Opis:
Understanding the mechanism by which oil is displaced from the porous medium requires knowledge about the role of wetting and capillary forces during EOR. Knowledge of the effect of wettability on oil production is also a key point for understanding the behavior of multiphase flows in the reservoir. A literature review indicates that wettability is one of the ma in factors controlling and regulating the distribution of oil and water in the reservoir rock. Therefore, the resolution of problems associated with the calculation of oil resources, operation and analysis of core deposits, must take into account the wettability of rock. Therefore, the study of such phenomena as wettability is still valid today. In the paper reservoir rock wettability and its types were desc ribed. Direct and indirect methods of determining the wettability were characterized, the graph of capillary pressure is used to characterize the wettability. In order to determine the effect of wettability on multiphase flow in porous media are discussed petrophysical parameters: capillary pressure, relative permeability and hydrocarbon saturation of the rock. Characterized wettability of each of Characterized wettability of each of carbonate and sandstone reservoirs.

Opis:
According to world statisties on the oil production about 25-35 % of the volumes are appearing in the form of an emulsion. Oil emulsions cause the great impediment in the operating time as a result of inereasing the viscosity even to 200 times towards oil. For a commercial product, it is necessary to prepare oil for processing, which involves the separation of a stable emulsion. In the industry various methods of dividing are applicable, among others: mechanical, chemical, electric. The article describes the types of emulsion, the reasons for its creation. The methods of demulsification of crude oil were characterized, the construction of demulsifiers, and their influence on the processes of exploitation of oil. The aim of the author's laboratory tests was demulsifiers selection to the crude oil produced in the deposit Lubiatów on Polish Lowlands.

Opis:
Exploitation of oil and gas deposits is often associated with a negative impact on the environment. This impact may be associated with the the activities on drilling rig, mine as well as situations in which there is a leakage or an eruption of a dangerous substance. The main sources of gaseous and particulate pollutants include the engines of drilling equipment and machines, boilers and transport used in the course of drilling, as well as the exploitation of the deposit. The risk of emissions of hazardous gases such as methane and hydrogen sulphide concentrations into the atmosphere occurs at the time of the eruption or leakage from the pipeline. The paper presents an attempt to assess the impact of the technical work related to the exploitation of “V” gas deposit on the atmosphere including a variant in which there was a rapid leakage of the gas system. It discusses the type of pollutants emitted into the environment, and estimates the amount of emissions related to the equipment on the deposit (boilers, engines). The authors performed modelling of selected exhausted gases from the boiler spread into the air. The authors also performed simulations of the spread of hydrogen sulphide and natural gas, which leaked into the atmosphere by the eruption due to pipeline damage. Modelling was performed based on hazard modelling software ALOHA (Areal Locations of Hazardous Atmospheres) created by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The modelling made possible to determine the impact of air pollution zones and zones of dangers caused by hydrogen sulphide. It so allowed to nominate the evacuation zones in case of an emergency situation.

Opis:
During the drilling works or exploitation of hydrocarbons working devices such as high-performance engines of drilling equipment and machines are often the main sources of gaseous and particulate pollutants emitted into the atmosphere. At the time of an emergency, eg. gas leakage or eruption in a short time in the atmosphere can get high concentrations of gases such as methane and hydrogen sulphide. The Ordinance of the Minister of the environment dated 29 January 2013 determines the basic criterion for risk of H2S assessment in mining companies extracting oil or natural gas, where is possibility – during the eruption of open holes or wells-flow on the surface of the liquid containing hydrogen sulphide, posing a hazard to workers, the mining plant traffic and people staying close to driving traffic mining plant. The paper presents the modelling of the spread gases in the atmosphere during the “normal” operation on drilling rigs and the gas leakage from the damaged pipeline. Was also made an attempt to mark safe points of the evacuation out in the moment of the emergency incident.
