Opis:
Ensuring safety of railway traffic is one of the most important goals of every state. All incidents connected with security that take place in the networks of railway lines result in taking actions aimed at elimination of similar situations in the future. The elements affecting security of the railway system include: technical condition of railway infrastructure and rolling stock, applicable law, people, that is, professional qualifications and proper performance of tasks by the workers. The authors formulated the following research problem: what are the strengths of railway security, and what should be improved? The methodology of qualitative analysis was applied. The survey research on the level of security and diagnostics of causes, needs and options of improvement of security in rail transport were conducted. Broad analysis and inference were conducted. The directions of improvement of security in supervisory, technical, organizational and operational terms in railway transport were presented in this article.

Transport is one of the key elements allowing to achieve goals, tasks and plans. Transport need results from the necessity of moving from one place to another. To make it happen, the resource in the form of a means of transport is necessary. Another aspect is organizational actions. The basic source of transport demand is diversity of distribution of the factors allowing to run business. Due to globalization of economy, range and frequency of transports have considerably increased. New logistic chains, networks of terminals and intermodal connections are being created every year. The goal of all these actions is to reduce transport costs and improve the whole process. The authors of this article set a goal of defining the role of optimization of transport costs using a consolidation service. Conducted analysis confirmed that consolidation services reduce the costs of transport of small cargos.

The escalating globalization of the market, increased competitiveness and the necessity to intensify actions directed at an appropriate level of logistics customer service, as well as the growth in provided services, are the most important strategic decisions made by transport enterprises. The tendency of transport enterprises to ensure fluidity of supplies and reduce the costs of transport processes requires the use of innovative technologies, which allow companies to improve the control of transport services. Enterprises plan transport services to minimize the costs. Therefore, looking for and implementing new solutions, which have an impact on increasing the efficiency of transport processes, are driving forces for every transport company. In this article, the authors conducted an analysis of the process of providing transport services in a specific enterprise. The authors also show that transport processes may be improved through the implementation of innovative monitoring system.

W artykule autorzy przeprowadzili badania procesu transportowego na obiekcie rzeczywistym. Badaniom poddali trasę Jasło-Berlin-Szczecin-Jasło implementując system monitoringu, w celu usprawnienia procesu przewozowego. W wyniku analizy przedstawiono praktyczne aspekty planowania, organizowania i koordynowania transportu.
The transport of cargo forces appropriate experience from the freight forwarder in planning and implementing the transport process, as the fundamental goal of managing the transport process is to constantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of freight organization while ensuring the highest of customer service. In the article, the authors carried out research of a transport process on a real object. The Jasło-Berlin-Szczecin-Jasło route was subject to research by implementing a monitoring system for the purposes of freight improvement. The analysis presents practical aspects of planning, organizing and coordinating transport.

The authors of this article presented technologies of spreading coatings over structural details of automated guided vehicles used in the handling terminals. Technological process of painting with the use of powder paints was presented, as well as innovative methods of surface preparation with the use of BONDERITE M‐NT 2011 technology and OXILAN 9807 preparation. Modern methods of surface preparation with production of silane conversion coatings were presented and analysed. The authors of this article selected a system of guaranteed power supply of the processing lines. ABCUS software was applied to check the time of battery backup of UPS units in selected N+1 system.

Rozwój gospodarczy wywołuje coraz większą potrzebę przemieszczania odpadów. W związku z tym gospodarowanie odpadami nierozerwalnie wspierane jest poprzez działania logistyczne. Menadżerowie mając również świadomość, że transport odpadów wymaga skrupulatnych planów logistycznych, tworzonych w celu nie tylko realizacji usług na najwyższych standardach, ale również wydajnej pracy całego przedsiębiorstwa dużą rolę przywiązują do jakości świadczonych usług. Dlatego koncentracja wokół problematyki działalności firm transportowych stała się istotna ze względu na jakość świadczenia usług. W artykule autorzy przeprowadzili badania procesów przewozowych na obiekcie rzeczywistym. Badaniom poddali dwie trasy w relacji Jasło-Odense-Police-Jasło oraz Jasło-Berlin-Police-Jasło, w których zaimplementowali system monitoringu w celu usprawnienia procesów przewozowych. W rezultacie tego typu działania przyczyniają się do rozwoju przedsiębiorstwa, dając pewność funkcjonowania na rynku transportowym, a z racji tego, że klienci wymagają elastyczości, szybkości działania i kompleksowej obsługi zleceń transportowych w ramach realizacji dostaw w systemie Just-in-Time i Door-to-Door, staje się ona newralgicznym elementem egzystencji przedsiębiorstwa transportowego.
Economic development evokes an increasing need to transport waste. Therefore, waste management is inextricably supported by logistics activities. Being aware that transport of waste requires meticulous logistics plans, created not only to provide services at the highest standards, but also to efficient work of the whole company, managers attach great importance to the quality of services provided. Therefore, concentration around the issues of transport companies' operations has become important due to the quality of services. In the article, the authors performed research on the transport processes on a real object. The Jasło-Odense- Police-Jasło and Jasło-Berlin-Police-Jasło routes were subject to research; it included implementation of a monitoring system for the purposes of improvement in freight processes. As a result, these types of activities contribute to the company's development, providing certainty on the transport market, and due to the fact that customers require flexibiity, speed of operation and comprehensive handling of transport orders as part of Just-in-Time and Door-to-Door Door delivery, it becomes a crucial element of the transport company's existence.

