Opis:
The systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a connective tissue disorder, being developed on the basis of the autoallergy. Clinical symptoms of SLE are connected not only with the occurrence of cutaneous exanthemata, but can also manifest itself with the row of symptoms on the part of internal organs, with haematologic distempers and symptoms about the neuropsychiatric character. The pathogenesis of neuropsychiatric systemic lupus erythematosus (NPSLE) is complicated and one tries to become clear her with the production of autoantibodies and with the postponement himself antigen–antibody complexes, what a succession is the cytotoxic damage of neurons, an irregular expression of inflammatory mediators and an influx of inflammatory cells, vascular distempers and an inclination to thrombuses. The entire frequency of the occurrence NPSLE is estimated on 56.3% patients with SLE. Most often mental disorders in patients with lupus erythematosus are mood disorder, anxiety disorder, cognitive disorders and consciousness clouding. An essential aspect there are also drug-induced mental trouble. In the therapeutic approach in the therapy of NPSLE about the slight activity of the disease and/or the slight degree of organ changes complies glucocorticoids in low doses and depending on needs medicines counterphobic, antidepressant, sometimes the valproic acid, the carbamazepine, the lamotrigine and anti-psychotic preparations. In the antithrombotic prophylaxis at ill from the risk population the acetylsalicylic acid complies.
Toczeń rumieniowaty układowy (systemic lupus erythematosus, SLE) jest chorobą tkanki łącznej, rozwijającą się na podłożu autoimmunizacji. Objawy kliniczne SLE są związane z występowaniem nie tylko wykwitów skórnych, ale również dolegliwości ze strony narządów wewnętrznych, a także zaburzeń hematologicznych oraz o charakterze neuropsychiatrycznym. Patogeneza NPSLE (neuropsychiatric systemic lupus erythematosus) jest złożona, próbuje się ją wyjaśniać wytwarzaniem autoprzeciwciał oraz odkładaniem się kompleksów immunologicznych, czego następstwem jest cytotoksyczne uszkodzenie neuronów, jak również nieprawidłową ekspresją mediatorów zapalnych i napływem komórek zapalnych, zaburzeniami naczyniowymi i skłonnością do zakrzepów. Całkowita częstość występowania NPSLE jest szacowana na 56,3% pacjentów z SLE. Najczęściej występującymi zaburzeniami psychicznymi u chorych na toczeń rumieniowaty są zaburzenia nastroju, lękowe, poznawcze oraz świadomości. Istotnym aspektem są także polekowe zaburzenia psychiczne. W podejściu terapeutycznym wobec pacjentów z NPSLE o nieznacznej aktywności choroby i/lub nieznacznym stopniu zmian narządowych stosuje się glikokortykosteroidy w niskich dawkach oraz – w zależności od potrzeb – leki przeciwlękowe, przeciwdepresyjne, niekiedy kwas walproinowy, karbamazepinę, lamotryginę i preparaty przeciwpsychotyczne. W profilaktyce przeciwzakrzepowej u chorych z grupy ryzyka stosuje się kwas acetylosalicylowy.

