Opis:: Celem artykułu jest prezentacja podstawowych norm graficzno-ortograficznych przyjętych przy zapisie cerkiewnosłowiańskich ekwiwalentów haseł zarejestrowanych w „Słowniku polskiej terminologii prawosławnej”, realizowanego w ramach programu Ministra Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego pod nazwą „Narodowy Program Rozwoju Humanistyki” w latach 2017-2022 (konkurs I/2016, moduł Dziedzictwo narodowe, wniosek 11H 16 0083 84, wnioskodawca: Wydział Filologiczny Uniwersytetu w Białymstoku), i jednocześnie ujednolicenie ich pisowni. Analiza cerkiewnosłowiańskich słowników wykazała dużą różnorodność w sposobie zapisu tych samych haseł, stąd próba normalizacji tej kwestii. Ostateczny ich kształt jest efektem krytycznego przeglądu cerkiewnosłowiańskich słowników oraz norm pisarskich przyjętych w gramatykach języka cerkiewnosłowiańskiego.
The article tries to present the main graphical system and spelling rules adopted to write the Church Slavonic equivalents registered in the ‘Dictionary of Polish Orthodox Terminology’, an implementation of the grant of the National Programme for the Development of Humanities (Module: National Heritage, I / 2016), and to standardize their spelling. Analysis of Church Slavonic dictionaries showed a large graphical system diversity for the same entries, so the article is also an attempt to normalize this issue. Their final shape is the result of a critical review of Church Slavonic dictionaries and the writing norms included in grammars of the Church Slavonic language.

Opis:: The article deals with the problem of the yers reflected in two Church Slavonic printed Gospels: the first completed printed edition of the Church Slavonic Bible – The Ostrog Bible (1581) and the18th century altar Gospel (1771) printed in Kiev Pechersk Lavra but kept in Orthodox monastery in Jabłeczna (south-east Poland). The analysis has shown, that BO and EJ present some compatibility typical for the Ruthenian languages – yers strong position vocalization and weak position reduction. However, despite being part of one Ruthenian Recension, yers reflection in both texts was not always the same – the biggest differences were noticed in съ-, въ-, въз-, въс- prefixes, combinations such as *lьst, *lьn, *nьsk and secondary yers records.

Opis:: In this article two Church Slavonic old prints: the Ostrog Bible (1581) and the Jabłeczna Gospel Book (1771) – were subjected to collation with the lexis of the Ostromir Gospel Book. All the texts are the part of the Ruthenian recension. The purpose of the comparison was to show and explain the observed differences at the lexical level. The confrontation allowed to differentiate between the language layers comprising the texts: the Greek, Moravian, West-Bulgarian, East-Bulgarian and Ruthenian ones. What is more, both old prints are identical (with the exception of three lexemes). Taking into consideration the few discrepancies, it can definitely be said that the Evangeliary of 1771 retained the pre-Niconian lexis virtually intact. Furthermore, juxtaposing proved that the Gospel aprakos differs from the Evangeliary and from the complete edition of the Bible not only in the organization of the content but also in the lexical and word formation means.

The Grand Duchy of Moscow
Opis:: The article deals with the history of translation of the printed Bible into Church Slavic language in The Grand Duchy of Moscow. The first complete manuscript collection of Biblical books in the Church Slavic language was completed in The Grand Duchy of Moscow in 1499under the auspices of Archbishop Genady of Novgorod (1484-1504). However, the first printed Bible appeared not in The Grand Duchy of Moscow but in south-west Rus - Ostrog Bible (1581).The first printed Bible from The Grand Duchy of Moscow was just reprinted from Ostrog Bible in1663. The article is the attempt to analyse reasons why the first printed Church Slavic Bible did not appear in The Grand Duchy of Moscow.

Opis:: The aim of the article is the imperative analysis of two Slavonic Gospels: the first complete printed edition of the Church Slavonic Bible – The Ostrog Bible (1581) and the18th century altar Gospel (1771) printed in Kiev Pechersk Lavra but kept in Orthodox monastery in Jabłeczna (south-east Poland). The comparison of these two texts on linguistic level permits to ascertain, that over two hundred years Church Slavonic imperative forms have changed. While The Ostrog Bible is settled in Cyrilo-Methodian writing tradition, the younger Jabłeczyńska Gospel presents modernization of imperative forms toward unification, reduction and avoiding homonymic conflict.

Opis:: The article is focused on morphological analysis of two Slavonic Gospels: the first complete printed edition of the Church Slavonic Bible (1581) and the18th century altar Gospel, which is kept in Orthodoxmonastery in Jabłeczna (south–east Poland). The comparison of these two texts on linguistic level permits to ascertain, that over three hundred years morphological features nouns and verbs have changed. The main aim of these changes was to eliminate a homonymy which hindered text perception and caused many misunderstandings. In order to improve the biblical text, proofreaders replaced soft endings with hard endings. Did they achieve their aim? Only the Church Slavonic Bible readers can answer this question.
