    Opis:
    Degloving injury poses a severe therapeutic challenge concerning both trauma and plastic surgery. The injury involves separation of skin and subcutaneous tissue from fascia and muscles. Treatment is often long-lasting and brings unsatisfying results due to the extent of damage, risk of infection and massive blood loss. In this article, we present the management and therapeutic outcomes of a patient admitted due to the degloving injury of the lower extremity caused by workplace accident. We described the complexity of treatment including surgical intervention as well as additional treatment, which combined brought good esthetic outcome.

    Następstwa urazu skalpacyjnego stanowią trudne terapeutycznie wyzwanie obejmujące zakres działań zarówno chirurgii urazowej, jak i chirurgii plastycznej. Uszkodzenie, jakim jest uraz skalpacyjny, obejmuje odwarstwienie skóry i tkanki podskórnej od powięzi i mięśni. Leczenie ze względu na zakres urazu, ryzyko zakażenia i często masywną utratę krwi jest czasochłonne, a jego wyniki często są niezadawalające. W pracy przedstawiono proces terapeutyczny i wyniki leczenia chorej hospitalizowanej z powodu następstw urazu skalpacyjnego kończyny dolnej powstałych w wyniku wypadku w zakładzie pracy. Opisano złożony proces leczenia obejmujący leczenie chirurgiczne oraz terapie wspomagające, co finalnie pozwoliło uzyskać dobry efekt estetyczny.

    W każdym procesie działalności gospodarczej przedsiębiorstw występują procesy technologiczne, a magazyn i związane z nim czynności są nieodłącznym atrybutem procesu logistycznego. Zarządzanie łańcuchem logistycznym to wielowymiarowe działania obejmujące procesy informacyjno-decyzyjne oraz procesy wykorzystujące wiedzę właściwych instrumentów kierowania i kontroli na poziomie strategicznym i operacyjnym. Odpowiednie podejście do analizy zarządzania logistycznego w rozwiązywaniu problemów obejmujących gospodarkę magazynową w przedsiębiorstwach wymaga rozpoznania wagi problemów i określenia przyczyn ich powstania. Przedmiotem analizy i oceny w opracowaniu są systemy magazynowania zbóż jako kluczowe ogniwa logistycznych łańcuchów dostaw w przemyśle zbożowym. Nowoczesne, wydajne, jak również zrównoważone łańcuchy logistyczne mają ogromne znaczenie gospodarcze w magazynowaniu przemysłowym. W artykule przedstawiono nowe zrównoważone rozwiązania dotyczące procesu planowania oraz kontroli działań, mających na celu magazynowanie zbóż. Opisane innowacyjne rozwiązanie przyczynia się przede wszystkim do zapewnienia ciągłości funkcjonowania magazynu w sytuacjach awaryjnych oraz pozwala minimalizować kolejki przy skupie zbóż. Ponadto rozwiązanie to wskazuje na niską energochłonność, niskie koszty eksploatacyjne, wysoką wydajność, proekologiczność oraz odporność na awarie. Celem opracowania jest analiza i ocena procesu planowania oraz kontroli działań mających na celu magazynowanie zbóż i opłacalny ekonomicznie przepływ zbóż. Autorki dokonały analizy bieżącej sytuacji w przemyśle zbożowym oraz zaproponowały nową możliwość suszenia zbóż w postaci autorskiej metody alternatywnej, pozwalającej na usprawnienie logistyki przy skupach zbóż oraz zapewniającej ciągłość funkcjonowania magazynu w sytuacjach awaryjnych.
    In every business process of enterprises, there are technological processes, and the warehouse and related activities are an inherent attribute of the logistics process. Logistics chain management is a multidimensional activity involving information and decision-making processes and processes using the knowledge of appropriate instruments of direction and control at the strategic and operational levels. Appropriate approach to the analysis of logistics management in solving problems involving storage management in enterprises requires recognition of the importance of problems and identification of their causes. The subject of analysis and evaluation in this study are grain storage systems as key links of logistic supply chains in the grain industry. Modern, efficient as well as sustainable logistics chains are of great economic importance in industrial storage. The paper presents a new sustainable solution for the planning process and control of grain storage activities. The described innovative solution contributes primarily to the continuity of warehouse operation in emergency situations and minimizes queues at the purchase of cereals. Moreover, this solution indicates low energy consumption, low operating costs, high efficiency, pro-environmental character and resistance to failures. The aim of this paper is to analyze and evaluate the process of planning and controlling activities for grain storage and economically viable grain flow. The authors analyzed the current situation in the grain industry and proposed organizational improvements in the form of the author's alternative method, which minimizes the queues at grain purchases and ensures continuity of storage operation in emergency situations.

