    The aim of this article is to describe Iranian language policy from its officially recognized birth in the XVIII century up to today. It will focus on one particular aspect of language policy – linguistic purism. Firstly, the concept of vatan ‘Iranian nationalism’ will be defined. This article will try to explain the role of nationalism in Iranian language policy as well as its direct relations with purism. Then, the history of Iranian puristic movement will be addressed. It is divided into two separate periods on the basis of different elements that were considered unwanted. Therefore, the period before and after the Islamic Revolution of 1979 will be analyzed separately. Finally, certain conclusions will be drawn.

    The aim of this paper is to outline the anti-nationalist stance of the young Polish communistintellectuals, later known as “revisionists”, between 1945 and 1956. It is analyzed in thecontext of the alliance of the communist power with the nationalist right and far right,and especially in the context of anti-Semitism. It seems that anti-nationalism played a veryimportant role in both the so-called “accession to Marxism” and the “abandonment ofMarxism” by these “revisionists” in the course of their ideological evolution as Polish “realsocialism” was revealing its nationalist face.Key words: Marxism, nationalism, anti-nationalism, anti-Semitism, Stalinism, Poland,communism, revisionism

    Opis:
    Introduction/background: The article discusses the subject of group learning among prison service officers based on the example of group supervision. Aim of the paper: Based on the studies of the subject literature and the authors’ own research, an attempt was made to identify the benefits and barriers which accompany the implementation of group supervision within the framework of the prison system. Materials and methods: The research was conducted in 2020, and the research method was individual interview with a standardized list of searched for information (semi-structured). The selection of study participants was carried out through purposive sampling; the respondents were prison service officers acting as psychologists with at least 15 years’ experience in active service, defined as "experts". Results and conclusions: The respondents agree concordantly that group supervision is a valuable method of group learning, emphasizing benefits such as: expanding awareness, understanding the dynamics of relationships with inmates, coping with difficult emotions, and obtaining valuable feedback. Among the barriers preventing officers from using this form on a permanent basis, the respondents mentioned: budgetary constraints in terms of financing, lack of regularity and cyclicality of meetings, and low awareness among superiors as to the beneficial aspects of supervision.

    Objectives: The aim of this study was to estimate the level of exposure and average intensity of aggression towards particular professional groups of healthcare workers. Materials and Methods: Study participants (n = 1498) were employed at open and closed healthcare units within Podlaskie Voivodeship: 493 nurses, 504 midwives and 501 physicians. The MDM Questionnaire was applied. Results: Aggression originating from patients was experienced by 92% of nurses, 86% of doctors, and 74% of midwives examined. Aggressive behavior of co-working physicians concerned 55% of midwives, 54% of nurses and 40% of physicians. The highest average levels of patient aggression, ranging between 2.20 and 3.31, were reported by nurses. Conclusions: Nurses are the group most exposed to most aggression forms and sources. Physicians are least exposed to aggression, except for aggression manifested by patients.