Zgodnie z tym mottem, by zrozumieć integrację europejską, jej cele, sens istnienia, a także konieczność jej kontynuacji i pogłębiania, należy powrócić do źródeł Wspólnot Europejskich. Zaś tymi źródłami są doktryny Ojców Europy oraz pozostałych „konstruktorów” i realizatorów europejskiego procesu integracji, ludzi, których wyobraźnia intelektualna wykraczała ponad wąskie widzenie interesów narodowych.
When all Fathers of the european integration already passed away, a thought is arising, that it is missing somebody who would remind how big sacrifice was necessary to make, how difficult road it was necessary to follow, how many sacrifices and compromises were needed in order to make Europe the safe place, free from conflicts and the violence, friendly to the individual, guaranteeing people the freedom, the inviolability and the protection for last several dozen years. And how easily it is possible to foil this effort, being guided by particularistic and short-sighted businesses. Now, in the middle of the 21st century, the unity of Europe is saging under the weight of many challenges. To most essential it can be rank consequences of the financial crisis from 2008 and slowing down the growth in the economy; the asymmetrical redistribution of incomes and the asymmetrical allocation of places of employment in the international scale resulting from the globalization; problems of the euro zone including the failure financial of Greece and problems of Italian banks; armed conflicts in the Middle East and refugee and migration crisis; threats of the terrorism; crisis in the Ukraine and the politics of Russia concerning the protection of its areas of influence; a spiritual crisis and reviving moods of the isolationism. When the cohesion of the European Union is standing under a big question, it is worthwhile coming back to views of both action of people which led to the reconciliation and the cooperation of european nations being earlier so hostile to each other that without any scruple were able for centuries to devote their sons for the sake of the fight against the ancient enemy. Perhaps, this reminding will make aware contemporary generations, touched already with the partial historical amnesia and thus so careless in one's proceedings, how difficulty is to build bridges of the cooperation and how easily is to demolish them, and how therefore the project of the european federation is valuable. Nowadays, we can see more clearly than at any time until now, that the peace, the stabilization and the abundance on the Old Continent weren't given once and for all, but not cultivated can easily collapse. And then achievements of Fathers of the european integration, and achievements of a few next european generations can be squandered, and those generetion would have to go back for several dozen years to the situation, in which they would have to solve its problems alone. Based on european integration in various parts of the globe different integration structures are created. Establishing these integration groups largely was based on observation of experience from integration in Europe initiated with Treaty from Paris. In South-east Asia already in 1967 Association of South-East Asian Nations – ASEAN, later because in the nineties came into existence in North America North American Free Trade Agreement – NAFTA and in South America the Mercado Comun del of Suras – MERCOSUR. The world which with admiration and jealousy for last several dozen years was watching Europe, and was imitated implemented in Europe solutions, with the incomprehension and the reverie perhaps will be thinking how it is possible that Europeans resigned from something, what the world was admiring.

This article presents the approval process of trams in accordance with the requirements of Polish law, in particular resulting from the Regulation of the Minister of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy of 28.05.2013. on the approval of trams and trolleybuses type (O. J. of 2015. item 38 consolidated text) with taking into consideration the environmental aspect. The aim of this article is introduction the approval process of trams.
W artykule przedstawiono proces homologacji tramwajów zgodnie z wymaganiami polskiego prawa, w szczególności wynikającymi z Rozporządzenia Ministra Transportu, Budownictwa i Gospodarki Morskiej z dnia 28.05.2013 roku w sprawie homologacji typu tramwajów i trolejbusów (Dz. U. 2015 r. poz. 38 tekst jednolity) z uwzględnieniem aspektu ochrony środowiska. Niniejszy artykuł ma na celu przybliżenie procesu homologacji tramwajów.

The article presents a procedure when introducing modifications to the types of trams that have a valid type approval certificate in the context of the law in Poland. The method of introducing modifications to railway vehicles is also presented. The article aims to present an alternative approach to the problem of tramway modernization, taking into account the requirements of Polish law and experience related to other types of railway vehicles.
W artykule zaprezentowano sposób postępowania przy wprowadzaniu modyfikacji w typach tramwajów posiadających aktualne świadectwo homologacji w kontekście przepisów prawa w Polsce. Przedstawiono również sposób wprowadzania modyfikacji w pojazdach kolejowych. Artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie alternatywnego sposobu podejścia do zagadnienia modernizacji tramwajów przy uwzględnieniu wymogów prawa polskiego oraz doświadczeń związanych z innymi rodzajami pojazdów szynowych.