In this article, the authors present selected standards describing EMC compatibility in the field of automation and robotics. The analysis of the specificities of disturbance effects on robotic technology lines. They demonstrated the ability to achieve acceptable compatibility and how to reduce the sources and forces of EMC interactions.

This article concerns the issue of reduction of CO2 emission in hybrid vehicles. External lighting through LED technology was applied to show additional CO2 savings in these vehicles. The authors propose for hybrid vehicles of M1 category: conditions of testing external lights, research equipment with measuring system and measuring method in order to determine energy savings obtained by application of external LED light. It enables to calculate saving of CO2 emission and estimate potential energy and ecological benefits. Computational formulas of CO2 emission savings and calculated fuel consumption and percentage reduction of CO2 proposed by the authors were used as a confirmation. Average worktime of lighting and three configurations of sources of lighting of hybrid vehicles were used in the analysis: halogen bulb/bulb, xenon/LED lamp and full electroluminescent external lighting.

There are a number of mobile robot solutions that have found use in the field of science and technology. Thanks to the functions of the robot, it is possible to know the principle of operation of the sensors and their possible use in practice. In the article, the authors presented mobile robot software and created algorithms facilitating the understanding of programming nature in mOwayWorld environment.

The ultimate goal of managing the transport process is to meet the needs of customers in the best way possible by continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization of the process. In connection with the above, monitoring, analysis, design, optimization, as well as efficient and effective control of the transportation process make it possible to implement a plan to deliver the goods to a customer in the Just-In-Time system. In the article, the authors performed research on the transport process on a real object. They also carried out an analysis using a monitoring system to streamline the transport process.

In the article the authors presented the issues of intermodal transport in the aspect of ecological safety. The profile of branches of transport witch create the structure of intermodal transport’s system was presented. The factors responsible for processes of environmental degradation were discussed. The movement of cargo in Poland fulfilled as a part of intermodal transport was also portrayed.

Transport plays an important role in national economies and impacts on economic development. The scale of the transportation of goods that may be dangerous to humans and the environment is expanding every year. Overall, transport is dangerous for the environment and road users, causing the increased emission of pollutants, accidents and traffic collisions. The rise in demand of basic materials, such as petrol and diesel, has led to a growth in the transport of dangerous goods, which in turn has increased the risk of road accidents. The research method used in this article involves an analysis of the inspection rates regarding the transport of dangerous goods by road in the EU and related legal documents.

Przedstawiono charakterystykę ofert standardowych oraz realizowanych w trybie ekspresowym. Artykuł zawiera również opis bogatej oferty usług dodatkowych, a także nowych propozycji, pojawiających się na rynku kurierskim. Przedstawiono ogólną sytuację oraz zmiany zachodzące w segmencie branży KEP, a także omówiono również niektóre z czynników, odpowiedzialnych za rozwój rozpatrywanego sektora.
In Poland courier services market is still in the stage of development comparing to Western European countries. In the EU countries the use of courier services per one citizen is several times higher than in Poland. It means that in our country the branch is still intensely developing. In this article the authors presented the range of courier services provided on the domestic and international market. The characteristics of standard offers and those filled in express mode were presented. The article also contains the description of rich offer of additional services as well as new proposals which appears on courier services market. The general situation and changes occuring in the courier branch were presented. Also some of the factors responsible for the development of examined sector were discussed.

The changes have an impact on the amount of return from regulated income of enterprises that distribute electric energy. In the new system, failure to fulfil the conditions and indices results in a decrease of return on capital for the DSOs
