    Introduction of ferroelectric or magnetic nanoparticles into nematic liquid crystal is a promising method for the improvement of the electro-optic or magneto-optic properties of different nematic liquid crystals by non-chemical way. This work is devoted to the study of composite systems of liquid crystal with spherical ferroelectric or magnetic particles with the aim to study their sensitivity to electric and magnetic fields. The nematic 4-(trans-4'-n-hexylcyclohexyl)-isothiocyanatobenzene (6CHBT) liquid crystal was doped with SbSI ferroelectric particles or with $Fe_{3}O_{4}$ magnetic particles. The structural transitions in ferronematic samples were indicated by capacitance measurements in a capacitor made of ITO-coated glass electrodes in combined electric and magnetic fields. The obtained results showed the increase of the shift in critical voltage with increasing magnetic field in both kinds of samples.

    The article presents a study of copper ore from western Ukraine aimed at explanation of possibilities of their exploitation for the color metallurgy development during the period of Tripolye culture. It gives a short characteristics of lithological, mineralogical, and geochemical composition of copper ores from the Dneper area, Volhynia, and the Carpathians plateau. It further presents results of chemical and spectral analysis of ore-bearing rocks, evaluation of its current state and potential possibilities of their use in the past. Based upon a statement that metal objects produced during the existence of the Tripolye culture were made of pure copper two methods of its procurement were considered: (a) from a virgin copper, and (b) from oxygenated copper ore of sedimentary origin in which a small number of admixtures was noticed. The paper shows the potential of studies aimed at explanation of the correlation between contemporary and past copper ores and some copper goods from archaeological sites of the Tarnopol region.

    The author of the article is interested in the attitude of the medieval person towards various astronomical phenomena, their aspiration to characterize these phenomena, to point out their connection with the historical events of the Novgorod Republic. The relevance of the study of our subject is that the analysis of the descriptions of omens in medieval literature, including chronicles, is poorly researched by well-known historians and mediaevalists. The purpose of the work is to find, examine, and analyze what omens the medieval person drew attention to, how they reacted to them, and how these are recorded in the chronicles. Methods such as descriptive, comparative, and comparative and collation were used in the article. Fragments of the Chronicle of Novgorod describing various celestial omens were collected and analyzed in the article. The novelty of the research is that the analysis of celestial omens recorded in the Chronicle of Novgorod has not been performed before, and they have not been given much importance in the interpretation of ancient records.
    Автора статьи интересует отношение средневекового человека к различным астрономическим явлениям, его стремление охарактеризовать эти явления, указать на их связь с историческими событиями Новгородской республики. Актуальность изучения нашей темы заключается в том, что анализ описаний предзнаменований в средневековой литературе, в том числе и в хрониках, мало изучен известными историками и медиевистами. Цель работы – найти, рассмотреть и проанализировать, на какие приметы обращал внимание средневековый человек, как он на них реагировал и как они зафиксированы в летописях. В статье использованы такие методы, как описательный, сравнительный, сравнительно-сопоставительный. В статье собраны и проанализированы фрагменты Новгородской летописи, описывающие различные небесные предзнаменования. Новизна исследования состоит в том, что анализ небесных предзнаменований, зафиксированных в Новгородской летописи, ранее не проводился, и им не придавалось большого значения при интерпретации древних летописей.
    Autorki artykułu interesuje stosunek człowieka średniowiecza do różnych zjawisk astronomicznych, jego dążenie do scharakteryzowania tych zjawisk, wskazania ich związku z wydarzeniami historycznymi Republiki Nowogrodzkiej. Istotność badań naszego tematu polega na tym, że analiza opisów wróżb w literaturze średniowiecznej, w tym w kronikach, jest słabo zbadana przez historyków i mediewistów. Celem pracy jest odnalezienie, zbadanie i przeanalizowanie, na jakie wróżby zwracał uwagę średniowieczny człowiek, jak na nie reagował i jak zostały one zapisane w kronikach. W artykule zebrano i przeanalizowano fragmenty Kroniki Nowogrodu opisujące różne astralne wróżby. Niniejsze badanie podejmuje  problem wróżb astralnych zapisanych w Kronice Nowogrodzkiej, który do tej pory nie był podejmowany, ponieważ w tym zakresie nie przywiązywano większej wagi do historycznych zapisów.

    An important feature of lyotropic liquid crystals is the self-assembly of the amphiphilic molecules as supermolecular structures. We have studied the formation of nematic liquid crystal phase in solutions containing lysozyme amyloid fibrils and magnetic nanoparticles using oscilloscopic method. Interaction of fibrils with magnetic nanoparticles under the external magnetic field resulted in fibril re-arrangement. The analysis of the obtained results suggests that the decrease in conductivity of solutions in presence of magnetic field is due to decrease of the ion mobility caused by re-arrangement of structures in the solution. The obtained results allow determination of the optimum ratio of the components which can lead to preparation of solutions with a more ordered structure in presence of magnetic field.
