- To evaluate the efficiency of vaginal cleansing in the treatment of Trichomonadosis in women the authors treated 600 patients dividing them in two equal groups; the first group was treated with Acetarsol, the other with Devaginol. Each group was divided in 6 subgroups with 50 women each. In subgroups, another drug was applied for vaginal cleansing, the sixth groups constituting a control (without cleansing). The results given in tabulars form point to the importance of vaginal cleansing in the treatment of Trichomonadosis. The composition of a fluid is given which possesses a strong bacteria - and fungicidal effect and acts synergetically with the principal drug.
