    Opis:
    The article presents identification of problems during the implementation of Lean concept in small and medium-sized enterprises in Poland. Although the Lean methodology is recognized all over the world as one of the best and most effective ways to improve the functioning of enterprises, in Polish conditions exist serious problems with its implementation. Development of small and medium-sized enterprises is regarded as one of the measures of economic growth and a sign of healthy competition. The needs of the economy and the limited resources characterizing this enterprise sector imply the need to adjust its capacities to the requirements of the turbulent environment. In the analysis of problems there were used the results of questionnaire surveys conducted among representatives of the companies participating in the largest Lean conference in Central Europe.

    Opis:
    W niniejszym artykule ukazano istotę zarządzania niską emisją w kontekście zarządzania środowiskowego. Podjęto próbę usystematyzowania pojęć, roli oraz funkcji zarządzania środowiskowego, przypisywanych heterogenicznym lokalnym podmiotom (np. mieszkańcom, nauczycielom, mikroprzedsiębiorcom, lokalnym liderom) w zakresie redukcji i przeciwdziałania niskiej emisji. W części empirycznej przedstawiono studium przypadku szkoleń środowiskowych, realizowanych w formie webinariów z wykorzystaniem Społecznościowej Platformy Transferu Wiedzy „Zanim udusi nas SMOG”.
    In this paper it is shown the essence of the management of low emissions in the context of environmental management. An attempt to systematize the concepts, the role and function of the environmental management attributed to heterogeneous local actors (eg. the residents, teachers, micro-entrepreneurs, local leaders) to reduce and prevent low emissions. In the empirical part the cognitive focus concerns the case study of environmental trainings carried out in the form of webinars with the use of the Social Knowledge Transfer Platform "Before Smog Suffocates Us".

    W artykule wyodrębniono kierunki, bariery oraz determinanty proekologicznej aktywności sektora MŚP, w zakresie poprawy efektywności energetycznej ich infrastruktury budowlanej oraz redukcji zużycia energii. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań w grupie przedsiębiorstw z sektora MŚP (celowy dobór próby) zagregowano: realizowane lub planowane inwestycje związane z redukcją energochłonności infrastruktury budowlanej oraz zmniejszeniem zużycia energii w procesach produkcyjnych/usługowych. Wskazano także mechanizmy finansowania zewnętrznego ww. działań.
    The article was isolated directions, barriers and determinants of pro-ecological activities of the SME sector, in improving the energy efficiency of their building infrastructure and reducing electricity consumption. Based on the study in a group of companies from the SME sector (sampling-cell) were aggregated: ongoing or planned projects connected with the reduction of energy consumption of the building infrastructure and reducing energy consumption. It also identified the mechanisms of external financing in/in action.

    Presently, in the times of various threats and frequent economic, social and political crises - Energy Security Intensification is of key importance for the constant development of the Global Society. Energy Security is the term that cannot be unequivocally defined and determined in the global grasp. In the economically, ethnically, culturally and socially diversified world there are different views as well as the awareness concerning sources of possible threats and crises. Various threats that can have influence on possible critical situations depend on the regional division. The following threat factors can be distinguished here: resource ones, technological ones, social ones, economic ones and political ones. Geographical differentiation of the above mentioned determinants makes it necessary to adopt a multidimensional attitude to the notion of energy security as well as ecological and economic security.
    W referacie przedstawiono aktualne zagadnienia z zakresu bezpieczeństwa energetycznego. Zaproponowano systemowe podejście definiowania i analizy bezpieczeństwa energetycznego. Na podstawie badań empirycznych wyznaczono: ekonomiczne, społeczne, ekologiczne oraz techniczne determinanty intensyfikacji bezpieczeństwa energetycznego. Determinanty intensyfikacji bezpieczeństwa energetycznego zestawiono, w poszczególnych ogniwach łańcucha tworzenia wartości energii finalnej dla konsumentów, wprowadzając fazy wzrostu bezpieczeństwa omawianego sektora gospodarczego.

    Health and safety at work issue concerns every employer. Adjusting the work environment to legal requirements and standards is the key to creating health and safety culture. In every functioning OSH system there are various types of problems that employers face. The subject of the article is how to solve the problem of safety in production systems using the brainstorming method. The basic element of creating health and safety culture is an appropriate approach to occupational risk management. Risk assessment in the workplace should take place in teams as it is possible to reliably identify hazards and accurately assess them.