    Contemporary variability of the environment and market dynamics force enterprises to optimize operations in the supply chain. Advanced IT systems such as the Advanced Planning System are a powerful tool that supports many areas in supply chain management. An efficient supply chain is a key element in gaining a competitive advantage in the market. Therefore, the foundation of the material and information flow regulation in manufacturing enterprises is the efficient exchange of information with both the internal and external environment of the organization. The article presents the optimization process of complex operations taking place in the supply chain by implementing the Advanced Planning System in the examined enterprise. It also enumerates significant benefits resulting from the implementation.

    This paper focuses on Neuro-Linguistic Programming and its main presuppositions and concepts which could be used in the field of education. The basis of NLP method is based on human neurobiology and relates to the function of its brain. Neuro-linguistic programming refers to effective communication methods which are based on the change of people's perception and thinking. It consists of many techniques that improve communication. It also provides simple tools to work with emotions and to manage stress, strategies for encouraging creativity, time management, problem solving, motivation and learning. Thus, although NLP originates from psychotherapy, its techniques and tools were rapidly transferred to other areas of life. Education is one of the fields where NLP can be applied. Research indicates that using it in teaching and learning process can be beneficial both for students and teachers.
    Niniejszy artykuł koncentruje się na Programowaniu Neurolingwistycznym oraz jego głównych założeniach i koncepcjach, które można wykorzystać w dziedzinie edukacji. Podstawa metody NLP opiera się na neurobiologii człowieka i dotyczy funkcji jego mózgu. Programowanie neurolingwistyczne odnosi się do skutecznych metod komunikacji, opierających się na zmianie percepcji i myślenia ludzi. Składa się z wielu technik usprawniających komunikację i zapewnia proste narzędzia do pracy z emocjami i radzenia sobie ze stresem, strategie zachęcania do kreatywności, zarządzania czasem, rozwiązywania problemów, motywowania i uczenia się. Tak więc, chociaż NLP wywodzi się z psychoterapii, jej techniki i narzędzia zostały przeniesione do innych dziedzin życia. Badania wskazują, że wykorzystanie NLP w procesie nauczania i uczenia się może być korzystne zarówno dla uczniów, jak i nauczycieli.

    Interferons (IFNs) induce gene expression by phosphorylating latent transcription factors belonging to the signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) family, mediated by janus kinases (Jaks). STAT dimers directly activate genes containing the IFNγ activation site (GAS) DNA element, with different STAT proteins displaying slightly different intrinsic DNA binding specificities. The combinatorial association of STATs with the additional DNA binding adaptor protein interferon regulatory factor (IRF)9 expands the range of enhancer elements that can be targeted by the JAK-STAT pathway to interferon-stimulated response element (ISRE) and IRF response element (IRE). Based on the amino-acid sequence similarity within the IRF family and functional overlap with the STAT family, in this paper we hypothesize that other IRF members could serve as adapter proteins for the STATs during IFN responses to redirect them to subsets of ISRE, GAS and/or IRE-containing IFN-stimulated genes (ISGs). In addition, the fact that STAT2 homodimers are not capable of binding consensus GAS sites leaves the possibility for a novel type of DNA-binding site bound by STAT2 homodimers and potentially other STAT complexes.

    Opis:
    HYL1 is a nuclear protein involved in the processing of miRNAs but its exact function remains unknown. Arabidopsis thaliana hyl1 mutants exhibit hypersensitivity to ABA. We decided to answer the question whether ABA affects the HYL1 protein localization within the cell and show that it does not. We also studied the expression of HYL1 in different tissues and organs. In this paper we show for the first time the expression profile of the HYL1 protein using anti-HYL1 antibodies. The protein is present in seedlings and mature plants in all organs studied, with the highest amount in inflorescences. A. thaliana HYL1 protein has several repetitions of a 28-amino-acid sequence at the C-terminus that confer protein instability. Our bioinformatic analysis of HYL1 homologs in different Brassica species shows that this repetition is typical only for Arabidopsis. This may suggest a relatively late evolutionary acquisition of the C-terminal domain.
