej. Przedstawiono, na podstawie przykładowej misji, federacje dla zdarzeń dyskretnych, zdarzeń ciągłych i procesu podejmowania decyzji. Do analizy charakterystyk CUMSS w przedstawionym przykładzie misji użyto symulacji.
In this paper, we present a framework for modeling and simulation of a mission-oriented Combat Unit Materiel Support System (CUMSS). We describe the process of materiel support, analyze its performance, and optimize the resources. This model is based on a comprehensive analysis of the maintenance process and the resource utilization process. A federation framework and a federation object model are constructed for combat unit materiel support. For an example, mission, we provide the federations for the discrete events, the continuous events, and the decision-making process. Simulation is used to analyze the performance of CUMSS for this example mission.

The integration of renewable energy sources in modern electric grids have drawn increasing attention nowadays. In order to effectively manage large-scale renewable energy sources and achieve flexible and efficient operation, the concept of microgrids have been proposed. Considering the nature of DC outputs in many distributed energy resources (DERs), DC microgrids have been extensively studied in the past years. Among the operational issues in DC microgrids, current sharing issues have become an important topic since it is highly relevant to the operation of DC microgrids. By adopting a proper design of current sharing strategy in DC microgrids, the current rating violations in each interface converter can be successfully avoided. In this paper, a looped-chainbased active current sharing strategy is proposed to realize high accuracy current sharing in DC microgrids. In particular, the output current is shared between the neighboring interface converters. Hence, following a clockwise or counter-clockwise order, a loopedchain- based control diagram can be established to share the reference value of the output current. A final status in the whole DC microgrid is that the output current of every interface converter is equalized. Hence, the desired current sharing objective can be satisfied. A MATLAB simulation model is established to verify the proposed loopedchain- based active current sharing strategy in DC microgrids.

This paper presents a Kalman filter based method for diagnosing both parametric and catastrophic faults in analog circuits. Two major innovations are presented, i.e., the Kalman filter based technique, which can significantly improve the efficiency of diagnosing a fault through an iterative structure, and the Shannon entropy to mitigate the influence of component tolerance. Both these concepts help to achieve higher performance and lower testing cost while maintaining the circuit.s functionality. Our simulations demonstrate that using the Kalman filter based technique leads to good results of fault detection and fault location of analog circuits. Meanwhile, the parasitics, as a result of enhancing accessibility by adding test points, are reduced to minimum, that is, the data used for diagnosis is directly obtained from the system primary output pins in our method. The simulations also show that decision boundaries among faulty circuits have small variations over a wide range of noise-immunity requirements. In addition, experimental results show that the proposed method is superior to the test method based on the subband decomposition combined with coherence function, arisen recently.

The success of a tree breeding program largely depended on the available genetic variability of the germplasms. Our present study aimed to assess the phenotypic variation and DNA variability using sequence-related amplified polymorphism (SRAP) markers among 50 Cunninghamia lanceolata (Chinese fir) genotypes. Extensive phenotypic variations (p < 0.05 or 0.01) were found for all the growth and wood property traits (height, diameter at breast height, stem volume, and wood basic density, hygroscopicity, heart-wood ratio, tracheid length, tracheid diameter and tracheid length-diameter ratio) with coefficients of variation spanning from 6.8 to 31.3%. At the DNA level, thirty-five SRAP primer combinations produced 498 bands with 89.4% polymorphism across genotypes; moreover, the Nei’s gene diversity was detected to be ranged between 0.204 and 0.373 (mean = 0.279), while the Shannon’s Information Index stretched from 0.324 to 0.555 with an average value of 0.427. Significance (p < 0.01) of the variability of SRAP polymorphism among genotypes was further demonstrated by AMOVA. These results indicated a relatively high level of genetic diversity in genotypes. The SRAP’ dendrogram additionally revealed that these genotypes could be split into 7 clusters with higher discriminating capacity over that of phenotype. Notably, a total of 99 statistically significant (p < 0.05) marker-trait associations related to the growth and wood property traits were identified. These marker-trait associations corresponded to 77 different SRAP markers with R2 (percentage of the phenotypic variation explained by marker) ranging from 8.3 to 26.4%.
