Software power protection tester implemented in a real-time operating system (RTOS) might replace the conventional testing setups in IEC 61850 protection systems. This paper describes an open power protection testing platform. Linux RT capabilities related to runtime environment for such a tester are examined and OS latency sources are identified and evaluated. An algorithm for a multithreaded tester operation is proposed, including Sampled Values (SV) publisher, GOOSE input/output and time synchronization. SV and GOOSE services implemented in RT Linux environment are evaluated in accordance with IEC 61850‒5 transfer time requirements. Linux PTP time synchronization service of two similar systems controlling its electrical ports is evaluated in different synchronization scenarios. The developed tester is compared to an equivalent conventional setup during the test of IED over-current function. The conducted tests show that the Linux implementation of power protection tester in the case of scheduler latency, time synchronization accuracy and transfer time all meet the requirements of IEC 61850.

Opis:
3D printing is a technology with possibilities related to the production of elements of any geometry, directly from a digital project. Elements made of plastic are metalized to give new properties such as conductivity or corrosion resistance. In this work, experimental work related to the electroless deposition of metallic coatings on plastics was carried out. For this purpose, the copper and nickel coatings were catalytically deposited on elements printed using hard-lightened resin. The effect of the metallization time on the properties of copper and nickel coatings was determined. In addition, the process of deposition metals in the magnetic field was analyzed with different direction of magnetic field to the surface of the samples. The coatings were analyzed by XRF, XRD method and morphology of surface was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

The objectives of the analysis conducted and described in this paper has been to present the practical application of service quality improvement’s chosen methods based on case study. The first part of the article contains the theoretical framework of service quality and its improvement. Afterwards, the results of empirical research have been presented. First of all, to analyze the process, the Servqual method has been chosen. To choose the most important areas of improvement the Importance-Performance Analysis’ results have been used. Furthermore, in the Impact and Effort Matrix the selected improvement ideas have been included.
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie praktycznego zastosowania metod doskonalenia jakości usług w oparciu o case study. Pierwsza część opracowania zawiera teoretyczne ramy jakości usług i jej doskonalenia. Następnie zaprezentowano wyniki badań empirycznych: analizę jakości usługi w oparciu o metodę Servqual, identyfikację kluczowych obszarów doskonalenia z wykorzystaniem metody Importance-Performance oraz analizę możliwości wdrożenia poszczególnych działań doskonalących poprzez ich prezentację na macierzy Impact&Effort.

W artykule przedstawione zostały badania jakościowe – fizykochemiczne miodów takie jak: wilgotność, kwasowość, zanieczyszczenia mechaniczne oraz badania zafałszowań miodów naturalnych skrobią i sacharozą. Przebadano i przedstawiono wyniki badań 4 odmian miodu naturalnego: lipowego, wrzosowego, akacjowego i spadziowego.
The paper presents qualitative – physicochemical tests of honey such as: moisture, acidity, mechanical impurities of honey and research on adulterations of natural honey with starch and sucrose. Four varieties of natural honey were tested and presented: linden, heather, acacia and honeydew.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie praktycznego zastosowania diagramu Ishikawy w zarządzaniu jakością wybranego procesu produkcyjnego. Pierwsza część opracowania zawiera teoretyczny zarys jakości i zarządzania nią oraz charakterystykę wybranego narzędzia: istotę, przesłanie, metodologię oraz zalety i bariery stosowania diagramu Ishikawy. Następnie, przedstawiono opracowanie diagramu Ishikawy oraz wyszczególnienie jednej grupy kategorii dla problemu: zła jakość wyrobu gotowego – czekolady mlecznej.
The objective of the article is to present the practical application of the Ishikawa diagram in quality management for chosen production process. The first part of the analysis contains the theoretical framework of quality, quality management and characteristic of the Ishikawa diagram: the essence, objective, methodology and advantages and barriers of using the Ishikawa diagram. Afterwards, the Ishikawa diagram with specification of one category group for the problem: low quality of a finished product – milk chocolate has been presented.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie praktycznego zastosowania diagramu Pareto w zarządzaniu jakością wybranego procesu produkcyjnego. Pierwsza część opracowania zawiera podsumowanie badań literaturowych z zakresu jakości oraz charakterystykę diagramu Pareto: historię powstania zasady Pareto, celowość wykorzystania, obszary zastosowania, etapy tworzenia diagramu Pareto-Lorenza, związek diagramu z metodą ABC oraz zalety korzystania z tego narzędzia w zarządzaniu jakością. Następnie, przedstawione zostało praktyczne zastosowanie diagramu Pareto-Lorenza wraz z metodą ABC w analizie wybranego problemu: przyczyn niskiej jakości produktu – czekolady mlecznej.
The objective of the article is to present the practical application of the Pareto diagram in quality management for chosen production process. The first part of the analysis contains the theoretical framework of quality and characteristic of the Pareto diagram: the history of Pareto principle, purposefulness of use, areas of application, the stages of creating Pareto-Lorenz diagram, relationship of the diagram with the ABC method and its advantages. Afterwards, the Pareto-Lorenz diagram with ABC method’s practical application in analysis of the chosen problem: causes of low quality of milk chocolate has been presented.