We indicate the structural controls on, and provide an evolutionary model of, mass movements which developed on the slopes of a rhyolitic lava dome built of massive, sub-intrusive Permian rhyolites and its low-grade metamorphic cover, comprising Ordovician and Silurian sericite schists and metacherts (greenschist facies). The phenomena studied occur on the low-altitude, dome-like Wielisławka Mt. (370 m a.s.l.) in the Western Sudetes, SW Poland. A multidisciplinary approach involving geological and geomorphological fieldwork, LiDAR-based geomorphometric analyses, as well as analyses based on data obtained from terrestrial laser scanning (TLS), performed within old adits and shafts in the landslide area, have allowed determination of the origin and recent extent of the landslide phenomena. The geometry and development of the slip surface are closely linked with measured, existing discontinuities within the massif. As they enable observation of the initial stages of mass movement in the excavations within the cover rocks of the rhyolitic massif, the old adits and shafts are unique objects for the observation and reconstruction of landslide processes.

Autorzy przedstawiają wyniki badań historycznego kompleksu górniczego położonego na górze Wielisławka, w dolinie rzeki Kaczawy pomiędzy Nowym Kościołem a Sędziszową (Sudety Zachodnie). Zespół obiektów pogórniczych, na który obecnie składają się sztolnie i inne antropogeniczne formy rzeźby terenu, stanowi efekt wydobycia złota i srebra prowadzonego na stokach przekształconych przez ruchy masowe (osuwiska). Badania tych form, obejmujące geologiczne i geomorfologiczne prace terenowe, a także skaning laserowy podziemnych wyrobisk, pozwoliły na określenie zasięgu historycznych prac górniczych, a także rekonstrukcję przebiegu procesów osuwiskowych. Pozostałości po działalności wydobywczej na stokach Wielisławki są obiektami o wysokim potencjale naukowym i geoedukacyjnym.
The paper presents the results of studies of a historical gold mining complex situated on the northern slopes of Wielisławka Mt. (376,3 m a.s.l.) in the Western Sudetes, SW Poland. Mining activities were conducted on the slopes affected by mass movements (landslide processes). A multidisciplinary approach including geological fieldworks, geomorphometric analysis as well as terrestrial laser scanning (TLS), performed within old adits, have allowed to determine the recent spatial distribution of the mining forms as well as origin of landslide phenomena. The investigated adits, shafts and other anthropogenic, post-mining forms are unique objects with high scientific and geoeducational potential.

Opis:
A case of a 46-year-old car driver struck with great force by a tram through the driver’s door is presented. The main trauma consisted in chest injury with multi-rib fracture along with rupture and dissection of the thoracic aorta. Immediate medical rescue actions consisted only in procedures necessary to support vital functions; the patient survived owing to being promptly transported to the Emergency Department to undergo thoracotomy and laparotomy with massive blood transfusion. Polytrauma angio-CT scan revealed a posttraumatic thoracic aorta lesion which in turn was treated by deployment of an endovascular thoracic stent graft. This way, the immediate risk of death was averted, and the remaining traumatic lesions and conditions could be treated. Patient was discharged to a Rehabilitation Center on the 49th day of treatment. The authors stress that trauma resulting from accidents with this particular mechanism, i.e. lateral car crash on the driver’s side with the driver’s door being staved in by the tram, should be managed by immediate transport of the patient to the Emergency Center. In such cases early drainage of the pleural cavity can deteriorate patient’s status by increasing the bleeding from the ruptured aorta.

This paper presents a study on the influence of psychophysical stimuli on facial thermal emissions. Two independent groups of stimuli are proposed to investigate facial changes resulting from human stress and physical exhaustion. One pertains to physical effort while the other is linked to stress invoked by solving a simple written test. Subjects’ face reactions were measured through collecting and analyzing long-wavelength infrared images. A methodology for numerical processing of images is proposed. Results of numerical analysis with respect to different facial regions of interest are provided. An automatic deep learning based algorithm to classify specific thermal face patterns is proposed. The algorithm consists of detection of regions of interests as well as numerical analysis of thermal energy emissions of facial parts. The results of presented experiments allowed the authors to associate emission changes in specific facial regions with psychophysical stimulations of the person being examined. This work proves high usability of thermal imaging to capture changes of heat distribution of face as reactions for external stimuli.