This work presents the studies on the electrochemical process of thin palladium layers formation onto electrodeposited cobalt coatings. The suggested methodology consists of the preparation of thick and smooth cobalt substrate via galvanostatic electrodeposition. Cobalt coatings were prepared under different cathodic current density conditions from acidic bath containing cobalt sulphate and addition of boric acid. Obtained cobalt layers were analyzed by x-ray diffraction to determine their phase composition. Freshly prepared cobalt coatings were modificated by the galvanic displacement method in PdCl2 solution, to obtain smooth and compact Pd layer. The comparison of electrocatalytic properties of Co coatings with Co/Pd ones enabled to determine the influence of Palladium presence in cathodic deposits on the hydrogen evolution process.

Objective. The study aimed to assess the effect of fur-bearing pets, including cats and dogs, on the health of individuals with allergic conditions. Materials and method. The study group comprised 18,617 individuals (16,562 from urban and 2,055 from rural areas). The tool used in the study was the European Community Respiratory Health Survey (ECRHS) and International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood (ISAAC) study questionnaire, adapted to European conditions (Middle and Eastern Europe) and used as part of the study Implementation of a System for the Prevention and Early Detection of Allergic Diseases in Poland. Results. The factors determining the keeping of fur-bearing pets in a household included a larger living space and the number of cigarettes smoked, which were observed especially in urban settings. The keeping of fur-bearing animals in rural areas acts preventively against allergic conditions, while in urban areas, these animals were a factor clearly aggravating symptoms of bronchial asthma – the risk of cough (OR 1.921; CI 10–3.36; P=0.02) and wheezing (OR 2.60; CI 1.22–5.54; P=0.01). Conclusion. Fur-bearing animals kept in rural settings exhibit preventive effects on the development of allergies; whereas in urban areas they exacerbate allergic symptoms, especially the symptoms of bronchial asthma.

This paper presents the results of experiments on metallization of plastic elements produced using 3D printing technology from the light-hardened resins. The obtained coatings were bimetallic (Cu/Ni). The first step of metallization was the electroless deposition of copper. The second one was electrodeposition of nickel on the previously prepared copper substrate. The parameters of 3D prints preparation and metallization processes were deeply investigated. The etching of plastics substrates and duration of electroless metallization of 3D prints by copper were analyzed. In the next step the influence of nickel electrodeposition time was investigated. The coating were analyzed by XRD method and morphology of surface was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The thickness of coatings was calculated based on mass differences and measured by using optical microscopy method. The optimal parameters for both processes were specified.

Następnie, przedstawione zostało praktyczne zastosowanie metody FMEA w analizie wybranego problemu: przyczyn niskiej jakości produktu – czekolady mlecznej.

According to the research, the proposition of service quality management model in the aspect of customer satisfaction has been presented.

It is believed that 5G networks will provide 1000 times more capacity than current solutions. One of the keys to achieve that goal is not only the utilization of additional radio bands, but also and foremost, the dynamic and efficient spectrum sharing. To successfully implement it such feature statistical observation and analysis of currently operational legacy systems are required. Comprehensive data on the signal parameters will allow then to determine and tune the approach to simultaneous bandwidth usage by existing and new systems. Therefore, to define and introduce the problem this paper presents a conceptual analysis of IEEE 802.16e based WiMAX network operating in the 3.6--3.8 GHz band on the eve of spectrum sharing introduction.

W artykule przedstawiono metodykę i wyniki badań, których celem była ocena możliwości wykorzystania analizatora optycznego do badania stabilności piany uzyskiwanej z piwa. Urządzenie umożliwia pozyskanie wyników o grubości uzyskiwanej warstwy, procesie jej opadania jak również innych parametrów charakteryzujących pianę. Wadą metody jest pośrednio uzyskiwana wartość grubości warstwy piany i konieczność umieszczania małej próbki w naczyniu pomiarowym.
The article shows the methodology and research results, the aim of which was to assess the possibility of using an optical analyzer to study the stability of foam obtained from beer. The device allows obtaining results about the thickness of the obtained layer, the process of its falling as well as other parameters characterizing the foam. The disadvantage of the method is indirectly obtained value of the thickness of the foam layer and the necessity of placing a small sample in the measuring vessel.
